Abstract

Dalam era dinamika perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang semakin cepat, pendidikan memiliki peran yang krusial dalam mempersiapkan generasi untuk menghadapi tantangan global yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan non-formal, sebagai upaya dalam mencetak generasi yang unggul dan berkualitas. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran deskriptif tentang fenomena ini, dengan mengacu pada sumber-sumber data dari studi kepustakaan. Data-data yang dianalisis berasal dari literatur-literatur yang relevan dengan pendidikan Islam dan manajemen pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang solutif, akurat, dan validatif dalam merespons dinamika pendidikan Islam dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the essay writing skills of third-grade students at SD Islam GUPPI, Southwest Papua, through the use of image-based learning media. Initial assessment showed an average writing score of 62.3, below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (70), indicating a gap between curriculum demands and students’ actual competence. Using a Classroom Action Research design with two cycles, this study involved 24 students and employed observation sheets, writing rubrics, and performance tests. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests and effect size measures. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ writing skills, increasing from 62.3 in the pre-cycle to 82.5 in the second cycle (t = 5.47, p < 0.05; Cohen’s d = 1.21). The findings support Bruner’s constructivist view that visual stimuli help students build meaning and organize ideas more effectively. The study concludes that image-based media is an effective strategy to enhance students’ imagination, motivation, and expressive ability in elementary writing instruction.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation between active participation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses and student behavior at Singaperbangsa University in Karawang. The background of this study is based on the importance of character building and positive student behavior in higher education amidst the challenges of the digital era and rapid social change, as well as the role of PAI in the process. The formulation of this research problem is to examine whether there is a positive correlation between students' activeness in attending PAI courses and their behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with survey method and correlational design, involving 81 undergraduate management students of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang who took PAI courses. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured their participation in PAI courses and various aspects of student behavior. The results of the analysis showed a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between active participation in PAI courses and student behavior (r = 0.605, p 0.01). This finding indicates that students who are more active in PAI courses tend to exhibit more positive behaviors. This article contributes to the theoretical understanding of the effectiveness of PAI in shaping student behavior, and provides practical implications for curriculum developers and PAI lecturers to improve the quality of learning to foster positive behavior in students.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Meanwhile, the approach taken by the researcher in this study is a case study approach. For data collection techniques, the researcher gathered data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings from the observations indicate that there has been no application of management functions at the Mathla’ul Anwar Batujaya Karawang Study Group, thus the researcher needs to address the issues present in that Study Group. Therefore, the study group, which is still managed traditionally, needs to improve its management for better effectiveness. The purpose of this research is to understand how to enhance the spiritual life of the community through the implementation of management functions at the Mathla’ul Anwar Study Group. The results of this study show that the role of the Mathla’ul Anwar Study Group in enhancing the spiritual life of the community is to instill an awareness of the importance of knowledge about religion. However, there are inhibiting factors that still need to be improved, namely the absence of a schedule and curriculum for the lessons that will be delivered by the preacher at each event. In addition, there is still a low level of awareness among the congregation in attending the study sessions. Therefore, the solution to overcome these obstacles is to implement management functions such as creating a plan regarding the schedule of study materials according to the applied learning curriculum.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam pada era kontemporer menghadapi tantangan kompleks yang berkaitan dengan tuntutan profesionalisme, akuntabilitas publik, serta keberagaman latar belakang profesional sumber daya manusia (SDM). Dalam praktiknya, keberagaman profesional SDM sering kali belum dikelola secara optimal karena desain organisasi yang masih bersifat administratif dan kurang adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis desain organisasi lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai instrumen strategis dalam mengelola keberagaman profesional SDM secara efektif dan bernilai Islami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) melalui analisis kritis terhadap literatur manajemen organisasi, manajemen sumber daya manusia, serta kajian manajemen pendidikan Islam. Data dianalisis secara tematik melalui tahapan reduksi, kategorisasi, dan sintesis konseptual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa desain organisasi yang jelas, adaptif, dan berbasis kompetensi mampu mengoptimalkan keberagaman profesional SDM sebagai modal strategis kelembagaan. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam, seperti amanah, keadilan, musyawarah, dan ihsan, ke dalam struktur, sistem kerja, dan budaya organisasi terbukti memperkuat profesionalisme SDM, kohesi organisasi, serta kinerja lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberagaman profesional SDM bukan merupakan hambatan struktural, melainkan potensi strategis yang dapat meningkatkan mutu, daya saing, dan keberlanjutan lembaga pendidikan Islam apabila dikelola melalui desain organisasi yang tepat.

Abstract

This study addresses the urgent concern in contemporary education regarding the weakening of student character due to the influence of external cultures and the growing tide of modernity that misaligns with Islamic values. In this context, the role of the murabbi becomes pivotal. The aim of this research is to analyze how teachers at SD Persatuan Islam (Persis) Karawang implement their role as murabbi in shaping students’ character based on Islamic educational philosophy. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving homeroom teachers, Islamic religious education teachers, principals, and purposively selected students. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and verified through triangulation and credibility measures. The findings reveal that teachers consistently integrate Islamic values into the learning process and school life through exemplary conduct, value habituation, and spiritual mentoring. In conclusion, the holistic implementation of the murabbi role proves effective in fostering Islamic character among students and offers a replicable model for Islamic-based character education at the elementary level. This study contributes by offering a conceptual framework of the murabbi role rooted in Islamic educational philosophy and grounded in empirical findings from elementary school settings.

Abstract

Manajemen kurikulum ganda merupakan tugas kompleks yang memerlukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang cermat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen kurikulum ganda terhadap kualitas pendidikan di SDS Al-Hikmah Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui survei dan dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari manajemen kurikulum ganda terhadap kualitas pendidikan di SDS Al-Hikmah Indonesia. Koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,786, yang berarti 78,6% pengaruh terhadap kualitas pendidikan dijelaskan oleh manajemen kurikulum ganda. Sisanya 21,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum ganda dapat menjadi cara efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Namun, penting untuk dicatat bahwa ada sejumlah faktor lain yang juga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan, seperti kualitas guru, motivasi siswa, dan dukungan orang tua.
