Abstract

 Pelaksanaan sistem keselamatan pasien meliputi identifikasi, pengelolaan risiko pasien, pelaporan atas analisis insiden, kemampuan belajar dari insiden berikut tindak lanjutnya, serta implementasi solusi untuk meminimalkan timbulnya risiko dalam upaya mencegah terjadinya cedera yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan. Budaya keselamatan pasien memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan keselamatan pasien.. Masalah utama pada pelaksanaan sistem keselamatan pasien dalah kepatuhan pelabelan obat high alert oleh farmasi di setiap unit yang belum sesuai dengan standar hal ini dapat meningkatkan insiden keselamatan pasien yang terjadi di rumah sakit adanya insiden tersebut dapat menyebabkan mutu pelayanan di rumah sakit akan menurun. Metode penelitian ini adalah telaah artikel dengan menggunakan data base internasional. Pencarian literature untuk keaslian penelitain ini menggunakan artikel yang berbahasa inggris yang berasal dari Scopus, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, PubMed dan Google Scholar mulai tahun 2017 sampai dengan tahun 2022. Pencarian literature menggunakan keyword “knowledge management,  “the patient’s safety culture “Attitude”, “Reporting” dan Incident,. Hasil pemilihan artikel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi 15 artikel, kemudian diberikan nomor seri dan dilakukan analisis artikel untuk memudahkan proses peninjauan.  Kesimpulan dari proses analisis knowledge management dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar pengembangan model budaya keselamatan pasien

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction: Patients with schizophrenia experience symptoms that affect their quality of life such as working, socializing, and other daily activities. Families have the main task of caring for patients when they are sick. This systematic review aims to investigate QoL in schizophrenia patients who receive family support during the treatment process. Methods: Springer Link, Pubmed, Sage Journal, and Science Direct databases were used for literature search. The literature used was published within the last 5 years that examined family support on QoL of patients with schizophrenia. Articles were read and analyzed using the PRISMA procedure to guide this review. Results: The literature search yielded 375 research articles, 11 of which were included after multiple selections in the systematic review. Overall, patients with schizophrenia when supported by their families had significantly higher QoL. Family support influenced QoL on the constructs of social interaction, psychological status and functional ability in patients with schizophrenia. Conclusion: Further research is needed on the development of interventions that utilize family support through family empowerment in its implementation.application of this therapy. Future CBT programs can focus on developing the content of CBT by utilizing the internal and external factors of adolescents based on the findings of this study. Abstract

Introduction: : Families of schizophrenia patients need   to obtain information from health services about how to care for them. Limited information and understanding of responsibilities in caring are still obstacles to becoming an empowered family in caring for patients with schizophrenia. The study aimed to explore family needs regarding information from health services and family responsibilities when caring for patients with schizophrenia. Methods: This study used a descriptive qualitative design. The study involved families who cared for patients with schizophrenia in Surabaya, Indonesia. Twenty participants were obtained using purposive sampling techniques and the sample size was determined by data saturation. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, field notes and interview question guides. The data were processed with content analysis. Results: The results showed eight themes. Families need information about patient conditions, medication, routine control, and counseling for patient conditions as well as for families. The family describes the responsibilities carried out for the patient as providing support for patient treatment, fulfilling daily needs, helping with social skills, and providing activities in spare time. Conclusions: Adequate information from health services regarding both the patient's condition and family counseling can help to meet the demands of care, which stimulates families to be more empowered to carry out care responsibilities and has an impact on the ability to care better Keywords: counseling, empowerment, family, mental disorder, responsibility, schizophrenia

Abstract

Orang dengan gangguan jiwa berisiko mengalami kekambuhan. Pemulihan psikososial orang dengan gangguan jiwa perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dan komprehensif. Perawat di Puskesmas di Surabaya belum semuanya memahami pemulihan psikososial orang dengan gangguan jiwa di komunitas. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat puskesmas Surabaya tentang pemulihan psikososial orang dengan gangguan jiwa di komunitas. Hasil kegiatan pengmas ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan perawat puskesmas tentang pemulihan psikososial orang dengan gangguan jiwa di komunitas. Rerata skor pre test adalah 5.01 dan post-test adalah 7.51. Sesudah diberikan pelatihan pemulihan psikososial, mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik (65,9%). Partisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman perawat tentang proses pemulihan psikososial pada individu dengan gangguan mental. Pengalaman ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang tantangan yang dihadapi oleh populasi ini, sehingga memungkinkan perawat untuk lebih mendukung dan mengadvokasi strategi pemulihan yang efektif dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

