Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter serta kemampuan kewargaan peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mampu menarik perhatian, menumbuhkan motivasi, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan variasi media yang dimanfaatkan oleh guru, cara media tersebut diintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan belajar, serta pengaruhnya terhadap keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa kelas tinggi di SDN 01 Bonyokan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan berbagai media seperti video, gambar, dan presentasi digital, yang secara nyata membantu meningkatkan interaksi serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi PPKn, terutama pada pembahasan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan norma kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun demikian, pemanfaatan media masih menghadapi beberapa kendala, antara lain keterbatasan jaringan internet, kurangnya perangkat pendukung, serta pengaturan waktu pembelajaran yang belum maksimal. Di samping itu, media pembelajaran jarang digunakan dalam proses evaluasi yang masih didominasi oleh metode tradisional. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran memberikan dampak positif bagi proses pembelajaran PPKn, namun efektivitasnya perlu ditingkatkan melalui penyediaan sarana yang memadai, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan perencanaan pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi budaya 5S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa, Sopan, dan Santun) dalam Pembelajaran Pancasila di kelas 4 SDN Mangkubumen Wetan No. 63 Kota Surakarta. Budaya 5S merupakan bagian penting dari pembentukan karakter peserta didik yang sejalan dengan tujuan Pendidikan Pancasila dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai penerapan 5S dalam interaksi guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan pembiasaan 5S melalui keteladanan, penguatan berulang, dan pengkondisian rutin sehingga siswa mulai terbiasa menunjukkan sikap ramah, sopan, dan santun. Penerapan 5S berdampak positif terhadap suasana pembelajaran yang lebih hangat, kondusif, serta mendorong keberanian siswa dalam berdiskusi dan berpartisipasi aktif. Meskipun masih terdapat tantangan berupa ketidakkonsistenan siswa, guru mampu mengatasinya melalui pengingat yang lembut dan strategi pembelajaran kreatif seperti role-play dan permainan. Secara keseluruhan, budaya 5S terbukti mendukung internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dan memperkuat karakter peserta didik dalam konteks pembelajaran dan interaksi sosial di sekolah.

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa transformasi besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam perkembangan karakter peserta didik. Tantangan yang muncul seperti digitalisasi yang cepat, pembelajaran PPKn yang masih tekstual, maraknya media informasi, kecenderungan, sikap pasif terhadap isu-isu sosial, serta berkurangnya empati dalam interaksi sosial menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk dapat lebih merespons secara adaptif. Pendidikan PPKn (Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan) memiliki posisi yang strategis dalam membentuk civic disposition peserta didik yaitu sikap dan nilai kewarganegaraan yang aktif, kritis, peduli, dan memiliki rasa tanggung jawab secara sosial. Kajian ini berfokus kepada pentingnya revitalisasi PPKn agar lebih kontektekstual dan sesuai  dengan kebutuhan peserta didik di era digital. Metode yang digunakan merupakan studi literatur terhadap berbagai studi dan publikasi terkini yang membahas mengenai inovasi dalam pembelajaran PPKn penguatan karakter kewarganegaraan dan tantangan pendidikan di era digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PPKn yang kontekstual, berbasis masalah, dan kolaboratif terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang lebih empatik aktif secara sosial serta memiliki tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan digital dan sosial. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah perlunya transformasi pembelajaran PPKn Melalui strategi pembelajaran yang aktif integrasi teknologi secara kritis dan kemitraan antara sekolah

Abstract

This study explores contemporary patterns of cultural transmission of gamelan among children in Surakarta through the interconnection between formal school learning and community-based learning. Using an ethnopedagogical perspective grounded in Social Learning Theory (Bandura, 1986), the research examines how observation, imitation, modeling, and reinforcement function as interconnected processes in karawitan education. Data were collected through an ethnographic approach that included interviews, observations, and visual documentation by observing extracurricular practices and gamelan learning activities in elementary school programs in Surakarta. The findings show that gamelan learning functions not only as musical instruction but also as a moral enculturation process, where collective practices cultivate social values such as rukun (harmony), gotong royong (cooperation), and tata krama (cultural respect). These findings affirm that the sustainability of Javanese musical heritage depends on active collaboration between schools and local communities, which transforms traditional music into a living pedagogical medium. Integrating traditional arts into formal education can foster mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning, a culturally grounded approach that blends skills, empathy, and collective happiness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi peran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter dalam menyikapi kasus bullying di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei, wawancara, dan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 2 SDN Triyagan 01 sebanyak 19 orang beserta wali kelasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat beberapa kasus bullying di lingkungan sekolah, namun angka kejadian bullying masih tergolong rendah. Perilaku bullying fisik tercatat antara (31,57%-36,84%), bullying verbal berkisar antara (26,31%-36,84%), dan bullying relasional antara (10,52%-21,05%). Angka-angka ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada, frekuensi terjadinya bullying masih dalam batas yang relatif rendah. Data tersebut menjadi bukti bahwa materi PPKn terbukti memuat nilai-nilai karakter seperti saling menghargai, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab yang mampu membentuk sikap anti bullying pada siswa. Pembelajaran PPKn mendorong siswa untuk lebih peduli terhadap sesama dan meningkatkan keberanian siswa untuk melaporkan tindakan bullying kepada guru. Dengan demikian, PPKn memiliki kontribusi positif dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berorientasi pada nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan perilaku anti bullying sejak dini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) as an effort to develop the character of third-grade students at SDN Kestalan. Strengthening P5 is an essential component of the Merdeka Curriculum because it functions to shape students’ character holistically through six main dimensions. However, the implementation of P5 in elementary schools still faces several challenges, such as uneven teacher understanding, less structured planning, and diverse student characteristics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques to obtain in-depth data on teacher practices, integration strategies, obstacles, and the impact of P5 implementation. The results show that teachers have an adequate understanding of the P5 concept and strive to integrate it through interactive lectures, question-and-answer sessions, simple experiments, the habituation of the 5S culture, and creative projects that actively involve students. The obstacles encountered are generally related to discipline issues, emotional immaturity, limited facilities, and suboptimal parental involvement. However, these challenges can be reduced through personal approaches, positive motivation, support from school facilities, and collaboration with parents. The implementation of P5 has been proven to have a positive impact on students’ character development, especially in the aspects of politeness, cooperation, responsibility, and self-confidence. Therefore, the strategic role of teachers and the support of a conducive learning environment are key factors in the success of character strengthening through P5.

