Abstract

The ability of agricultural business human resources in rural areas in business management is still lacking because most of them have low education, only based on experience and training or counseling from related agencies. Most of the business capital comes from their own capital and partly is a capital strengthening fund from the government for the community through the Department of Agriculture. Production management is still simple and the marketing of agricultural business products is mainly marketed in the form of logs and is still on a local scale. Therefore, efforts to develop community businesses in rural areas are needed, one of which is through business management technical guidance. Business Management technical assistance is part of Partnership Technical Guidance Activities. To Improve the Quality of Human Resources in Southeast Sulawesi which was carried out by the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Agriculture Service on 19 - 20 September 2022 which was attended by 20 participants. The results of the technical assistance showed that the majority (70%) of the training participants knew and were able to explain the importance of recording business transactions, while 10 people (50%) were able to record business transactions and 5 people (25%) had continued with the preparation of financial reports. (income statement and balance sheet). In addition, participants have also tried to utilize the information from the financial statements to make future business projections.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of fisheries modernization on the social structure of Bajo Tribe fishermen. The research was conducted from July to September 2017, in Latawe Village, West Muna Regency. After categorizing, a sample of 100 respondents was obtained; there are 45 boat owner fishermen (ponggawa), 30 local fishermen (mustard), 25 fishermen outside the village. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, namely the development of concepts and gathering facts but did not carry out hypothesis testing, and analyzed the relationship between variables for hypothesis testing using quantitative and qualitative approaches. For primary quantitative data, the processing is carried out using frequency tables and simple cross-tabulations. The results showed that the modernization of fisheries in fishing communities had an impact on various aspects of fishermen's life. The use of each type of facility has consequences or impacts that occur, namely work patterns, social structures and the level of welfare of fishermen

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the production of citrus farming in Tanea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. The population in this study amounted to 30 heads of families (KK). This study determined the sample by census, i.e., the entire population was sampled. The variable used in this research is the characteristics of farmers, including the number of family members (persons), age (years), education level, number of family dependents, and citrus farming experience. Other variables affect production, including labor, plant age, number of trees, fertilizers, and pesticides. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the factors that influenced the production of sweet orange farming in Tanea Village were the number of trees and the age of the plant. Both factors had a positive and significant effect on increasing the production of sweet oranges. Increasing the number of trees by 1% will increase the production of sweet oranges by 1,072 kg/ha. Adding 1% plant age will be followed by an increase in lovely orange output of 1,140 kg/ha. Adding and reducing the number of workers by 1% does not affect the production produced by sweet orange farmers. Adding or decreasing 1% of fertilizer cannot affect the sweet oranges produced. Adding and reducing the amount of 1% pesticide does not affect the resulting production. The average output of sweet oranges in Tanea Village is 1,945 kg/harvest season, with the highest show being 12000 kg and the lowest being 100 kg.

Abstract

This research aims to know: (1) the Agrotourism Potential in Alebo Village Konda Subdistrict of South Konawe Regency and (2) the Strategy of agro-tourism development in Alebo Village Konda Subdistrict of South Konawe Regency. The types of data are primary and secondary data. at the same time, methods of data analysis used tabulation and descriptive analysis, SWOT, and analysis of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results of the study indicate that (1) Alebo Village is included in the category of potential to be developed into an agro-tourism area based on eleven criteria such as land use, climate, hydrology, population, cultural arts, Spasial Plan, Regional Industrial Development Master Plan, agricultural attractions, natural attractions, tourism resources availability, access (2) Priority of agro-tourism development strategy from three alternative strategies that can be used priority of agro-tourism development strategy that can be done is to improve the quality of service and quality of tourism facilities with its own characteristics so that consumers are satisfied with the services and facilities that exist.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom is a type of wood mushroom that Indonesia commonly consumes. It has a fruiting body that grows in bloom to form a shallow funnel shell (oyster). This study aimed to determine the agribusiness performance of the White Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) in Anduonohu ​​Village, Poasia District, Kendari City. Case study on Tiga Putra Farm Business. This research was conducted in September 2021. The object of this research was the Tiga Putra Fram Timber Mushroom business. The method used in this study is Qualitative Descriptive Analysis. The type of data in this study used primary data, namely direct interviews, and secondary data, namely library literature. The variables used in this study are 1. The informant's identity includes age, education level, business experience, and some family dependents, 2. Agribusiness performance from this study is in the form of support in the agribusiness subsystem, which includes production facilities (seeds, fertilizers, tools /machinery, and mushroom house), cultivation and farming subsystem (planting, maintenance, processing), and marketing subsystem (distribution). The results of this study are the agribusiness performance of the white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), namely the procurement and provision of production facilities, including the procurement of mushroom houses, seeds, tools, and machines. Cultivation and farming include oyster mushroom production, maintenance, and harvest. Oyster mushroom product marketing is done online and offline by online method, namely posting oyster mushroom products on several social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Thus the range of product marketing can be more comprehensive. Offline marketing to resellers of oyster mushrooms that will be resold, such as the Ummushabri Kendari and Hypermart.

