Abstract

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is implementing a digital influencer marketing campaign for the Beli Kreatif Sumatera Selatan 2022 (BKSS) 2022 program. The campaign targets millennials with high purchasing power. The research conducted used the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) media effect theory and the Hypordemic Needle theory to prove the influence of BKSS influencers on Attention, Interest, Search, Action, and Share regarding BKSS 2022 products. A descriptive quantitative method was used, and a digital questionnaire was distributed to 346 respondents who follow BKSS 2022 influencers. Over 60% of the respondents stated that they were influenced in terms of Attention, Interest, Search, Action, and Share. The Pearson Correlation results showed a significant and positive correlation between Attention and the variables of Interest, Search, Action, and Share. Path coefficient analysis demonstrated that Attention significantly influenced the Share action for Beli Kreatif Sumatera Selatan products. Attention also influenced the Action of purchasing BKSS 2022 products. Additionally, the influence of Attention on Search was lower compared to the actions of Share and Purchase.

Abstract

The reality highlighted in this study is that there are still disparities experienced by Balinese women amidst their positive contribution in developing tourism. This strengthens the picture of the need for intensive efforts to realize women's empowerment both within the framework of sustainable tourism and sustainable development, especially in newly developing destinations. This study aims to analyze the meaning of women's empowerment in developing Kelecung Eco Village as a tourist village. This research uses an interpretive paradigm and a qualitative approach. The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis method was used to find the meaning of women's empowerment carried out by actors in developing Kelecung Eco Village as a tourist village. The results of this research show that women's empowerment is interpreted as (1) social balance; (2) community involvement; and (3) sustainability. This study highlights the involvement of women in developing tourism. The findings in this study have practical implications for policy makers at both regional and national levels.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the Representation of the Hedonism lifestyle in Zalora's 30 Day Returns Free Version of Advertising. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive type of research. Qualitative description (QD) is a word used for qualitative research used in a descriptive study. This type of qualitative descriptive research is usually used in research on social phenomena. While the method of analysis, the researcher uses the semiotic analysis model of Charles Sanders Pierce. Peirce's theory of semiotics is the science or technique (method) of analysis that explains the sign system. A sign is something that is visible, leads to something, can represent the relationship between the sign and the recipient of the sign that is representative and refers to the interpretive. Peirce separates the sign system (semiotics) into 3 elements that have been included in his triangle theory, namely the sign (sign), the sign reference (object), and the use of the sign (interpretant). While the results and discussion in this study concluded that: the free version of the 30-day return zalora advertisement is not only about promoting fashion items, but also the meaning of the hedonistic lifestyle that is inserted through the scenes. The meaning of the hedonistic lifestyle is seen when the woman puts the measure of her pleasure in life on materialist goods. When he does not have luxurious and stylish clothes, he will feel sad and worried. Conversely, when he has an abundance of luxury goods, he will feel happy and get pleasure in himself (hedonism). In addition to the enjoyment of women's lives as measured by materialist objects as above, the purchase of fashion items in very large and excessive quantities is also the meaning of the hedonistic lifestyle that is inserted in this 30-day return free version of the Zalora advertisement. Various types of fashion as a result of unreasonable purchases are scattered in the room without using them.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the influence of Human Relations and the Use of New Media Technology in Organizational communication at PT. Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia. The research method used a census method with a population of 65 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaires consisting of 82 questions divided into 3 parts, namely human relations, the use of new media and organizational communication. Data analysis in this study used the SEM method. Hypothesis testing shows that human relations have a significant effect on organizational communication. This indicates that good human relations will contribute well to organizational communication. The use of new media in organizations has a significant effect on organizational communication. Furthermore, from the results of the hypothesis test, it can be seen that human relations and the use of new media together can affect organizational communication at PT Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia. From the results of this study, researchers provide several suggestions to improve organizational communication at PT Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia to be able to improve human relations for the better so that organizational communication becomes better. Furthermore, the use of new media can increase the effectiveness of communication built at PT. Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia

