Abstract

The Pondo River is one of the rivers in Central Sulawesi which crosses the Poboya, Lasoani, Tanamodindi and Talise villages. Administratively, it is located in Mantikulore District, Poboya Village. This study aims to determine the level of diversity and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos in the Pondo River and its use as a learning resource. This research is a descriptive study that uses a random sampling method, with surbernet as a means of taking samples. To determine the level of diversity using the Shannon-Winner diversity index formula, to determine the distribution pattern using the Morista distribution index. The results showed the diversity of macrozoobenthos in the Pondo River, namely: H '= 1.36 moderate diversity. The distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos, namely: The pattern of distribution in groups (clustered) and uniform (regular), of the 10 macrozoobenthos found in the species Hydropsyche sp. has a clustered distribution pattern (clustered). Based on the results of the validation test, this research is suitable to be used as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book with a feasibility percentage of 82.1%.

Abstract

Bivalves are a class within molluscs that includes all shells that have a pair of shells. This study aims to describe the diversity of bivalves in the waters of Donggulu village, Kasimbar district, Parigi Moutong district and the types of bivalves obtained can be used as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book. This research was conducted in Ocean Waters in Donggulu Village, Kasimbar District, Parigi Moutong Regency in February 2020. This type of research is descriptive, sampling using cruising techniques by dividing stations into three stations. The results of the research and identification found 15 types of bivalves, namely Anodonta anatina, Spondylus gaederopus, Macoma balthica, Macoma elimata, Anadara granusa, Anadara gubernaculum, Anadara sativa, Anadara sp, Vasticardium flavum, Donax faba, Hippopus hippopus, Tridacna maxsima, Paphia gallus, Gafrarium sp, and Gafrarium pectinatum. The diversity index obtained is H '= 1.088 which indicates that the bivalve species are at a moderate level. The validation of research results as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book yielded a percentage89.675% which indicates that it is feasible to be used as a learning resource

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model based on audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted using two groups, namely Class XI IPA 4, which consisted of 31 students as the experimental class, and class XI IPA 3, which consisted of 35 students as the control class. Pretest data in the experimental class obtained an average value of 35.3 and in the control class 34.4. The results of this study obtained the average value of the experimental class learning outcomes that is 73.27 and 67.65 control class. Testing the research hypothesis using the SPSS T-test application. The results showed a significant level value of 0.000 <0.05 or tcount ttable = 6.805 1.997 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model based on audiovisual media on the Learning Outcomes of Class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Palu

Abstract

This study aims to describe the abundance of bird species in campus area of the Tadulako University and the results of this study is used as a Pocket Book about bird species as a medium for learning biology. The method used is the IPA (Indices Ponctual Abundance) method with a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study found 25 species of birds including: Lanius sahach, Passer montanus, Pycnonotus aurigaster, Lalage sueurii, Hirundo rustica, Saxicola caprata, Lonchura pallida, Corvus enca, Gerygone sulphurea, Acridotheres javanicus, Hirundo rustica, Saxicola caprata, Lonchura pallida, Corvus enca, Gerygone sulphurea, Acridotheres javanicus, Necterinia jugulopus, Stylus , Ptilinopus melanospilus, Streptopelia chinensis, Geopelia striata, Centropus bengaleansis, Cacomantis merulinus, Merops philippinus, Todirhampus chloris, Collocalia esculenta, Turnix suscitatur, Gallirallus torquatus, Falco moluccensis, Cystola moluncensis, Cisticola juncid. 8 orders, 21 families, and 25 genera. and for the dominant abundance level there are 5 types namely Passer montanus, Pycnonotus aurigaster, Hirundo rustica, Lonchura pallida, and Zosterops palpebrosus. Evaluation of media by content experts by 78%, design experts by 84%, and media experts by 67.14%. Validation from students as many as 15 people amounted to 87.25% thus the pocket book media was declared fit for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the type and content of food for Mujair and tilapia fish from Lake Lindu by means of a section and taking gastric contents and observing and analyzing them. The stages of the research were fish sampling, surgery (section), research in the laboratory and testing the nutritional content of food (carbohydrates, protein and fat). The research samples were Mujair fish (Oreochromis mossambicus) and Tilapia (Oreochromis nilotica) from Lake Lindu. Based on research obtained by the types of fish food O. mossambicus obtained two groups of Phytoplankton namely, Oedogonium sp, Anabaena sp, Nostoc sp, Oscillatoria princeps, Diatomae sp, Navicula gysingen, Rivularia sp, Coelastrum sphaericum, and Zooplankton namely Chironomus sp, Dugesia tigrina. There were eight types of food for O. nilotica, consisting of six types of phytoplankton, namely Oedogonium sp, Anabaena sp, Nostoc sp, Oscillatoria princeps, Rivularia sp, Coelastrum sphaericum and 2 types of zooplankton feed, namely Chironomus sp and Dugesia tigrina. The nutritional content of fish food/feed is protein (15.18%), fat (19.20%), and carbohydrates (1.9%).
