Abstract

Abstract Duck feed ingredients are currently still expensive and less affordable for breeders, it is necessary to have alternative quality feed ingredients originating from potential superior swamp plants. The activity aims to provide concentrate preparations from swamp forage as feed ingredients for ducks to reduce feed prices, improve ration quality and income (IOFC) for laying ducks. The activity partner is the Keraton duck group in the Martapura sub-district, Banjar Regency. The activity lasts months. The results of this activity are identification of superior forage originating from swamps that have the potential to be used as feed for laying ducks including Kayapu (Azolla pinnata, aquatic algae (Azolla microphylla, duckweed (Lemna minor), water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk), water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), taro leaves (Colocasia esculenta L.), genjer (Limnocharis flava), kiambang (Salvinia molesta ) and antanan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban).There are only four forage concentrates that have a nutrient content of more than 20%, namely kayapu , aquatic algae (azolla microphylla), duckweed (Lemna minor) and water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk), until they are packaged as swamp forage concentrate products .Feeding trial application of alternative feed ingredients, 30% swamp forage concentrate in duck rations can improve the quality of the main duck ration protein (PK), which resulted in an increase in the number of egg production and the percentage of egg production from 67% to 69.3%, as well as a decrease in ration prices from the price before the activity is IDR 5,630/kg to IDR 4,035/kg after the activity. Feed conversion (FCR) was improved from FCR 6.0 improved to 4.6, egg yolk color increased from 8-9 to 10-11, and IOFC increased from Rp 5.8 million/month to Rp 6.3 million/month. The conclusion shows that the activity of making concentrate preparations is very helpful for farmers increase business profits. Keywords: egg production, forage concentrate, iofc, ration price, swamp forage   Abstrak Bahan pakan itik saat ini masih mahal dan kurang terjangkau peternak, perlu alternatif bahan pakan yang berkualitas asal tanaman potensial unggulan rawa. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk menyediaan sediaan konsentrat asal hijauan rawa sebagai bahan pakan itik untuk menurunkan harga pakan, memperbaiki kualitas ransum dan pendapatan (IOFC) usaha itik petelur. Mitra kegiatan adalah kelompok itik Keraton di kecamatan martapura Kabupaten Banjar. Kegiatan berlangsung dua bulan.  Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah Identifikasi hijauan unggulan asal rawa yang potensial sebagai pakan itik petelur ada sembilan meliputi kayapu (azolla pinnata, ganggang air (azolla microphylla, duckweed (Lemna minor), kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk), eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes), daun talas (Colocasia esculenta L.), genjer (Limnocharis flava), kiambang (Salvinia molesta ) dan antanan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban). Pembuatan konsentrat hijauan hanya ada empat hijauan rawa yang memiliki kadar nutrisi di atas 20% yaitu kayapu, ganggang air (azolla microphylla), duckweed (Lemna minor) dan kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk), hingga dikemas sebagai produk konsentrat hijauan rawa.  Feeding trial penerapan bahan pakan alternatif konsentrat hijauan rawa 30% dalam ransum itik mampu memperbaiki kualitas ransum itik utamanya protein (PK), yang berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah produksi telur dan prosentase produksi telur dari 67% menjadi 69,3%, serta penurunan harga ransum dari harga sebelum kegiatan sebesar Rp 5.630/kg menjadi Rp 4.035/kg setelah kegiatan. Konversi pakan (FCR) diperbaiki dari FCR 6,0 membaik menjadi 4,6,  warna kuning telur meningkat dari 8-9 menjadi 10-11, dan IOFC naik dari Rp 5,8 juta/bln menjadi Rp 6,3 juta/bln.  Kesimpulan menunjukkan kegiatan pembuatan sediaan konsentrat sangat membantu peternak meningkatkan keuntungan usaha itik petelur. Kata kunci: harga ransum,  hijauan rawa, iofc, konsentrat hijauan, produksi telur

