Abstract

This study discusses the curriculum development strategy at Jamiah Islam Sheikh Daud Al-Fathani (JISDA), Yala, Southern Thailand. The main focus of this study is to analyze the strategies implemented in the development of the curriculum to suit the needs of modern education and maintain Islamic principles. A qualitative approach is used in this study, with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that JISDA adapts various innovative strategies that combine religious and general science, and pays attention to local and global relevance. The main challenges faced are limited resources and adaptation to changes in Thailand's national education policy. This research provides recommendations for the development of a more responsive and sustainable curriculum in the future

Abstract

Conflict management is a crucial aspect of improving educational quality, particularly in community-based schools like (SAI) Cipedak. Despite fostering a strong sense of belonging, conflicts frequently arise between parents and school management. This study aims to analyze the collaborative strategies implemented by the principal of SAI Cipedak to effectively resolve conflicts. A qualitative approach, employing document analysis and interviews, was used to identify conflict causes, evaluate their impact, and assess the effectiveness of applied strategies. The findings reveal that the collaborative approach successfully addressed conflicts over budget allocation and differing parental expectations. This strategy enhanced transparency, trust, and collaboration among stakeholders, as evidenced by parent satisfaction surveys showing improvements in the learning environment and educational quality. However, the approach requires significant time and advanced mediation skills. The study recommends mediation training, the use of digital platforms, and the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) to support conflict resolution and holistic educational quality improvement. By leveraging conflicts as opportunities for innovation, SAI Cipedak can strengthen its community and achieve sustainable educational excellence. ABSTRAKManajemen konflik merupakan aspek penting dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan, terutama di sekolah berbasis komunitas seperti  (SAI) Cipedak. Konflik antara orang tua dan manajemen sekolah sering terjadi, meskipun model ini menciptakan rasa memiliki yang kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kolaboratif yang diterapkan kepala sekolah SAI Cipedak dalam menyelesaikan konflik secara efektif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan analisis dokumen dan wawancara untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab konflik, mengevaluasi dampaknya, serta menilai efektivitas strategi yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kolaboratif berhasil menyelesaikan konflik terkait alokasi anggaran dan perbedaan ekspektasi orang tua. Strategi ini meningkatkan transparansi, kepercayaan, dan kolaborasi antara pihak-pihak yang terlibat, terbukti dari survei kepuasan orang tua terhadap lingkungan belajar yang menunjukkan peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Namun, pendekatan ini membutuhkan waktu lebih lama dan keterampilan mediasi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan mediasi, pemanfaatan platform digital, dan penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) untuk mendukung penyelesaian konflik dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan memanfaatkan konflik sebagai peluang inovasi, SAI Cipedak dapat memperkuat komunitasnya dan mencapai keunggulan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine the impact of school principals' situational leadership on improving teachers' learning competencies in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The research employs a literature review method, analyzing various journal articles, books, and relevant academic literature. The criteria for selecting literature include alignment with the research topic, recentness of data (within the last five years), source credibility, and relevance to the context of education in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The findings reveal that situational leadership practices significantly enhance teachers' professionalism and adaptability. Leadership styles such as telling, selling, participating, and delegating effectively address the individual needs of teachers, encouraging them to develop pedagogical, technological, and digital literacy competencies. Furthermore, school principals play a crucial role in facilitating teacher development through key strategies, including technology-based training programs, strengthening the use of virtual reality in learning, developing electronic learning modules (E-Modules), and enhancing teachers' digital literacy. These strategies not only equip teachers to face challenges in the digital era but also contribute to sustaining high-quality education. ABSTRAKArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pengaruh kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pembelajaran guru di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang melibatkan analisis berbagai artikel jurnal, buku, dan literatur ilmiah relevan. Kriteria pemilihan literatur mencakup kesesuaian dengan topik penelitian, keterkinian data (5 tahun terakhir), kredibilitas sumber, serta relevansi konteks pendidikan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan kepemimpinan situasional memiliki dampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme dan adaptabilitas guru. Gaya kepemimpinan seperti telling, selling, participating, dan delegating terbukti mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan individual guru, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik, teknologi, dan literasi digital. Selain itu, kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan guru melalui strategi utama, seperti pelatihan berbasis teknologi, penguatan penggunaan media pembelajaran virtual reality, pengembangan modul pembelajaran elektronik (E-Modul), serta pengasahan literasi digital. Strategi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital, tetapi juga memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that focuses on electricity generation, in the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) section there are activities that have a high risk to the safety and health of workers, especially in the Chemical Handling and Loading process where there are hazardous chemicals. The activity is a Chemical Loading process where the potential hazards identified include 60% chemical and 40% physical hazards. In Chemical Loading there are materials that are strong bases with a pH above 7. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to identify potential hazards at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and calculate risk levels according to severity (consequences) and frequency (likelihood). Using the HIRADC method aimed at company management and JSA aimed at operators. Data was obtained from interviews with 3 operators and company data. The results showed that in the process of operating the Water Treatment Plant there are 31 hazards (hazards) with 1 hazard categorized as high risk shows point 9, namely in the chemical handling & loading process which comes from corrosive chemicals that can cause burns. The control effort given is engineering in the form of providing hose clamps to prevent leakage.

