Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara gaya belajar dan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X-4 SMA Negeri 1 Tapa pada materi SPLTV. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa angket dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan uji t untuk menentukan signifikansi hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Hasil dari analisis mengindikasikan bahwa lebih besar dibandingkan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan hasil ini, hipotesis nol yang menyatakan tidak adanya keterkaitan antara metode pembelajaran gaya belajar dan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa ditolak, sementara hiptesis alternatif yang menyatakan adanya hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut diterima.

Abstract

This study is part of a broader (umbrella) research project conducted by three researchers, consisting of development, experimental, and descriptive studies. This tudy aims to describe the results of implementing a Quizizz-based Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) on the topic of arithmetic sequences and series in Grade X at Vocational High School State 1 Bulango Selatan. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method. The population consisted of all Grade X students of Vocational High School State 1 Bulango Selatan in the 2023/2024 academic year, comprising four classes with a total of 87 students. The sample was selected using Cluster Random Sampling through a lottery method among the four classes, and Class X ASKEP A was chosen as the sample. The findings indicate that the use of the Quizizz-based E-LKPD received a positive response from students. This is reflected in the student response questionnaire results, which reached 94.5%, indicating that most students felt assisted in understanding arithmetic sequences and series, and were more motivated and engaged during the mathematics learning process. Therefore, this media can serve as an innovative alternative for implementing digital-based learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module on probability material for eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Plomp model, which includes preliminary investigation, design, product development, testing and revision, and limited implementation. The research subjects consisted of two material experts, one media expert, one mathematics teacher, and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques.The results showed that the interactive e-module was categorized as very valid by material experts with a percentage of 98%, and valid by media experts with 81.54%. Teacher and student responses reached 89.17% and 87.78%, respectively, indicating very positive responses. Therefore, the interactive e-module on probability material is valid, practical, and suitable for use in mathematics learning for eighth-grade junior high school students..

Abstract

This study is directed at the development of a digital learning resource in the form of a mathematics e-module utilizing the Flip PDF application, specifically designed to accommodate the learning tendencies of students with a phlegmatic personality type on fraction topics at the junior high school level. The product development employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE framework, which consists of needs analysis, design planning, product creation, classroom implementation, and outcome evaluation stages. The research participants were seventh-grade students of SMP/MTs at MTs Nurul Bahri Kabila Bone who were identified as having phlegmatic personality characteristics. Data collection techniques included product feasibility assessments conducted by subject-matter experts and media experts, questionnaires capturing teacher and student responses, as well as personality identification instruments based on Florence Littauer’s theory. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results indicate that the developed e-module achieved a very high level of feasibility, as evidenced by average validation scores of 3.40 from media experts and 3.60 from subject-matter experts. Practicality testing showed that teachers provided a perfect response rate of 100%, categorized as very practical, while student responses reached 85.49%, categorized as practical. Therefore, the Flip PDF–based mathematics e-module developed in this study is considered feasible, practical, and effective for use as a learning resource to support fraction learning for junior high school students with a phlegmatic personality type.

Abstract

This research is survey research using correlation techniques whics aims to determine the correlation between learning styles and cognitive ability on circle material. This research was conducted at grade VIII students of Junior High School SMP Negeri 2 Limboto, Gorontalo regency, 2017/2018 academic year with a sample of 119 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and test. The questionnaire is to obtain learning style data, while the test is to obtain students’ cognitive ability data on circle material. Further, the hypothesis is tested using regression and correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it is shown that there was a positive correlation between learning styles and cognitive ability on circle material at grade VIII of Junior High School SMP Negeri 2 Limboto, Gorontalo regency. The contribution of learning styles given to students’ cognitive ability on circle material is 9.14%. This value shows the influence given by the learning style of students’ cognitive ability. The result provides information that the lack of selecting and understanding of each student’s learning style influences the level of cognitive abilities, especially on circle material even though the contribution is given is 9.14%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Cooperative Learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by Baamboozle media on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of Algebraic Expressions. The study employed an experimental method using a Post-test Only Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 21 students from class VII-C as the experimental group and 20 students from class VII-D as the control group, selected through a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using a cognitive learning outcomes test and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the calculated t-value (t = 3.275) was greater than the critical t-value (t = 1.68488) at the 0.05 significance level, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Furthermore, the effect size calculated using Cohen’s d formula was 1.023, which falls into the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by Baamboozle media has a significant positive effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of Algebraic Expressions among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa. Abstract

This study aims to produce an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) utilizing a Deep Learning approach for the statistics unit in Grade X at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo, ensuring it meets validity and practicality criteria. The study is motivated by students' low mathematical thinking skills and a lack of interactive teaching materials capable of visualizing statistical concepts in a contextual manner, which hinders students' understanding of the subject matter. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, specifically the 4D development model, which comprises four main stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data collection instruments included validation questionnaires for media and subject matter experts, as well as student and teacher response questionnaires to assess the product's practicality. The trial subjects were Grade X students at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo. The results indicate that the Deep Learning-based E-LKPD met the validity criteria according to expert evaluators, following recommended adjustments to content and layout. Assessments of practicality based on user/student and teacher response questionnaires also yielded positive results, categorizing the material as "Highly Practical" for use in the learning process. Consequently, the developed E-LKPD has been proven suitable, valid, and practical as an innovative teaching resource for statistics.