Abstract

Penerapan “Lakmentasi” asal limbah ampas kelapa fermentasi dengan kualitas yang baik sebagai substitusi protein ransum itik menjadi alternatif yang cerdas dalam meningkatkan produktifitas telur itik. Pada peternakan rakyat yang mengolah dan membuat sendiri ransum itik petelurnya dengan ragam bahan pakan hal ini menjadi penting, untuk menghemat biaya pakan dan juga meningkatkan marjin usaha peternakan.  Mitra kegiatan pengabdian adalah peternakan itik petelur Maju Bersama desa Palam kec. Cempakan Banjarbaru, selama 2 bulan.  Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan kegiatan berupa sosialisasi dan FGD, demo pembuatan lakmentasi dengan bahan baku limbah kelapa, uji sampling lab hasil fermentasi lakmentasi, aplikasi penerapan melalui feeding trial  pada itik mitra, serta monev dan keberlanjutan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa respon anggota peternak kelompok Maju bersama 87.6% kategori tinggi.  Pembuatan lakmentasi dapat didesiminasikan ke peternak dan mereka dapat mebuat dengan pemahaman dan keterampilan yang baik, Kualitas lakmentasi yang dihasilkan cukup berkualitas dengan hasil uji laboratorium mengandung kadar protein kasar (PK) sebesar 12.06% dari sebelumnya hanya 6.13%, dan serat turun menjadi 21.16% dari sebelumnya 32.17%. Feeding trial 30% lakmentasi pada itik petelur mitra menunjukkan tingkat produksi (henday) yang baik sebesar 73% dan marjin usaha mencapai Rp 429,417,-/bln/30 ekor.  Hal ini menunjukkan penerapan dan pemanfaatan lakmentasi asal ampas kelapa sangat layak digunakan, dan inovatif serta mampu memberi solusi masalah ransum itik yang mahal, sehingga peternak mampu sustain usaha peternakannya, dan mendapatkan marjin yang menguntungkan.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century is required to produce generations who have and master various kinds of skills, one of which is critical thinking skills. Therefore, learning is needed that can prepare students to think critically. One of them is applying local potential-based learning resources developed in popular scientific book teaching materials. This study aims to examine the practicality of the content, the practicality of expectations, and the actual practicality of the popular scientific books developed. The method used is based on Tessmer's formative evaluation design. The results of the research on the readability test obtained results of 87.18% with very good criteria, based on student responses, the results were 89.60% on the practicality of expectations and 92.59% on the actual practicality with very practical criteria, and based on the implementation of popular scientific books that developed which got the results of 92.59% on the implementation of expectations and 96.69% on the actual implementation with a very good category. This result shows that a popular scientific book titled "Types of Plants in the Fabaceae Family with Medicinal Properties in the Banua Botanical Gardens" is very practical to use as enrichment material in the Higher Plant Botany (BTT) course and can improve students' critical thinking skills.Abstrak Pendidikan abad ke-21 dituntut untuk dapat menghasilkan generasi-generasi yang memiliki dan menguasai berbagai macam keterampilan salah satunya adalakah keterampilan berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pembelajaran yang dapat menyiapkan peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan sumber belajar berbasis potensi lokal yang dikembangkan dalam bahan ajar buku ilmiah populer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kepraktisan isi, kepraktisan harapan dan kepraktisan actual dari buku ilmiah populer yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengacu pada desain evaluasi formatif dari Tessmer. Hasil penelitian pada uji keterbacaan mendapatkan hasil sebesar 87,18% dengan kriteria sangat baik, berdasarkan respon mahasiswa mendapatkan hasil sebesar 89,60% pada kepraktisan harapan dan 92,59% pada kepraktisan aktual dengan kriteria sangat praktis, dan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan buku ilmiah populer yang dikembangkan yang mendapatkan hasil 92,59% pada keterlaksanaan harapan dan 96,69% pada keterlaksanaan aktual dengan kategori sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Jenis-Jenis Tumbuhan Famili Fabaceae Berkhasiat Obat di Kebun Raya Banua” sangat praktis digunakan sebagai materi pegayaan pada mata kuliah Botani Tumbuhan Tinggi (BTT) serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Teaching materials are needed to assist in the learning process. One of the teaching materials that can be used is in the form of popular scientific books. Popular scientific books developed must be based on local potential to support learning the concept of diversity in animal ecology courses. So the purpose of this development research is to get the results of the practicality of the contents and expectations of the prototype of a popular scientific book with the title "Diversity of Fish Species in Puting River Waters". The BIP development method uses a development research design model from Tessmer which focuses on formative evaluation. The results of the research on the content practicality test obtained an overall percentage average value of 91.67% with very good criteria, while the results of the expected and actual practicality test were seen from the results of the implementation of popular scientific books which obtained an average of 82.41% with very good criteria, and the results of student responses to popular scientific books obtained an average of 91.97% with the criteria of strongly agreeing. This proves that a popular scientific book with the title "Diversity of Fish Species in Puting River Waters" is very practical to use to explore students' critical thinking skills in learning Animal Ecology.AbstrakBahan ajar diperlukan untuk membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan yaitu berbentuk buku ilmiah populer. Buku ilmiah populer yang dikembangkan harus berbasis potensi lokal untuk menunjang pembelajaran konsep keanekaragaman pada mata kuliah ekologi hewan. Maka tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendapatkan hasil kepraktisan isi dan harapan prototipe buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Ikan di Perairan Sungai Puting”. Metode pengembangan BIP menggunakan model desain penelitian pengembangan dari Tessmer yang berfokus pada evaluasi formatif. Hasil penelitian pada uji kepraktisan isi memperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase  keseluruhan sebesar 91,67% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan  hasil uji kepraktisan harapan dan aktual dilihat dari hasil uji keterlaksanaan buku ilmiah populer yang memperoleh rata-rata 82,41% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ilmiah populer memperoleh rata-rata 91,97% dengan kriteria sangat setuju. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Ikan di Perairan Sungai Puting” sangat praktis digunakan untuk menggali keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Ekologi Hewan.