Abstract

  This research is motivated by the fact that most of the people who farmed cashew nuts in Lalemba, West Muna Regency have the primary goal of meeting the needs of daily life aincreasingase household income. This study aims to determine the income of cashew farming and the household income of cashew farmers. This research was conducted in Lalemba Village, Lawa District, West Muna Regency, from May to December 2021. The variables in this study included age, education level, number of family members, land area, cashew farming income, and household income. This research uses farm income analysis and household income analysis. The sample of guava farmers was 38 respondents. The results of the study showed that the average income of cashew farmers was IDR. 6,302,119/Ha/Year. The.a verage household income is IDR. 18,459,883/year. The average household income consists of other farming income of IDR. 7,039.080/Ha/Year, and the average non-agricultural income is IDR. 5,018,684/Year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that are often faced by farmers from the capital aspect because of the difficulty of getting capital assistance, crop failure, marketing of agricultural products, very low sales of agricultural products due to the lack of human resource ability to manage and maximize their potential. This research aims to find out the form of empowerment of rice paddy farming communities through agribusiness development in Gapoktan Pebaloran District Curio Enrekang Regency. The number of informants in the study was 22. Determination of informants in this study using purposive technique. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the form of community empowerment of rice paddy farmers consists of: capital assistance, with capital assistance provided by the government of Rp.100,000,000, - through PUAP. Furthermore, infrastructure development assistance in the form of irrigation and agricultural business roads. Then institutional development, and strengthening business partnerships. Based on the results of this study it is recommended that for farmers that the independence of a farmer should be owned in the management of rice paddy farming business, for the government to pay more attention and further strengthen policies in strengthening the form of empowerment programs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the priority determination of selected superior agricultural commodities that support industrial development in North Buton Regency. The type of data used in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from various respondents' statements through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), while secondary data was obtained from various literature and other references that support this research. Data analysis used in this research was through a Comparison Analysis approach based on Multicriteria decision-making (MCDM), with various criteria, namely base commodities, land suitability; economic and financial feasibility, socio-cultural feasibility; and the existence of national and regional policies. The research results show that the main priority commodities selected for food crops and secondary crops are field rice commodities, while plantation and fishery commodities are coconut and capture fisheries commodities respectively. Meanwhile, the determination of priority leading industries in North Buton Regency includes; the rice flour processing industry, food feed industry, livestock industry, VCO industry, desiccated coconut (DC) industry, charcoal/activated carbon industry, coconut fiber industry, fish processing and packing industry.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of broiler chicken plasma farmers regarding the implementation of partnerships with core companies in Kendari City. This research was carried out in June - July 2023, and the research location was Kendari City because many broiler chicken plasma farms partner with core companies. The data types consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used include interview techniques and literature. Calculations were carried out to find an index of farmers' satisfaction levels with: (a) production facility services, (b) cultivation technical services, and (c) post-harvest services by determining weights based on the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. The research results show that the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) attribute included in quadrant I is the adequacy of production facility services and guidance materials, as well as the suitability of harvest time. Attributes included in quadrant II are DOC quality, feed quality, adequacy of medicines and vaccines, frequency of technical guidance, and time for payment of harvest results. The attributes in quadrant III are DOC prices, feed prices, drug and vaccine prices, production facility delivery schedules, and handling of remaining sapronac. The attributes in quadrant IV are responses to complaints and the suitability of output prices. Based on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis, the farmer satisfaction level is 0.722 or 72.20 percent, which falls into the satisfied categor

Abstract

The abundant amount of rice production in Konawe Regency is an opportunity for the community, especially MSME entrepreneurs, to earn more income by increasing the added value of processing rice into rengginang products. Consumer decisions in buying rengginang will provide opportunities for producers to provide products that suit consumer preferences. The purpose of this study is to determine the added value obtained in the rengginang production business, as well as to determine consumer preferences for the most considered attributes of rengginang products in Kasumewuho Village, Wawotobi District, Konawe Regency. The study was conducted from November 2022 to March 2023. The number of respondents was 1 producer by conducting case studies and determining consumer samples using accidental sampling with a minimum sample method that produced a sample of 40 consumers. Data collected for added value includes raw materials, supporting materials, BOP (Factory Overhead Costs), and labor while data collected for consumer preferences includes taste, price, aroma, and packaging. Data analysis using the methods of Hayami, et al., (1987) and Fishbein Multiattribute analysis. The results showed that the added value obtained from rengginang production activities in Kasumewuho Village, Wawotobi District, Konawe Regency amounted to Rp.21,769/kg of raw materials, or about 45 percent of the product value per kg of raw materials. Consumer preferences for the attributes in rengginang products that consumers most consider to make purchases are taste. Keywords: added value; consumen; preferences; rengginang.