The family as one of system support for schizophrenia treatment in the primary care setting has been a challenge in integrating family services into mental health. This study aimed to review the urgent of family involvement during the treatment of schizophrenia in health mental services using the Family-Centered Care approach. A systematic review was performed using the population, intervention, comparison, outcome, study design (PICOS) framework within Scopus (27 articles), ProQuest (151 articles), Science Direct (93 articles), EBSCO (124 articles), and Springer (149 articles) published databases in the last five years using the keywords of “Family- Centered Care, nursing, AND Schizophreni*”. The articles were empirical quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods studies published within 2017- 2021 where study participants were clinically diagnosed with schizophrenia and intervention approaches were within the scope of family involvement. Twenty-four articles met the inclusion criteria for review. Evidence supports a professionally engaged relationship between patients, families, and providers with open knowledge exchange, communication, and collaboration. Family-centered care requires empathy, understanding, respect, and empowerment to choose, control decisions, and empower in the treatment of schizophrenia. This study concludes the importance of family involvement in the treatment of schizophrenia from the start. Health care providers help families through the admissions process.

Abstract

Body image is an important issue for adolescents. This is related to the surrounding appearance that is considered attractive by most people where beautiful people are those who have a tall body and white skin. The purpose of this Systematic review is to analyze the effect of psychological interventions on adolescent's body image. Systematic review accessed five electronic databases (Scopus, MEDLINE, CINAHL, Science Direct, and ProQuest). The search was carried out from April to June. 25 articles were analyzed. Most of the psychological interventions provided offline were 16 studies and the rest were through indirect intervention methods. The research design consisted of 17 randomized control trials and 8 studies using quasi-experimental. Two types of psychological interventions can be used as alternatives to enhance and maintain a positive body image: direct psychological intervention and indirect psychological intervention using technology.

Abstract

Schizophrenic client caregivers are faced with various problems caused by the abnormal behavior of schizophrenic clients that can trigger stress. To determine the effectiveness of spiritual care in improving the emotional regulation of caregiver clients with schizophrenia. The sources of the articles used were obtained from searches through the Scopus database Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Proquest. The search for articles is limited from 2015 to 2020. The keywords used are "spiritual care", "Emotional Regulation" "Caregiver". This systematic review uses 15 articles that fit the inclusion criteria. The spiritual care intervention from the reviewed research is very significant in increasing the emotional regulation of the caregiver in schizophrenic clients. Spiritual care strategy can increase emotional regulation and calm attitude so that it will have a good impact on the recovery process for schizophrenic clients. Abstract

Inadequate discharge planning for stroke patients poses significant challenges for healthcare. Effective discharge planning interventions have been examined in several studies, but little information is available about nursing roles or specific components of these interventions. It aims to explain the effectiveness of nursing planning interventions for stroke patients. This study was conducted through a systematic review with the PRISMA approach. We obtained 28 articles, and 15 were considered relevant. To analyze the methodological quality in each study, JBI was used for this type of experimental study. Based on a review of 15 articles, it was found that family empowerment-based discharge planning was proven to be effective in improving quality of life, self-care independence, exercise-based discharge planning to be effective in self-care independence, and discharge planning based on home visits and ADL training to be effective in improving self-care independence and mobility.

Abstract

The quality of nursing care was an important value that can affect the quality of the hospital. Purpose: This systematic review was to analyze the relationship between nurse characteristics to work productivity of nurses and what is the impact on patient satisfaction. The research design was a systematic review by the PRISMA approach. The criteria inclusion were nurses who worked in hospitals. Selection of the journals was carried out using: 1) Scopus, PubMed, Springer Link, and Science Direct database, 2) Searches on January 19th-28th 2021, 3) 2015-2021 journals published in English, 4) used the PICOS approach to analyzing. The analysis resulted in 1.544 journals and 15 appropriate were selected. Nurse characteristics were related to the work productivity of nurses. The motivation was the characteristic of nurses that most influences to work productivity of nurses.

Abstract

Introduction: The shift to online learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the duration of gadget use. This change has been associated with health issues, including disrupted sleep patterns and altered student social interactions. This study explores the relationship between gadget use sleep patterns and social interactions among nursing students at Airlangga University during the pandemic. Methods: This research was conducted from January 21 to 23, 2022, using a correlational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The study included 164 nursing students from Airlangga University, selected through simple random sampling. The independent variable was gadget use, and the dependent variables were changes in sleep patterns and social interactions. Instruments used included the Smartphone Addiction Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, and Social Interaction Anxiety Scale. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman's rho test, with significance set at <0.05. Result : Based on the results study, there was significant a relationship between gadget use and sleep patterns (p = 0.037, r = -0.163) and social interaction with results (p = 0.002, r = -236). Conclusion: Excessive use of gadgets, coupled with poor time management, can lead to social dysfunction in students, making them apathetic and less aware of their surroundings. Increased gadget usage correlates with reduced sleep quality and diminished social interaction. This research will serve as a valuable source of information and a reference for promoting health education and counseling related to gadget usage.