Abstract

Pola komunikasi sebagai salah satu komponen proses komunikasi sangat mirip dengan proses komunikasi itu sendiri. Proses komunikasi melibatkan serangkaian tindakan yang mengomunikasikan sinyal hingga pihak lain memberikan respons yang sama. Komunikasi interpersonal hanya dapat terjadi jika kedua belah pihak saling memperhatikan kebutuhan masing-masing dan memberikan respons yang tepat. Jika hal ini terjadi, maka hubungan yang terjalin ditandai dengan adanya semangat saling memperhatikan, pengertian, keakraban, dan pemahaman. Menurut Devito, keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, emosi positif, dan kesamaan merupakan ciri-ciri komunikasi interpersonal yang baik. Guru dan santri pondok pesantren tahfidz bagi difabel memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang terbilang baik. Hal ini terlihat dari indikator komunikasi satu arah (aktivitas), dua arah (interaksi), dan multi arah (transaksi). Perilaku belajar santri dalam mata pelajaran agama dan umum tergolong sedang. Kemampuan santri dalam menggunakan isyarat nonverbal untuk mengekspresikan diri secara kreatif, belajar dengan cepat, dan memiliki kapasitas mental yang tinggi merupakan tanda-tanda tersebut.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian mengenai apakah terdapat pengaruh media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, inovasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Terminal Petikemas Koja. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, dan inovasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Komunikasi organisasi diperlukan dalam hubungannya antar karyawan dengan karyawan dan pimpinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah mix method. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan di Terminal Petikemas Koja, Jakarta Utara. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 181 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan probability sampling berupa Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, inovasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Artinya, semakin meningkat kepuasan kerja, maka semakin meningkat pula media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, inovasi dan kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan temuan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, peningkatan kinerja karyawan dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, inovasi, dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Pengaruh yang lebih tinggi terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja karyawan bukanlah satu-satunya yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, tetapi perlu dipertimbangkan pula media komunikasi internet, komunikasi interpersonal, dan inovasi

Abstract

Interpersonal communication between teachers and parents in experience-based education at the elementary school level faces challenges such as a lack of openness, empathy, and shared understanding, which can hinder effective learning. This study aims to analyze the interpersonal communication between teachers and parents in experience-based education, identify barriers, and develop effective interpersonal communication strategies. The study is grounded in DeVito’s Interpersonal Communication Theory (openness, empathy, support, positive attitude, equality), Carl Rogers’ Humanistic Theory (authenticity, unconditional acceptance), and John Dewey’s Experience-Based Learning approach. This research employs a qualitative method with a postpositivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using a thematic approach. The findings indicate that openness, empathy, supportive attitudes, positive attitudes, equality, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance in interpersonal communication play a crucial role in enhancing parental involvement in experience-based education. Teachers use various communication strategies, including face-to-face interactions and digital media such as WhatsApp, to foster more inclusive communication. However, major barriers identified include limited direct interaction, differences in expectations between teachers and parents, and technological access constraints affecting communication effectiveness. The novelty of this study lies in the development of interpersonal communication strategies that integrate humanistic and experiential approaches in teacher-parent interactions. Unlike previous studies that primarily focused on teachers' communication within the classroom, this study addresses the gap by proposing an interpersonal communication model based on authenticity and unconditional acceptance, which can enhance parental engagement in experience-based education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Art education has an important impact on the mental and physical development of students. Art education that has been available and open to the public is art learning that is obtained in the school environment or informal education related to drawing and sculpting. Museum MACAN (Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara) is present as the first art institution of its kind in Indonesia which constructs the concept of a museum to be more alive and relevant to society. Researchers try to see another side, namely how Museum MACAN interprets art education on its website. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using Roland Barthes' Semiotics method to analyze symbols that represent art education. Researchers also perceive art education deconstructed by Museum MACAN through its website. The results of this study indicate that there are other meanings regarding art education that are known to the public. Abstract

This research is focused on interactions on social media TikTok, where researchers raise issues regarding individual freedom and the presence of other people in conveying messages on social media TikTok. Based on some circumstances, the researcher sees a transition in the meaning of individual freedom and the presence of other people in the context of interaction on social media TikTok. The rationale for this study is that researchers use the perspective of freedom and the presence of other people, according to Jean-Paul Sartre, which is then studied through the theory of symbolic interactionism (George Herbert Mead) and self-presentation theory (Erving Goffmann). The paradigm used in this study is the postmodern paradigm, in which researchers attempt to deconstruct the meaning of individual freedom and the presence of other people in conveying messages on social media TikTok. The key informants in the study were two content creators of the TikTok social media who were selected purposively. The results of the study show that the skills of TikTok social media creators are needed in negotiating individual freedom agreed upon by netizens and managing the presence of other people (netizens) to interact on TikTok social media in order to achieve goals, one of which is building social capital, monetization, and social transformation.

Abstract

The capital city of East Java Province, Surabaya City has the densest population. This population growth rate is the task of DP3APPKB Surabaya City to overcome it and one of the programs is vasectomy. In 2013, Surabaya received an award for fostering Vasectomy groups until the acceptance rate was high, but after that the number of acceptors continued to decline drastically until now. The purpose of this study is to look at the implementation of the vasectomy innovation diffusion and adoption program in Surabaya City. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach in order to get in-depth results from various perspectives. It was found that complexity, side effects and cost are not constraints, vasectomy diffusion channels are effective, and the added value offered is diverse. These can be further emphasized by DP3APPKB in running the next Vasectomy program.
