Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode Brain Dance pada pembelajaran gerak dasar tari Lampung di SD Negeri 5 Talang, Teluk Betung Selatan. Objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Brain Dance pada gerak dasar tari Lampung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 2 SD Negeri 5 Talang yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan obervasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru  dan peserta didik kelas 2. Penelitian ini  menerapkan delapan pola gerak pada metode Brain Dance yaitu: Pernafasan (Breath), Sentuhan-Taktil (Tactile- Touch), Inti-Distal (Core-Distal), Kepala-Kaki (Head Tile), Atas- Bawah (Upper Lower), Tubuh Terhenti (Body Halt), Melintang Silang (Cross Literal), dan Ruang Depan (Vestibular). Penerapan delapan pola gerak pada metode Brain Dance diatas,dimodifikasi dengan gerak dasar tari Lampung yaitu tari Sigeh Pengunten, Bedana, dan Nyambai Kipas. Hasil penerapan metode Brain Dance pada pembelajaran gerak dasar tari Lampung di SD Negeri 5 Talang Teluk Betung Selatan menghasilkan peserta didik mampu mengikuti gerak tari Lampung yang telah dimodifikasi dengan metode Brain Dance. Proses penerapan dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi. Namum peserta didik  masih kesulitan dalam melakukan gerak Ayun dengan teknik Melintang Silang (Cross Literal), dan gerak Gelek dengan teknik Ruang Depan (Vestibular).Kata Kunci : Metode Brain Dance, Pembelajaran, gerak dasar tari Lampung.

Abstract

Values of Character Education in the Sirih Pinang Symbol in the Nyambai Tradition of Saibatin Customary Community on the West Coast. Objective: This research aims to reveal the values of character education contained in the symbol of Sirih Pinang when the people of Lampung on the coast held a Nyambai tradition. Method: This research is a qualitative descriptive study, data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis is done by reducing, display, drawing conclusions and verification. Findings: The results found that sirih pinang in a nyambai event used by the community as a symbol that regulates the behavior of the community. The use of sirih pinang in a nyambai event contains the values of character education that teaches about the value of unity, the value of respect, the value of togetherness, the value of friendship, mutual assistance and the value of tolerance that should be inherited to the young generation. Conclusion: Sirih Pinang in a nyambai event can be used as a guide line of knowledge for children in the conduct and behaviour in the daily life of both in the family, school, and in the community.Keywords: values, character education, sirih pinang, nyambai tradition, indigenous event.DOI: 10.23960/jpp.v10.i2.202013

Abstract

The inheritance of traditional dance within the Saibatin Traditional Lampung Community in Keratuan Darah Putih presents a significant challenge for the younger generation, as traditional dance is primarily performed during traditional marriage ceremonies. The central issue addressed in this article is the restricted inheritance system of traditional dances, which limits access to the younger generation. This research aims to analyze the inheritance system employed by the Saibatin indigenous people in the White Blood Region and their efforts to preserve traditional values amid a rapidly changing cultural landscape. Furthermore, this study explores how the values and meanings embedded in traditional dance serve as a source of cultural literacy for the Lampung community. This research adopts a qualitative approach with an ethnographic methodology. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with traditional figures, dancers, and musicians, as well as field notes and documentation. Source triangulation was employed to ensure the credibility of the data. The data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman framework, which involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate that the traditional dance inheritance system practiced by the Saibatin Indigenous people in Keratuan Darah Putih is primarily based on a vertical inheritance model grounded in the kinship system. This process occurs through the immediate family and the extended kinship network, supplemented by non-formal learning at the Intan studio.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran gerak dasar tari Lampung dengan metode pembelajaran Brain Dance di SD Negeri 2 Beringin Raya Bandar Lampung. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran gerak dasar tari Lampung dengan metode pembelajaran Brain Dance. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas I SD Negeri 2 Beringin Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Proses kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Brain Dance terdapat 8 pola gerak yang dimodifikasi menyesuaikan gerak dasar tari Lampung yaitu tari Sigeh Penguten, tari Bedana dan tari Nyambai Kipas terdiri dari (Breath) pernafasan dalam ragam gerak Sembah dan Samber Melayang, (Tactile-Touch) sentuhan taktil dalam ragam gerak Lipeto, (Core-Distal) inti-distal dalam ragam gerak Gubugh Gakhang, (Head-Tile) kepala-kaki dalam ragam Khesek Injing, (Upper-Lower) atas-bawah dalam ragam geram mampang kapas, (Body-Halt) tubuh terhenti dalam ragam gerak Ngerujung, (Cross-Literal) melintang silang dalam ragam gerak Ayun, dan (Vestibular) Ruang depan dalam ragam gerak Geleg. Hasil pembelajaran gerak dasar tari Lampung dengan metode pembelajaran Brain Dance peserta didik mendapatkan nilai 75,87 dengan kriteria penilaian pada kategori penilaian baik.Kata Kunci: metode brain dance, pembelajaran, gerak dasar tari Lampung.
