Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of using augmented reality (AR) at Muara Takus Temple as a source of history learning for students' historical understanding. Experimental research methods were involved in this research. 88 secondary school students were used as samples. They were split into two groups, the experimental group and the control group, each of which had 44 randomly chosen participants. A history test and a questionnaire used for collecting data. Historical understanding data was analyzed using statistical analysis such as the t-test to compare differences between the experimental group and the control group. Data from the questionnaire was analyzed descriptively to identify user experience and satisfaction with the AR application. The computed t score of 6.21 is significantly higher than the 2.00 t table value. These findings indicate that the use of AR in history learning can increase student understanding and engagement. Apart from that, the use of AR also increases students' interest, motivation and interaction abilities and provides immersive experiences in history learning. This research confirms that AR has great potential to improve students' historical understanding while stimulating their interest, motivation, and interaction abilities in history subjects.

Abstract

Currently, the transformation of physical local history material into digital form is becoming an attraction for history learning. Apart from providing new experiences to students, digitalization is also a means of responding to the challenges of globalization where the trend is moving towards paperless teaching materials. One of the solutions offered is to provide training in creating digital books based on flip builder pro which will produce a book display that can be accessed easily and can be downloaded for free by students just by "scanning the QR code and link". This training applies 3 method stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The products produced are not only digital books, but also books that can play videos and other audio-visual content. The content in the digital book can be filled with local historical material in Riau Province, or can be adapted to material at certain meetings. Apart from realizing digitalization in history learning, this is also a concern considering that local history plays an important role in the formation of great nations, and history also plays a role in shaping human existence. This service was carried out in Indragiri Hulu Regency based on an analysis of the minimum needs for providing learning facilities.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media teknologi pembelajaran kekinian masih kurang menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan game kuis edukasi yang berbentuk permainan terintegrasi dengan teknologi kekinian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Gaung dengan objek penelitian yaitu pengembangan game kuis edukasi dengan materi kerajaan hindu budha. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan RD dengan desain model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket validasi ahli, praktikalitas, dan soal tes yang dianalisis dengan statistic deskriptif. Hasil akhir produk didapatkan penilaian ahli validasi materi mencapai persentase kevalidan sebesar 85,00%, ahli media sebesar 88,57%. Tingkat kepraktisan produk berdasarkan perpektif guru mencapai  persentase kepraktisan sebesar 92,73% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dari respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mencapai persentase 88,73%, dan pada kelompok terbatas mencapai persentase 89,21%. Tingkat efektifitas produk tergolong efektif dengan rata-rata nilai N-Gain secara keseluruhan mencapai nilai sebesar 0,78 lebih besar 0,76.

Abstract

The Sang Nila Utama Museum was built in 1975 and operates to this day, storing thousands of collections inside. One of the interesting museum collections is the collection related to the Sakai tribe. The Sakai tribe, which is one of the indigenous tribes in Riau, has unique cultural riches and needs to be preserved. The representation carried out by the Sang Nila Utama museum in the use of preservation and educating visitors about the culture of the Sakai tribe is effective in attracting visitors. In its use, the museum not only functions as a collection storage place, but also as an education center. By studying the Sakai Tribe collection on display, visitors, especially the younger generation, can get to know their ancestral cultural heritage more closely.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) which helps students improve their reading skills in historical sources. This research uses the 4D research and development (R&D) method which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The sample of research subjects consisted of 3 material, media and language validator experts, 2 teachers, 60 and 120 class X students who assessed the practicality and effectiveness of the product being developed. Data was collected through expert validation, interviews with teachers, teacher and student response tests, and tests on students. while the N-Gain test is to evaluate media effectiveness. Expert validation results show that the criteria are very valid with an average score of 3.78. The teacher and student response test showed an average score of 3.90, which shows that AR media is practically used for learning history. The N-Gain Test score of 75% shows that students' ability to read historical sources is increasing. Therefore, using AR to develop historical source reading skills is feasible, practical, and useful.

Abstract

Asistensi Mengajar merupakan salah satu program dari Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka atau yang dikenal sebagai MBKM. Program ini dibuka dengan tujuan memberikan kesempatan mahasiswa belajar dengan mengembangkan diri di luar kampus melalui Asistensi Mengajar di satuan Pendidikan tingkat sekolah menengah di bawah bimbingan dosen pembibing lapangan. Metodologi pelaksanaan Asistensi Mengajar yang dilaksanakan mahasiswa Universitas Riau di SMAN 15 Pekanbaru adalah metode observasi, metode ini dipilih karena peneliti melihat objek yang diteliti secara langsung. Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan asistensi mengajar di SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru, mahasiswa asistensi telah berperan serta berpartisipasi dalam berbagai program yang ada di SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru baik akademik, non akademik, formal, maupun non-formal diantaranya yaitu: Mengajar, membuat perangkat pembelajran, berpartisipasi dalam administarsi yang ada disekolah, dan berpartisispasi disetiap kegiatan yang ada disekolah. Secara menyeluruh kegiatan Asistensi Mengajar yang dilaksanakan mahasiswa Universitas Riau berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

History represents a set of facts from the past events that were real and genuinely occurred in their time. Historical sources are crucial for reconstructing and generalizing history so that it can be comprehended by students. However, the limited availability of historical sources poses a significant challenge for students when learning history. This limitation can be addressed by utilizing museum websites as learning resources. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of museum websites as a learning resource for history education. Research and Development (R&D) methodology was employed in this study. The research sample consisted of 180 high school students selected from a population of 564 students in Pekanbaru City using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through observations, expert validation questionnaires, product trial questionnaires, and historical thinking skills tests. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively using t-tests to assess the impact of museum websites as a learning resource for students. The results indicated that the developed museum website was valid and reliable, and the t-test analysis showed a significant impact of the museum website as a history learning resource, with a significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05).

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah di kelas sering dianggap membosankan bagi siswa karena guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah, sehingga hasil belajar sejarah masih dalam kategori rendah. Untuk itu peneliti akan menerapkan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, interaktif, inofatif, dan tidak membosankan, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media evaluasi quizizz terhadap hasil belajar sejarah kelas X di SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media evaluasi quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas X di SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian kuantitatif pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas X DPIB 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas X TKJT 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan media evaluasi quizizz pada mata pelajaran sejarah terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai dari thitung = 2,078 dan ttabel = 2,001. Maka didapatkan bahwa thitung ≥ ttabel atau (2,078 ≥ 2,001), kemudian diambil keputusan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Besar pengaruh penggunaan media evaluasi quizizz sebasar 0,839 atau 83,9%. Perolehan nilai hasil belajar pretest dengan rata-rata 69,66 dengan kategori “sedang”, dan posttest mengalami peningkatan dengan prolehan rata-rata 84 kategori “baik”.
