Abstract

Dalam konteks pembelajaran, minat membaca memegang peranan penting dalam pengembangan literasi dan prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan penguasaan konten dengan menggunakan video animasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi di Sekolah Dasar Sri Aman Suska School, Satun Thailand. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ekperimen dengan jenis pre-eksperimental melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, peneliti menggunakan 18 siswa sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa setelah diberikan layanan Penguasaan Konten, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan Penguasaan Konten efektif untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi siswa dalam belajar. Pada uji wilcoxon diketahui nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre-test dengan post- test, ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh terhadap perbedaan perlakuan yang diberikan pada saat pretest dan posttest. Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of relational cultural therapy in improving the multicultural competence of students specifically in guidance and counseling study program students as prospective BK/counselor teachers who will provide services to clients who have different cultural backgrounds. This study uses a quantitative type with a pretest-posttest group design. The subjects of this study were 40 students at FKIP UMSU who needed to receive the latest training on multicultural competence. The analysis used was product moment correlation and produced a correlation coefficient of 0.981 which concluded that rational cultural therapy training provided a significant increase in students' multicultural competence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama terhadap pemantapan karir studi lanjut siswa kelas XII SMA Sekolah Indonesia Davao-Filipina. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 17 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik sosiodrama. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemantapan karir studi lanjut siswa setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 39,94 meningkat menjadi 81,00 pada posttest. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai Z -3,622 dan sig. 0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama terhadap pemantapan karir studi lanjut siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama efektif untuk memantapkan karir studi lanjut siswa kelas XII SMA Sekolah Indonesia Davao-Filipina.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of information services through animated film media on the mental health of class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai, Langkat Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research uses quantitative experimental methods, namely one group pretest and posttest design. The subject of this research was class XI IIS 2 with a sample size of 33 students determined using purposive sampling. This research uses a questionnaire instrument as a measuring tool and uses validity tests, reliability tests, and paired T tests. Based on the results of research conducted: 1) there are differences in students' mental health before being given information services through film media with the pretest score results showing that students' mental health is in the low category. 2) there are differences in students' mental health after being given information services through film media with the pretest score results showing that students' mental health has a high category score. 3) there is an effect of increasing information services through film media using the paired T test with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the difference in the average pretest value and the difference in the average pretest value of 89.6667 > from the average posttest value of 125.5758 which shows that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of information services through film media on the mental health of Class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai Langkat Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to implement group guidance services with guided imagery techniques as an effort to reduce excessive anxiety in class XI F2 students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. Anxiety is a common problem that can affect students' physical and psychological health, so it needs to be handled effectively. The research method used is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 5 students who were identified as experiencing excessive anxiety based on the assessment results. The results showed that the application of guided imagery techniques was effective in increasing students' sense of calm and confidence. Evaluation of both cycles showed significant improvements in students' affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects, as well as a positive impact on their involvement in the guidance process. This study is expected to contribute to the development of guidance and counseling practices in schools and enrich knowledge about anxiety management techniques.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an important aspect for humans. This study was conducted with the aim of examining the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning technique to enhance the self-confidence of Grade XI F-5 students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The research was carried out in class XI F-5, which consisted of 32 students. This study employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method, conducted over two cycles. The type of research used was qualitative descriptive analysis, describing both the process during and after the intervention. Based on evaluation data, the results showed that the implementation of Problem-Based Learning through classical services can improve self-confidence among students in class XI F-5. Self-confidence is a psychological condition in students that manifests as a belief in their own abilities to take action in order to achieve goals. In the learning process, self-confidence is crucial to be nurtured and enhanced so that students are able to make decisions for their future. This research was conducted to assess the level of students' self-confidence and to test the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning technique through classical services in enhancing students' confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' social relationships through classical guidance services using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. The subjects were 29 students from class XI F3 at SMA Negeri 10 Medan, with 22 students identified as having difficulties in social interaction, such as low empathy, interpersonal conflict, and poor communication. This research employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) model, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The findings indicated that the PBL-based classical guidance service was effective in enhancing students' social relationships. This was evidenced by the increase in average questionnaire scores from 62.06% (moderate category) in the pre-cycle, to 77.93% (high category) in the first cycle, and reaching 87.93% (very high category) in the second cycle. The PBL approach encouraged students to analyze real social problems, reflect empathetically, and develop collaborative problem-solving skills. Therefore, classical guidance with a PBL approach can be recommended as an effective strategy for improving social skills in high school students.

Abstract

Globalisasi di era modern menuntut pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, salah satunya melalui peningkatan kepercayaan diri peserta didik sebagai faktor penting dalam meraih keberhasilan akademik dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas permainan ular tangga sebagai media dalam layanan bimbingan klasikal untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 35 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Medan yang menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan diri rendah hingga sedang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket skala Likert dengan lima aspek penilaian, yaitu keyakinan terhadap diri sendiri, optimisme, objektivitas, tanggung jawab, dan rasionalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Pada pra-siklus, tidak ada peserta didik yang berada dalam kategori tinggi, 12 peserta didik (34,28%) berada dalam kategori sedang, dan 23 peserta didik (65,71%) berada dalam kategori rendah. Setelah tindakan siklus II, sebanyak 28 peserta didik (80%) berada dalam kategori tinggi, 7 peserta didik (20%) dalam kategori sedang, dan tidak ada yang berada dalam kategori rendah. Hasil ini melebihi kriteria ketuntasan yang ditargetkan sebesar 76%. Dengan demikian, permainan ular tangga terbukti efektif digunakan dalam layanan bimbingan klasikal untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik secara menyenangkan dan interaktif.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning  materials for  mental health which be designed by Metacognitive approach. The development  model of  learning materials using Research and Development (R & D) methods who be developed by Borg and Gall and be combined with teaching development model Dick and Carey. The population for the product trials are UMSU students majoring in counseling guidance study programme. The instrument which be used is questionnaire . This products trials have three steps including personal gruops, small gruops and the field. Before products trials, the researcher does the expert validation trial for the content and design of learning materials for mental health using questionnaires according to the indicators that have been determined. Then the questionnaire be analysed to see the percentage and the validation criteria of Learning materials. The results of this research is a mental health diktat be designed used metacognitive approach.
