Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the influence the professional competence of teachers for teaching social studies in SMP Palu. The method used is survey with descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The population in this study are all teachers IPS certified in Palu City Junior High School, as many as 116 people. Number of samples are 58 people using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using Likert scale model questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data in this study using Normality Test Instruments, Test Analysis Coefficient of Determination, Validity Test Instruments, Test Reliability Test Instruments and Descriptive. Meanwhile, hypotheses using simple regression test. The results showed two-normally distributed variables to test for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test and Analysis of reliability for variables X and Y calculated by Cronbach alpha formula. While on the significance test using the t test and F test at significance level with a value of α = 0.05. The results showed there is a positive and significant impact on the professional competence of learning with linear regression equation Y = 11.032 + 0,954X2 with a percentage of 29.2% significance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan pendidikan mitigasi bencana dalam proses efektifitas penyaluran bantuan korban bencana alam pada organisasi sosial Taruna Siaga Bencana dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung serta alternatif pemecahannya. Dasar Penelitian ini survey dan tipe penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara umum tentang peranan pendidikan mitigasi bencana pada organisasi sosial Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) yang berkaitan dengan koordinasi serta efektifitas dalam penyaluran bantuan korban bencana alam. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan Anggota Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) serta masyarakat yang terkena bencana alam sehingga populasi berjumlah 1850 orang dan penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling yaitu sebagian dari populasi, maka sampel berjumlah 45 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualtatif yang menggunakan tabel frekuensi dan tabel presentasi. Hasil Penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa peranan pendidikan mitigasi bencana dalam proses pemberian bantuan kepada korban bencana sudah dapat dikategorikan baik yang dapat dilihat dari kerjasama, mekanisme dan komunikasi Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) dalam penanggulangan bencana sudah masuk kategori baik. Namun, pelaporan yang dilakukan oleh Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) terhadap jumlah korban bencana dilapangan masih kurang sesuai

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of teacher certification policies in improving the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 6 Palolo and the inhibiting, supporting factors and alternative solutions. The basis of the research is a survey, while the type of research is descriptive qualitative which is intended to provide a general description of the object under study. In this study, the authors set the 6 Sigi State Senior High School as the research location. The population in this study was 646 (six hundred and forty six) people. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique and the results of this study will be presented using tools in the form of frequency tables and percentage tables. The results of this study indicate that communication, bureaucratic structure that causes good input and output so as to produce quality students in the sense of having adequate skills and knowledge after graduating from Palolo 6 Public High School and being able to compete with other schools to enter higher education. However, resources and dispositions that affect the learning process. In this case, the attitude, nature or characteristics of the teacher are not good in terms of obedience and accuracy of entry at the time of teaching so that the quality of learning is of less quality due to the hours of learning that are not in accordance with the specified. Abstract

Iin Irawati, Taufiq Eka Riandhana, Nur Halifah, 2022. The Effect of Motivation on Learning Achievement of Class XI Social Studies Students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The purpose of the study was to obtain information about whether there is an influence of motivation on student achievement in class XI I IPS in SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method. The population is 133 students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The number of research samples as many as 57 people using the Proportional Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a Likert scale model questionnaire, Observation, Interview and Documentation. Data analysis techniques are first to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the results of the analysis of the implications of motivation research on learning achievement had a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation. The motivation of students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu Class XI IPS can be said to be good with a percentage of 63.44%. The motivation that arises in students cannot be separated from the teacher himself. A student learns because it is driven by mental strength in the form of desire, attention, will, or ideals, and this mental strength can be classified as low and high depending on the teacher's efforts to encourage students and give awards so that students feel able to become even better.