Abstract

Phonetic difficulties remain a significant barrier for non-native Arabic learners, especially in mastering the pronunciation and articulation of certain Arabic phonemes. While previous research has focused on traditional memorization or memorization methods, there has been limited exploration into student-centered creative approaches such as singing. Many students have difficulty remembering and actively using Arabic vocabulary in everyday conversation. This can hinder their understanding of Islamic religious texts and literature, which is mostly written in Arabic. Often, the traditional memorization process is considered boring and less engaging for students resulting in their low motivation to learn. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of innovative singing methods in overcoming phonetic challenges faced by Arabic-speaking students at the Nurul Chotib Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The locus is the Nurul Chotib Islamic Boarding School, where data is collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and audio recordings of pronunciation exercises. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, coding, and thematic interpretation to identify the impact of the singing method. The findings show that integrating melodies into Arabic pronunciation lessons significantly improves students' articulation and phonetic accuracy. Its novelty lies in the application of culturally relevant and engaging methods that increase retention and motivation. In conclusion, the main lesson that can be taken from this study is that including music in the learning process can make memorization activities more fun and effective. In addition, the contribution of this method can increase students' motivation to be more actively involved in learning, as well as strengthen their memory. Therefore, the singing method can be considered a useful alternative to improve the quality of language and religion learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Data collection techniques used in this study include structured interviews, observation and documentation with the data subject of the MI Madrasah principal Alhikmah Ngareskidul Gedeg Mojokerto. Data analysis was carried out during data collection, and after collection within a certain period. As a test of the validity of the data, a credibility test is used or a trust test for the data presented by the research results. The results of the study indicate that supervision has been carried out in teacher performance and the learning process at MI Alhikmah Ngareskidul Gedeg Mojokerto supervision of attendance discipline, learning planning discipline, learning implementation discipline, and learning outcomes assessment discipline. In addition, the principal has also carried out supervision in the completeness of teacher administration and the ability of teachers to master the use of information technology. Supervision of the learning process includes monitoring the planning, implementation and assessment of learning. As a suggestion, school principals are expected to play a more active role in Madrasah Working Groups (KKM) and motivate teachers to be more active in participating in KKG (Teacher Working Group) activities.

Abstract

Based on the results of data source analysis, it is known that the foreign language competency establishment program focuses on the English and Arabic learning programs. The program is divided into co-curricular, intra-curricular, and extracurricular. Co-curricular activities stand in the form of habituation, which is the English morning program for Class X, also Muhadatsah Lughatil Arabiya and Shobahul Lughah for Class XI. Intra-curricular is filled with English and Arabic language subjects. Meanwhile, extracurricular activities include English Specialization Class and Arabic Specialization Class. The IT competency establishment program is also divided into three types of activities. Co-curricular for Class X in the form of Microsoft Office Training and 2D & 3D Design Training for Class XI. Intra-curricular is filled with learning Multimedia: Graphic Design & Video Editing for Class X and Mobile Programming learning for Class XI. IT Specialization Class is an extracurricular activity in the field of Information Technology. In addition, students also take part in workshops and competitions according to their interests. Students have mastered each competency as evidenced by portfolio results in the form of pamphlet designs, photography results, short video editing and foreign language learning videos, and also participated in a speech contest