Abstract

Learning resources using popular scientific books based on local potential found in an area is one solution that can be used to overcome problems in learning Plant Ecology courses. This development research aims to describe the practicality of the contents, expectations and actual prototypes of a popular scientific book entitled “Tree Species Diversity in Puting Riverbank”. The research method uses a Tessmer design that focuses on formative evaluation. The results of the research on the practicality test of the content seen from the readability results of students got an average value of 94.23% with very good criteria, while the results of the practicality test of expectations and actual seen from the results of the implementation of popular scientific books which obtained an average value of 88.89% with very good criteria and the results of student responses to popular scientific books with an average of 95.96% with criteria strongly agree. This shows that a popular scientific book with the title "Diversity of Tree Species on the Puting Riverbank" is very practical to use to explore students' critical thinking skills in learning plant ecology.AbstrakSumber belajar menggunakan buku ilmiah populer berbasis potensi lokal yang terdapat pada suatu daerah merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah di dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Ekologi Tumbuhan. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan isi, harapan dan aktual prototipe buku ilmiah populer yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Pohon di Bantaran Sungai Puting” Metode penelitian menggunakan desain Tessmer yang berfokus pada evaluasi formatif. Hasil penelitian pada uji kepraktisan isi yang dilihat dari hasil keterbacaan mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 94,23% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan hasil uji kepraktisan harapan dan aktual dilihat dari hasil uji keterlaksanaan buku ilmiah populer yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88.89% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ilmiah populer dengan rata-rata 95,96% dengan kriteria sangat setuju. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Pohon di Bantaran Sungai Puting” sangat praktis digunakan untuk menggali keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Ekologi Tumbuhan.

Abstract

The wetland learning system is still conventional and lecturer-centered so that students are not accustomed to doing problem solving activities that have an impact on the lack of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop multimedia learning of problem solving based peat swamp forest concepts to determine the validity of multimedia to train students' critical thinking skills. The stages carried out following the ADDIE instructional design flow include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques used a validation sheet instrument for two material experts from Lambung Mangkurat University and one multimedia expert from Politeknik Hasnur. Readability test was conducted on three active students who had taken a course to introduce the wetland environment in FMIPA ULM. The results showed that the multimedia learning concept of problem solving peat swamp forest to train critical thinking skills of chemistry students of FMIPA ULM Banjarbaru is very valid.AbstrakSistem pembelajaran lahan basah masih bersifat konvensional dan berpusat pada dosen sehingga mahasiswa tidak terbiasa melakukan kegiatan pemecahan masalah yang berdampak pada kurangnya keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan  multimedia pembelajaran konsep hutan rawa gambut berbasis problem solving untuk mengetahui bagaimana validitas multimedia untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Tahapan yang dilakukan mengikuti alur desain instruksional ADDIE meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi terhadap dua ahli materi dari Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dan satu ahli multimedia dari Politeknik Hasnur. Uji keterbacaan dilakukan terhadap tiga mahasiswa aktif yang pernah mengambil mata kuliah pengenalan lingkungan lahan basah di FMIPA ULM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran konsep hutan rawa gambut berbasis problem solving untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa kimia FMIPA ULM Banjarbaru sangat valid.

