Abstract

The problem of national food security is something that needs to be addressed sustainably by society and the government, especially in rural areas. To support food availability for the community, land is needed that can be used for food development. One alternative is to use the yard of the house. Home gardens not only function as areas that provide beauty and coolness, but also as productive land that supports national food security by empowering local potential, both in rural and urban areas. Apart from that, the use of the yard also contributes to improving the family's economy. This research aims to examine the characteristics of residents regarding the use of homestead land in rural areas, analyze their utilization patterns, and assess the effectiveness of using homestead land in supporting food availability. The data in this research were analyzed using an experimental method, which involved initial measurements (pre-test), providing treatment in the form of guidance or direction regarding land use, and follow-up measurements (post-test). The research sample was selected using the snowball sampling method, namely a sampling technique based on individual networks. The research results show that the use of yard land is effective in supporting food availability. This is shown by the respondent's answer score on the program effectiveness variable, which is in the range of 50-100%, so it is included in the effective category

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the influence of organisational culture on turnover intention at Protech Dry Cleaning & Laundry Makassar. The population in this study were all employees of Protech Dry Cleaning & Laundry Makassar. sampling in this study was carried out using the census technique so that 83 respondents were sampled. The type of research used is quantitative. The data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees. The data analysis method uses simple linear regression. The results of the study that organisational commitment partially has a significant effect on turnover intention. This is evidenced by organisational culture (X) showing a tcount value of 3.711. In addition, the significance value (Sig.) is 0.003. This result shows that the tcount value is greater than the ttable value (3.462> 1.98932) and the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). The Adjusted R square result is 0.526, which indicates that 52.6% of the variability of turnover intention can be explained by the aggregate effect of the Organisational Culture variable. The remaining variability of 47.4% is due to other variables not observed within the scope of this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal stock portfolio performance on the LQ45 stock index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period February 2019- December 2022. The data analysis method uses a single index model to form an optimal portfolio and uses the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen index methods to assess performance stock portfolio. Based on the results of the analysis of optimal portfolio formation, it shows that out of 30 samples of LQ45 index stocks, 8 stocks were obtained which included optimal portfolio stocks, namely ERB values > C*, namely ADRO, ANTM, BBCA, BRPT, INCO, INDY, ITMG, & MEDC stocks. the results of the stock portfolio performance appraisal analysis show that of the three portfolio performance appraisal index methods, the calculation of stock performance analysis, the average value of the Sharpe method is 0.1241, while the treynor method is 0.0112, and the Jensen method is 0.0334. The highest performance of the third method is the Sharpe method with an average performance value of 0.1241. So the Sharpe method is the best performance method compared to the Treynor and Jensen methods. The higher the Sharpe index value, the better the performance of the stock portfolio.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze online sales collaboration with traditional market traders in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, and its impact on economic welfare. Along with the development of information technology, many traditional traders have difficulty competing with the modern market. Therefore, collaboration between traditional market traders and online sales platforms is considered an effective solution to increase competitiveness and income. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with a number of traditional market traders and online sales platform owners. The research results show that this collaboration not only increases market access for traders, but also helps them understand broader consumer behavior. Merchants involved in this collaboration reported significant increases in sales turnover and customer satisfaction. In addition, this research also identifies challenges faced by merchants in adapting new technology, including a lack of understanding of digital marketing and limited access to technological tools. Therefore, training and mentoring are important to ensure the success of this collaboration. By strengthening trader capacity, economic welfare can increase sustainably. Overall, online sales collaboration with traditional market traders in Gowa Regency has proven to have a positive impact on economic prosperity. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for local government policies in supporting digital transformation for the traditional trade sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze sustainable entrepreneurship practices implemented by PT. Semen Tonasa, including an assessment of the programs that have been implemented, as well as innovations applied in the process and management of resources. And also aims to analyze the impact of community empowerment programs carried out by the company. This study will explore how these programs affect community welfare, both economically and socially, and to provide recommendations that can be used by PT. Semen Tonasa in developing effective empowerment programs in the future by identifying existing challenges and opportunities, it is hoped that the company can continue to contribute to sustainable development in the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The results of the study indicate that PT. Semen Tonasa has succeeded in implementing sustainable entrepreneurship practices that have a positive impact on community empowerment. The programs implemented not only improve community skills but also create new jobs and reduce environmental impacts. However, there are still challenges that need to be overcome so that these programs can run more effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the digital transformation of women entrepreneurs in Makassar City with a focus on analyzing opportunities and challenges from a gender perspective. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, this study analyzed data from various primary and secondary sources for the period 2019-2024. The results showed a significant increase in the adoption of digital technology among women entrepreneurs from 15% to 52%. The main challenges identified include limited access to capital, digital literacy gaps, and socio-cultural factors. The fashion and craft sectors dominate the digital women entrepreneur landscape (35%), followed by culinary (30%). This study identified four key factors for the success of digital transformation: digital skills, business networks, product innovation, and market access. Women entrepreneurs who successfully adopted digital technology recorded an average increase in income of 35%. This study provides strategic recommendations for the development of gender-responsive policies and empowerment programs to support the digital transformation of women entrepreneurs in Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh stres kerja. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup individu yang jumlahnya tidak diketahui secara pasti. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh atau sensus, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 45 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:  Beban kerja berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Beban kerja berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap stres kerja. (3) Stres kerja berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Stres kerja berpengaruh secara tidak langsung antara beban kerja dan kinerja dengan nilai sebesar 0.312, P-value sebesar 0.014, dan  t-ststistikpositif sebesar 2.465 sehingga hipotesis dinyatakan ditrima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi melalui motivasi kerja pada Pengurus Organisasi Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen Universitas Negeri Makassar (PMK UNM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaitif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Badan Pengurus PMK UNM Periode 2024-2025 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 46 responden yang dipilih menggunakan sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, namun beban kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Selain itu, motivasi kerja juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Temuan lainnya membuktikan bahwan motivasi kerja terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara beban kerja terhadap komitmen kerja, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi kerja memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat komitmen organisasi meskipun dengan beban kerja yang tinggi.

Abstract

In recent decades, entrepreneurship has become one of the main pillars of economic development, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Makassar City, as one of the economic centers in Eastern Indonesia, has an important role in encouraging the growth of the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. One of the efforts made by the government and various institutions is to develop a Business Incubator Program, which aims to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs through educational support, training, and guidance. In Makassar District, Bara-Baraya Timur Village, the development of local entrepreneurs is getting more attention. Business incubators in this area offer programs to help local entrepreneurs develop business skills, increase access to capital, and open wider networks. Although business incubators have proven successful in various countries, their implementation in each region can certainly provide different results, depending on the characteristics of the economic and social environment. In Bara-Baraya Timur Village, there are several challenges faced by one of the local entrepreneurs interviewed by the researcher, such as lack of management skills, and increasingly tight competition. Therefore, the researcher decided to conduct further research on “The influence of business incubators on the entrepreneurial economy in Makassar City, Bara-Baraya Timur Village”.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze investment decisions on LQ45 index stocks for the period 2017-2021 using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) method. This type of quantitative research is descriptive. The population in this study are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample is all company shares listed in the LQ45 index for the period February 2017-December 2021, namely 67 company shares. Data collection techniques used are literature and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). The results showed that the systematic risk and the expected rate of return have a linear relationship and there are 26 company shares which are included in efficient shares and 41 company shares which include inefficient shares.
