This type of research is qualitative using a qualitative descriptive approach. The focus of this research is romance in the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar. The aim of this research is to describe the romance contained in the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar. The object of this research is the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar. The instrument used in this research was the researcher himself because the researcher collected, analyzed and concluded the data. The data collection techniques in this research used listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The data source in this research is the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar, and the data in this research are words or sentences, either narrative or dialogue, in the novel that contain romance in the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar. The results of this research found that romanticism in literary works consists of seven feelings of romantic emotion, namely the concept of guilt, buried guilt, self-punishment, shame, sadness, hatred and love

This study discusses the Use of Sarcasm Style of Language Towards Jokowi in the Comments Column of the @Folkative Account in March and April 2022. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of sarcasm style of language found in the comments column of the re-upload of Mr. Jokowi's statement on the @folkative account in March and April 2022. This study is qualitative with a descriptive method. The instrument used is the researcher himself and is supported by an analysis guideline table that helps researchers to summarize the data obtained. The data in this study are in the form of dialogue quotes or sentences from the film Perempuan Tanah Jahanam by Joko Anwar. The data collection technique used to obtain research data uses the listening and note-taking technique. The analysis technique of this study uses a narrative analysis method and is more conceptual to find, identify, process and analyze documents to find out the form and understand the meaning, and its relevance. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the form of sarcasm style of language found in the comments column of the re-upload of Mr. Jokowi's statement on the @folkative account in March and April 2022 was 10, namely: ) rejection; (2) conveying prohibitions; (3) conveying orders; (4) conveying information; (5) conveying affirmations; (6) conveying questions; (7) conveying comparisons; (8) conveying similarities; (9) conveying opinions; (10) greetings. The most dominant forms of rejection and conveying opinions were found, netizens or users commented on the Folkative Instagram account in March and April 2022 to Jokowi. They commented with harsh words that were inappropriate for the Head of State.

This research aims to find and describe the toponymic aspects of village names in Lingga District, Lingga Regency. The object of this research is the name of the village in Lingga District, Lingga Regency which was obtained from informants. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, recording, noting, interviews, and discourse transfer. The data analysis technique is carried out using recorded data obtained from interviews with informants, roughly transcribed in written language, then the data that has been roughly transcribed is then refined, the results of the refinement are adjusted again to the recording results, after the data transcript is perfected, the words and sentences those which are still unclear are given punctuation and other necessary marks, after the transcript is complete, typing is carried out, after obtaining data from the field, the information is transcribed perfectly, translated into Indonesian, and after the oral information is completed it is transcribed and translated perfectly into written language, analysis is carried out, after which the analysis is adjusted to the problem raised and the theory chosen. The results of data analysis obtained from the toponymy of village names in Lingga District, Lingga Regency, contain several aspects consisting of: Embodying aspects: water background, topographic background, and natural environmental background. Social aspects: social conditions and social status. Cultural Aspects: history.

This research is intended to identify various forms of euphemism and dysphemism in the debate of presidential candidates of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The source of data in this research is the video of the debate of the presidential candidates of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029 published on Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel. The data collection method used in this study is a documentation technique. The instrument used in this study is the researcher himself. The euphemisms and dysphemes found are the use of abbreviations, the use of absorbed foreign words, terms, metaphors, and perifrasa. The function of euphemism used in the use of euphemisms is politeness and comfort. Meanwhile, the function of dysfemism used is to express swearing or swearing.

The study discusses literary postmodernism contained in the literary work of in the novel We GO Today by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. The aim of this research is to describe the criticism of literary postmodernism in. in the novel We GO Today by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are in the form or words or sentences contained in the novel We Go Today by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. The data collection techniques used to obtain research data are note-taking and observing technique. The data analysis technique used is content analysis bt reading, analyzing, describing, and concluding the contents of the data found in the novel We GO Today by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. Theses data are found in quotations taken from narratives or dialogues between characters. The result of this study are that the are criticisms of literary postmodernism in the form oq 1) capitalism with various characteristics such as spontaneousness, fact, and gesture, 2) Parody with satire and irony, 3) reification with findings on the nature of social reality and cultural phnenomena.

This study aims to describe the style of metaphor found in ten songs by Pak Ngah Suhardi S on YouTube entitled Mother, Rinduku, Rindu Ayah Bunda, Syafa'at, Kampung Halaman, Senja Dikuala Daik, Bunda Tanah Melayu, Uphold Culture, Let Love Bersemi and Pak Ngah Balek. the method used by the researcher is descriptive because the researcher wants to describe the types of metaphorical language styles found in the songs by Pak Ngah Suhardi S, the research technique that the researcher uses is a qualitative technique because the data produced is in the form of written words in the form of song lyrics by Pak Ngah Suhardi S, classifies and analyzes song lyrics. The results of this study describe the style of metaphorical language that exists in ten songs by Pak Ngah Suhardi S. The results obtained are based on the data that has been obtained, the researcher obtains seventy-nine data obtained in ten song lyrics by Pak Ngah Suhardi S. The data is divided into anthropomorphic metaphors. as many as twenty four data, then on the synesthetic metaphor there are two data and on the abstracting metaphor there are fifty three data obtained.

Received: Revised: Accepted: Keywords: Inquiry, Audio, Poetry This study discusses the effect of the inquiry method using audio media on the poetry writiing skills of grade VIII students of Madrasah Tsanaeiyah Idris Bintan academic year 2023/2024. The aim of this study was to describe the effect of the inquiry method using audio media on the poetry writing skills of grade VIII students of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Idris Bintan academic year 2023/2024. The method used in this research is a quantitative method.This type of research is experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design.This population in this study were class VIII students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Idris Bintan academic year 2023/2024 class VIII, a total of 57 students. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables, namely the inquiry method using audio media and the dependent variable namely students poetry writing skills. Data collection was carried. This variables in this study consisted of independent variables, namely the inquiry method using audio media and the dependent variable namely students poetry writing skills. Data collection was carried out by giving an initial test or pretest and posttest or posttest. the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and non-parametric statistics with the help of the SPSS version 29 aplication. The results showed that average score was 73 in the pretest and 87 in the posttest. In the hypothesis testing using the wilcoxon tes, a sinificance value (2-tailed) was 0,001< 0,05, thus inquiry method using audio media has an effect on the poetry writing skills of grade VIII students of the Tanjungpinang state Madrasah Tsanawiyah Idris Bintan academic year 2023/2024.

This research discusses the semiotic types of the film Pariban by Agustinus Sitorus based on the object of study in the form of a film which contains semiotic types in the form of icons, indices and symbols. The aim of this research is to describe the icons, indices and symbols in the film Pariban by Agustinus Sitorus. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection techniques used to obtain data are listening, observing, recording and transferring data. In analyzing data, the techniques used are Selecting data, Grouping data, Analyzing data, Interpreting data, Concluding data. After that draw conclusions from the data obtained. The results of this research obtained semiotic types in the form of icons, indices and symbols.
