The research consisted of two stages, namely stage 1 using an explanatory survey with a cross sectional approach. The population was 262 nurses at Blambangan Hospital, Banyuwangi Regency, r sample of 168 respondents was obtained through probability sampling with cluster random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). Stage 2 research is the preparation of a supervision based on EI module that refers to strategic issues obtained from the results of the first stage research, focus group discussions and expert consultations. There is a significant influence of individual factors (T=8.789), organizational factors (T=4.519), psychological factors (T=13.853), and work factors (T=3.517) on supervision based on EI. There is an influence of individual factors (T=11.703), organizational factors (T=5.012), psychological factors (T=9.008), and work factors (T=6.512) on the quality of nursing services. There is an influence of supervision based on EI (T= 3.224) on the quality of nursing services, as well as the arrangement of supervision based on EI modules to improve the quality of nursing services. Abstract

Introduction: Adolescents often have difficulty adjusting to their surroundings. Coping and family support are also associated with this adjustment. However, the relationship between the aforementioned factors and adjustment among adolescents with parents who work as migrant workers remains unclear. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between coping and family support with the adjustment of adolescents who have parents who work as migrant workers. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study. A total of 70 early adolescents with parents working as migrant workers were recruited from the total sample. In this study, coping strategies and family social support were assigned as independent variables, while the dependent variable was the adjustment of adolescents who had parents as migrant workers. The questionnaire was used to measure the outcome of interest and tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis in this study used Spearman Rho. Spearman's Rho correlation with alpha, α set ≤ 0.05, was used to analyze the data. Results: The results indicate that Coping strategies (p = 0.018; r = 0.283) and family support (p = 0.001; r = 0.380) were associated with adolescent adjustment. Conclusions: Both coping strategies and family support contribute to the adjustment of adolescents whose parents work as migrant workers. There is a need to increase the priority of psychosocial counseling for adolescents who have parents working as migrant workers and educate their families to increase attention and support appropriate adolescent development.

The average score of participants at the pretest was 5.36 and increased at the posttest to 8.46, so there was an increase in family caregivers' knowledge regarding cognitive impairment problems. The difference between the pre-test and post-test significance values is 0.000, this value is <0.05 which explains that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. Training is useful for improving the knowledge and skills of family caregivers in caring for older adults with cognitive impairment problems.

Abstract

Introduction: Depression is a mental health disorder commonly found across all age groups, including adolescents. Adolescent depression imposes burdens on individuals, families, and caregivers and may lead to social, educational, occupational, and physical health problems. This study aimed to identify digital educational interventions to reduce depressive symptoms in adolescents. Methods: This study conducted a scoping review, analyzing articles from four academic databases: Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Science Direct. Study selection was guided by the PCC (Population, Concept, Context) framework and followed the PRISMA-ScR reporting standards. Results: A total of 1,787 articles were identified, with 12 studies meeting the inclusion criteria. The review indicated that digital educational interventions can be categorized into three main approaches: (1) CBT-based interventions, (2) psychoeducation and self-management programs, and (3) chatbot- or social media–based interventions. Most interventions demonstrated significant reductions in depressive symptoms, anxiety, and improved resilience among adolescents. Several applications also integrated digital screening tools such as PHQ-8 and PHQ-9. Conclusion: Digital nursing interventions delivered through mobile health applications are effective in reducing depressive symptoms among adolescents. These interventions are innovative, scalable, and complement traditional mental health services by providing accessible, interactive, and youth-oriented approaches that address both psychological and physical needs.

Abstract

Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) remains one of the most common healthcare-associated infections and contributes significantly to increased morbidity, length of hospital stay, and healthcare costs. Suboptimal prevention practices and a lack of structured supervision instruments may lead to inconsistent adherence to evidence-based guidelines. This study aims to develop a supervision instrument for CAUTI prevention based on the CDC Guideline for Prevention of CAUTI. This study used a descriptive mixed-methods Research and Development (R&D) design, combining quantitative document analysis and qualitative interviews. A total of 100 patient monitoring documents were selected using purposive sampling, along with 7 ward head nurses as interview participants. Data were collected through document evaluation and semi-structured interviews, followed by Focus Group Discussion (FGD), expert consultation, and content validity testing using I-CVI. The developed instruments include a CAUTI prevention instrument for catheter insertion, as well as an instrument for prevention during catheter care and infection monitoring. The development encompassed the supervision format (including soft skills competency, interpretation), prevention content during catheter insertion, and prevention content during catheter care and infection monitoring. The validity test results for both instruments showed an I-CVI of 1.00, indicating that the instruments are valid and relevant. The developed instrument is expected to support the achievement of quality CAUTI prevention services in accordance with current guidelines, providing a comprehensive and high-quality instrument to enhance patient safety.