Abstract

. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The object of this research was carried out at MA Plus Al Hikam Sumedang. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in this study included the head of the Madrasah, the coordinator of the tahfidz field, the teacher's council, and one of the students. The analytical techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The triangulation used to test the validity of the data is technique and source triangulation. The results of the study revealed the findings that (1) the strategy of the head of the madrasa in shaping the quality of tahfidz students at MA Plus Al Hikam Sumedang designed the tahfidz program to become local content learning, students participated in the tahfidzul Qur'an program to make educational institutions Islamic, superior and ideal, determining target memorization and schedule of tahfidz al-qur'an activities for students. In addition, implementing the tahfidz al-Qur'an program uses a target system of one page in one deposit by memorizing at least five juz for one year. Students use the talaqiq method in memorizing the Qur'an, and students memorize five juz as an obligation in carrying out the Kubro exam. (2) The results of evaluating the quality of tahfidz for MA Plus Al-Hikam students can maintain public trust in madrasas, as one of the leading activity programs in each of these madrasas and students are always able to read and memorize the Qur'an properly and correctly under the rules of reading the Koran, and can make the Koran as a guide in his life.

Abstract

ملخص : اللغة العربية أفضل اللغات وأوسمها. لها الخصائص والمميزات تميزت بها عن غيرها من اللغة الأخرى. وقد تميزت اللغة العربية بميزات وخصائص انفردت بها عن سائر اللغات فى النواحي التاريخية والدينية والثقافة، فضلا عن النواحي اللغوية من أصوات وصرف ونحو ودلالة وبلاغة. من النواحي التاريخية  تعد اللغة العربية من اللغات العريقة، الموغلة فى القدم، بل إنها أم اللغات وأقدمها. ومن النواحي الدينية والثقافية أن اللغة العربية لغة مقدسة فى الأديان السماوية السابقة لدين الإسلام. ومن اللغوية خصائص كثيرة مثل الخصائص الصوتية، الخصائص الصرفية، الخصائص النحوية، الخصائص المعجمية والدلالية. واللغة العربية الفصحى تميزت من اللغة المولدة هو الإعراب. والعربية الفصحى تغدو لغة الأدب والثقافة. اللغة العربية الفصحى هي اللغة القرأن الكريم الذى انزل إلى نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم هدى للناس، وهي أفصح اللغة العربية. واللغة العربية هيالوسيلة لحفظ التراث العقائدي والثقافي للأمة العربية الإسـلامية.الكلمات المفتاحية : العربية الفصحى، خصائص اللغة العربية، مكانة

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah suatu norma dan persiapan untuk berperan dalam masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Banyak hal yang memengaruhi mutu pendidikan, dan yang paling berpengaruh adalah tenaga pengajar atau guru. Mengingat pentingnya posisi guru, diperlukan sistem evaluasi yang dapat mencerminkan kualitas pengajaran, yaitu penilaian kinerja guru (PKG), yang selanjutnya akan digunakan untuk pengembangan dan pelatihan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) pendidikan. Ini dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa kualitas guru terjaga. MSDM pendidikan yang berbasis PKG di SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang Selatan bertujuan untuk memelihara serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru. Penilaian diarahkan pada empat kemampuan guru beserta indikator yang menunjukkan mutu kinerja mereka secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif. Data dihimpun melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan kepala sekolah sebagai pelaksana MSDM dan PKG, serta guru yang menjadi subjeknya. Dokumentasi mencakup data dari hasil PKG, dan observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati kegiatan belajar mengajar. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai guru di SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang Selatan berdasarkan PKG tergolong baik. Namun, terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam aspek pedagogik dan profesionalisme. Kekurangan-kekurangan tersebut ditindaklanjuti melalui MSDM pendidikan, yang mencakup pengembangan guru melalui lokakarya, pelatihan kurikulum, seminar, peran KKG, serta peningkatan kualifikasi akademis. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kualitas pengajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang Selatan dapat terus mengalami peningkatan.