Abstract

Biotechnology is a concept in learning that contains many problems related to everyday life. The problem of biotechnology also continues to grow with the times. In every development, biotechnology certainly encounters problems that must be found to solve the problem and of course require the ability to think creatively. So, in biotechnology it is necessary to have creative problem solving abilities to find solutions to every problem. The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of students' abilities in creative problem solving on the concept of biotechnology. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Students will be categorized based on five levels of creativity, namely very creative, creative, quite creative, less creative, and not creative. This category is determined based on a hypothetical theory that has been prepared before the research is carried out. After conducting a research on the profile of students' abilities in creative problem solving on the concept of biotechnology to several students of the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University who had completed the introductory biotechnology course, the results obtained four levels of creativity, namely very creative, creative, moderate creative and less creative. Meanwhile, students who are not creative are not found in this study.AbstrakBioteknologi merupakan suatu konsep dalam pembelajaran yang berisi banyak permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Permasalahan bioteknologi tersebut juga terus berkembang mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Setiap perkembangannya, bioteknologi tentu menemui permasalahan yang harus ditemukan penyelesaian masalahnya dan tentunya memerlukan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Sehingga,  dalam bioteknologi perlu adanya kemampuan penyelesaian masalah yang bersifat kreatif untuk mencari solusi setiap permasalahan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian masalah secara kreatif pada konsep bioteknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Mahasiswa akan dikategorikan berdasarkan lima tingkatan kreativitas yaitu sangat kreatif, kreatif, cukup kreatif, kurang kreatif, dan tidak kreatif. Kategori ini ditentukan berdasarkan teori hipotetik yang telah disusun sebelum penelitian dilaksanakan. Setelah dilaksanakan penelitian profil  kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian masalah secara kreatif pada konsep bioteknologi terhadap beberapa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah pengantar bioteknologi didapatkan hasil empat tingkatan kreativitas yaitu sangat kreatif, kreatif, cukup kreatif, dan kurang kreatif. Sedangkan untuk mahasiswa yang tidak kreatif tidak ditemukan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nutrient content of fermented water spinach leaf flour on the content of dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein with different EM-4 levels and their economic prices as an alternative to poultry feed ingredients. The research method used was a completely randomized design (RAL), with five treatments and five replications, where each replication consisted of one container of fermented containers. The variables observed were dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein. The data obtained were analyzed using a variety of analyzes where previously the data homogeneity test was carried out. If the treatment shows a significant and very significant effect, then it will be followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that the nutrient content of water spinach fermented leaf flour on the content of dry matter and organic matter decreased, while the crude protein content increased, so that it showed very different values (p <0.01) the economic value of making fermented water spinach leaf flour the best is 0.4% EM-4 is equal to Rp.420, -

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nutrient content of coconut pulp fermented dregs tocrude protein content, crude fiber and crude fat with different levels of EM-4. The research method used was a complete randomized design (RAL), with four treatments and five replications, in which each replication consisted of a topless container of fermentation. The observed variables were crude protein, coarse fiber and crude axle. Data were analyzed using variance after previously conducted homogeneity test data. If the variance analysis shows a real effect then proceed with the test of the difference of the middle value using the BNT Test. The results showed that the nutrient content of the fermented coconut pulp to the crude protein content increased, while the crude fiber content and crude fat decreased, thus showing very different values significantly (p <0.01).

Abstract

The goal of this research is to analyze the effect of tree snail fermentation performance to production and profits of Alabio ducks. This research consist of two steps, step I want to know to make TBF of achatina by fermentation process and  nutrition analyze TBF product fermentation of achatina, and step II using feeding trial TBF in Alabio duck  rations  using completely randomized design (RAL) 4 treatments and 4 replicateds, followed by DMRT test.  The treatment step II consist of : R0 = control (without TBF in rations); R1 = level 7.5% TBF in rations; R2 = 15 % TBF in rations dan R3 = 22.5% TBF in rations. Result of this research showed in Step I TBT product fermentation of achatina was safe and can increased can increasing quality of nutrition, mainly protein until  38.0 % from   30.56 %  before fermentation nutrition.  Result in Step II showed the treatment no significant increase egg production but an increase in levels of up to 22.5% TBF TBF (R3) tends to increase egg production, while the eggmass also showed no significant effect , but treatments were using TBF over 7.5% in ration that was  R3 (15%) and R4 (22.5%)  can increasing eggmass bigger than control.   The treatment showed that level of 22.5 % TBF in rations  was the biggest increasing  IOFC (Income over feed cost) about Rp. 7.316,-/kg  from selling of egg Alabio duck layer.  This research was recomendate that the treatment R3 with 22.5% TBF in ration was the best treatment to increased all the parameter and the price of formulated  ration was the lowest about Rp. 3234,-/kg.
