Abstract

In North Lombok Regency, the Anggun Fish Farming Group (Poklahsar Anggun) is a fishery product processing and marketing group that produces locally sourced salted fish. Despite its sustainable production capabilities, its marketing activities are still limited to traditional markets. Several studies have shown that the use of social media and marketplaces not only serves as a promotional medium but also as a sales channel that can increase sales volume and marketing efficiency for small businesses. This community service activity focuses on expanding the target market through the use of social media and marketplaces as an adaptive and sustainable marketing strategy. The approach involves disseminating materials and direct practice. The implementation process is structured into three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The use of Facebook Marketplace as the primary marketing medium has proven to be suitable for the group members' conditions and capabilities, particularly in addressing limited business capital. The implementation of an open order system is a relevant solution to minimize the risk of loss and reduce the need for initial capital for procuring raw fish. This strategy not only contributes to business sustainability but also opens up opportunities to expand market reach beyond traditional markets. The suggestion in this activity is for Poklahsar Anggun to manage its Facebook Marketplace account consistently and sustainably, then gradually expand the use of other digital marketing media such as WhatsApp Business and supporting social media.

Abstract

Abstract

This activity aimed to improve the ability of the Pade Girang to produce attractive product photographs using smartphones for digital marketing purposes. The activity focused on processed banana products, which had limited market appeal due to poor visual presentation in social media promotion. The program was conducted from June to July 2025 using a participatory approach consisting of preparation, training, practice, and evaluation stages. Training materials included smartphone camera features, lighting techniques, product arrangement, background selection, shooting angles, and simple photo editing applications. The activity involved 15 participants and emphasized direct practice using participants’ own products. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding and technical skills in taking clearer, more attractive, and marketable product photographs. Participants became more capable of using natural lighting, arranging product composition, and selecting appropriate photo angles. In addition, the training encouraged participants to understand the importance of visual presentation in digital marketing. Several participants began using social media to promote their products after the training. Overall, the activity contributed to strengthening the marketing capacity of the farmer group and supporting wider market access for processed banana products.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to be a follow-up to previous training, namely Management of Household Waste and VCO Waste produced by the Al Ummahat Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Lendang Nangka Village, East Lombok Regency. Through assistance with circular economy principles, it is hoped that it can encourage the formation of business units based on sustainable waste processing at the KWT level. Implementation methods include intensive counseling and assistance that integrates three main pillars, namely environmental, economic and social aspects, as mandated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 1 (no poverty), SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production), SDG 13 (handling climate change), and SDG 15 (land ecosystem). The results of the activities showed a significant increase in participants' capacity, including understanding the concept of a circular economy (average increase of 52.4%), skills in processing organic waste into compost and organic liquid fertilizer (48.8%), as well as skills in recycling inorganic waste into marketable craft products (55.2%). This activity contributes to strengthening household economic resilience and environmental sustainability in Lendang Nangka Village.

Abstract

Kuranji Village is a coastal village with abundant fishery resources. The community's fishing activities produce fish waste, which has been processed into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC), which is beneficial for the agricultural sector and has significant economic value due to its rich nutrient content. Although the POC production process has been implemented, the resulting product is still marketed simply with basic packaging and lacks informative and attractive product labels. The women's fisherfolk group lacks adequate knowledge and skills regarding proper packaging techniques and product label design. The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of group members in packaging, labeling, branding, and developing a business for POC products that are good, attractive, and meet marketing standards, thus increasing their sales value. The results of this community service activity indicate an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in packaging POC products more neatly, hygienically, and attractively, thereby improving product quality and added value. Through label design training, participants are also able to produce informative labels with clear product identification, thereby increasing consumer confidence in the products. Product branding training provided participants with an understanding of the importance of building a brand and product image as a strategy to increase market competitiveness. Previously marketed simply, POC products now have a stronger identity and are easily recognized by consumers. Short-term and long-term business development mentoring activities successfully improved the group's ability to develop more systematic business plans, ranging from product quality improvement, marketing expansion, institutional strengthening, and sustainable business development.