Abstract

Civic Education (PPKn) serves as an essential foundation for cultivating students’ moral character and citizenship values at the elementary level. This study examines the role of PPKn in shaping the noble character of Grade 2 students at SD Negeri 2 Pereng, identifies existing challenges in its implementation, and proposes strategies for improvement. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations and interviews with the Grade 2 teacher. The findings show that PPKn contributes significantly to developing students’ discipline, responsibility, cooperation, politeness, and patriotism through structured routines such as daily prayers, class duties, simple deliberation activities, and flag ceremonies. The teacher’s modeling and guidance further reinforce value internalization. However, limited audiovisual media, uneven literacy skills, and classroom management issues hinder optimal implementation. Effective solutions include simplifying learning materials, utilizing accessible visual media, strengthening teacher facilitation, and enhancing collaboration between school and parents. Overall, PPKn remains vital in supporting character development when supported by adequate strategies and consistent habituation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of students’ knowledge and the alignment of the Civic Education learning model with the characteristics of third-grade students at SDN Kadipiro. The research problem arises from the tendency of Civic Education in elementary schools to rely heavily on lecture-based instruction, which results in low student engagement and limited comprehension of abstract concepts such as rights and obligations. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observations, interviews, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of the learning process, the instructional model applied, and classroom dynamics. The findings reveal that the teacher implemented a game-based Discovery Learning model that emphasizes exploration, categorization, verification, and independent conclusion-making by students. This model proved effective, as evidenced by 85% of students being able to understand and distinguish examples of rights and obligations in accordance with the Civic Education learning outcomes. The study also indicates that game-based learning is more compatible with the students’ predominant visual and kinesthetic learning tendencies, enabling them to maintain focus more effectively than when using traditional lecture methods. However, several challenges emerged, including variations in students’ writing literacy skills and the absence of a structured assessment rubric. These findings underscore the need for flexible instructional design, the integration of concrete learning media, and the implementation of more systematic formative assessment practices. Future research is recommended to develop differentiated instructional strategies and to utilize more diverse media to accommodate the needs of heterogeneous classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) diterapkan dalam upaya menumbuhkan identitas bangsa pada siswa sekolah dasar di era globalisasi, dengan fokus pada studi kasus di SDN Bratan 2. Di tengah masuknya berbagai budaya dan informasi dari luar, siswa sekolah dasar perlu dibekali nilai kebangsaan agar tetap mengenal jati diri sebagai bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi kegiatan belajar, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta telaah dokumen pembelajaran PKn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan melalui pembelajaran yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa, diskusi tentang keberagaman, contoh kontekstual, serta keteladanan dalam perilaku. Selain itu, kegiatan sekolah seperti upacara bendera, lagu nasional, dan program berbasis budaya lokal ikut memperkuat identitas bangsa pada siswa. Implementasi PKn ini membantu siswa menumbuhkan cinta tanah air, sikap menghargai perbedaan, dan kesadaran berbangsa.

Abstract

Globalization will impact the mindset and character of students so that it is required to strengthen nationalism that internalizes the values ​​of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in co-curricular learning. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika co-curricular module based on deep learning to improve the nationalism of elementary school students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative study with a one-group pretest-posttest design with 25 students as research subjects. The instrument used in this study is a nationalism questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and using the N-gain formula to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika co-curricular module based on deep learning. The results showed that the average pretest score was 59.36 in the medium category and increased by 21.21 to 80.48 in the posttest and was in the high category. The N-gain calculation showed a value of 0.52 which was in the medium category. This N-gain value indicates that the deep learning-based Bhinneka Tunggal Ika co-curricular module is effective in enhancing students' nationalism. Deep learning can encourage students to understand and internalize the values ​​of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika more deeply and meaningfully. Therefore, the deep learning-based Bhinneka Tunggal Ika co-curricular module can be used as an alternative strategy in strengthening character education in elementary schools, particularly in fostering sustainable student nationalism.
