Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pemahaman bangun datar dengan pemahaman konsep prisma dan limas pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V atau VI sekolah dasar yang telah mempelajari materi bangun datar dan bangun ruang sisi datar. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep yang terdiri atas dua bagian, yaitu tes pemahaman bangun datar dan tes pemahaman prisma serta limas. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment serta analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tingkat penguasaan masing-masing variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah mampu mengidentifikasi bangun datar dengan baik, namun pemahaman mereka masih cenderung bersifat prosedural. Pada materi prisma dan limas, siswa mengalami kesulitan terutama dalam menentukan luas alas yang berpengaruh pada perhitungan luas permukaan dan volume. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman bangun datar dan pemahaman konsep prisma serta limas. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penguasaan konsep bangun datar merupakan prasyarat fundamental dalam memahami bangun ruang sisi datar. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran geometri di sekolah dasar perlu dirancang secara bertahap, sistematis, dan terintegrasi agar pemahaman konseptual siswa berkembang secara optimal.

Abstract

Abstrak Perbedaan sistem pendidikan terletak pada pendidikan vokasi. Pendidikan tinggi juga dilaksanakan di universitas sama dengan di Indonesia. Ada banyak universitas di Thailand, salah satunya adalah Jamiah Islam Syeikh Daud al-Fathoni (JISDA) yang dibawa naungan yayasan Muassasah ats-Tsaqofah Islamiyah Yala Haji Harun. JISDA juga merupakan salah satu alternatif perguruan tinggi bagi masyarakat umum yang tidak mampu melanjutkan kuliah di berbagai universitas negeri yang ada di Thailand. JISDA didirikan oleh Yayasan Muassasah Assaqafah Al –Islamiyah Yala, dengan nama Program Diploma Tarbiyah-Ma’had al-Bi’that Ad-diniyah. Pada tahun 1998 berubah nama menjadi Kuliah Tarbiyah Islamiyah dengan Program Diploma Tarbiyah dan Program Sarjana Tarbiyah. Pada tahun 2000 berubah nama menjadi kuliah Syeikh Daud Al Fathoni yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) fakultas yaitu Fakultas Tarbiyah,Fakultas Syariah dan Fakultas Ushuluddin. Pada tahun 2001 berubah lagi menjadi Jami’ah Syeikh Daun Al Fathoni ( JISDA) yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) jurusan yaitu Fakultas Tarbiyah, Fakultas Syariah, Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Lughatil Arabiyah (bahasa arab) yang akan berkembang lagi sesuai kebutuhan dimasa yang akan datang. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan 95% kegiatan yang telah tercapai. Melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada Mitra tentang kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tentang program PKM ini. Sosialisasi program telah dilaksankan secara bertahap yaitu di Kampus JISDA Provinsi Yala Thailand selaku pihak yang berkaitan erat dengan kegiatan ini. Kemudian sosialisasi kepada masyarakat (Mahasiswa/i) melalui perwakilan masing-masing kelas dan tingkatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana dari dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah serta dosen dan mahasiswa JISDA

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration in Project-Based Learning (PjBL) within a Basic Science Concepts course, specifically focusing on the paradox between student perceptions and actual learning performance. A quantitative comparative design was employed, involving pre-service teachers divided into AI-reliant and non-AI groups. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and project product assessment rubrics, then analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test. The results reveal a significant disparity: while the AI group reported significantly higher perceptions of learning effectiveness and teamwork satisfaction, their actual product quality and conceptual depth in science were lower than those of the non-AI group. This suggests that AI integration may create an illusion of competence, where ease of information access reduces the depth of critical inquiry and collaborative synthesis. The study concludes that AI should function as a guided cognitive tool rather than a primary source in science education. These findings offer critical implications for educators to design AI-integrated PjBL that prioritizes conceptual understanding over technological convenience.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand physics subjects which are considered difficult, including the difficulties experienced namely visualizing subject matter which requires learning models and media as support to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at MA Muallimin UNIVA Medan, by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Solar System Scope media on Kepler law material integrated with the Koran which is used in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes. The research method used is experimentation which is a type of quantitative research in class X MIA 1 as an experimental class with a Probe Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a written test (essay) with 10 questions. It is known that the pretest and posttest data are normally distributed with a significance value of Experimental Pretest (0.078), Experimental Posttest (0.130), Control Pretest (0.200), Control Posttest (0.052) and are declared homogeneous with a significance value of Based on Mean (0.245) where the test value normality and homogeneity exceed (>) the real level used in the measurement, namely α = 0.05 or 5%. With the help of SPSS it is known that the average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class (83.07) are higher than those in the control class (79.90) so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted and the average of the experimental class is stated to be better than the average of the control class. As for the effectiveness of the experimental class with the PBL (Problem Based learning) model, it was 76.6% and the control class with the Direct Instruction learning model was 54.4%, where the experimental class was declared effective and the control class was declared less effective.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Learning Management System (LMS) media developed using Google Sites for teaching Optical Instrument material to Class XI students at SMAS Istiqlal Delitua. The study focuses on the development of an LMS to enhance students' learning interest. The subjects of this research were 29 students from Class XI IPA 1. The research adopted the ADDIE model for development. The results revealed that the LMS is highly feasible as a learning medium. Assessments by material and media experts yielded average feasibility scores of 93.3% and 91.2%, respectively, both categorized as "Very Good." Student and teacher responses to the Google Sites-based LMS demonstrated a high level of practicality and interest, with an average response score of 91.5%, classified as "Very Practical/Interesting." The effectiveness test, based on pretest and posttest comparisons, indicated significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. The t-test result showed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (<0.05), confirming a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The average N-Gain score was 0.62, categorized as "Effective." In conclusion, the Google Sites-based LMS is valid, practical, and effective, significantly enhancing students' understanding and interest in learning Optical Instrument material.
