Abstract

Latar Belakang: Identifikasi risiko dan penilaian risiko dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya risiko kecelakaan kerja. Sebab menurut laporan tahunan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan selama 3 tahun terakhir mengalami peningkatan jumlah kecelakaan kerja. Sedangkan suatu pekerjaan konstruksi harus menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Kerja. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Penilaian terhadap risiko mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri PUPR No. 10 Tahun 2021. Hasil: Rekapitulasi terhadap 46 responden menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaan struktur memiliki 5 risiko dengan tingkat rendah dan 1 risiko dengan tingkat sedang, dengan nilai terendah yaitu 2,21 dan tertinggi yaitu 5,04. Sedangkan pekerjaan pondasi memiliki 5 risiko dengan tingkat risiko rendah dan 1 tingkat risiko sedang, dengan nilai terendah yaitu 2,13 dan tertinggi yaitu 5,43. Kesimpulan: Pekerjaan struktur dan pekerjaan pondasi dalam Pembangunan IPAM memiliki 6 risiko. Pada pekerjaan struktur dan pondasi memiliki 5 risiko tingkat rendah dan 1 risiko tingkat sedang. Pengendalian dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan pengawasan yang ketat, memberi rambu pada tempat yang membutuhkan, melakukan safety talk sebelum bekerja, menggunakan APD yang sesuai, tepat dan lengkap. Saran: Pekerja diberi bimbingan mengenai metode kerja yang baik dan melakukan pelatihan khususnya terkait pentingnya K3 serta pentingnya APD agar para pekerja dapat lebih waspada.

Abstract

Usaha peternakan dapat memberikan keuntungan yaitu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan membuka lapangan pekerjaan, akan tetapi usaha ini menghasilkan limbah yang berdampak negatif bagi lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kualitas air permukaan di lokasi peternakan ayam yang terdapat di Desa Jagur berdasarkan parameter TSS, BOD, COD, amonia dan pH, mengetahui pengaruh peternakan ayam terhadap kenyamanan masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar lokasi kandang dan merencanakan sistem pengelolaan limbah peternakan ayam di Desa Jagur untuk pengendalian pencemaran air. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kualitas air permukaan di lokasi peternakan ayam telah melewati baku mutu berdasarkan parameter TSS, BOD, COD, amonia dan pH. Nilai parameter tertinggi berada di titik 2 yang mana titik tersebut dijadikan sebagai tempat aktivitas pencucian dari peternakan. Peternakan ayam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kenyamanan masyarakat seperti menimbulkan bau dan menyebabkan gatal pada kulit setelah menggunakan air parit yang tercemar oleh limbah peternakan. Sistem pengelolaan limbah cair yang dapat diterapkan yaitu membuat bak pencucian tersendiri yang langsung dialirkan ke Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL). IPAL yang direncanakan terdiri dari bak pengendap awal, biofilter anaerob dan pengendap akhir. Sistem pengelolaan limbah padat dari kotoran ayam dapat dilakukan dengan membuat wadah penampungan sementara sebelum kotoran dijual kepada pelanggan.

Abstract

The Integrated Islamic Elementary School (Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu, abbreviated as SDIT) Wisata Hasanah is one of the elementary schools in Pontianak City that implements the independent Murikulum Merdeka. In this curriculum, there is the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, abbreviated as P5), where students actively address relevant issues in their surroundings. In a previous P5 activity, training on waste sorting based on its types—organic and inorganic—was conducted. A field lecture was held at the Final Disposal Site (TPA) of Batu Layang, Pontianak in this community service activity to raise awareness and concern for the environment, develop responsibility, independence, and critical thinking skills. Waste management education needs to be carried out from an early age to produce human resources with expertise in science and technology, in line with achieving Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045. The students currently in elementary school will be the next generation to continue the nation's development. Activities at the TPA included delivering material, discussions, observations, and student feedback in the form of resumes and responses containing experiences, suggestions, input, and hopes. At the TPA site, students directly observed the facilities, infrastructure, and operational techniques of waste processing. The results of this activity included an increase in students' knowledge about waste management, an understanding of the impact of indiscriminate waste disposal and burning, and a commitment to environmental preservation. Community service is a form of collaboration and knowledge transfer between higher education institutions, elementary schools, and the government (Environmental Agency). Through this activity, it is hoped that students will develop environmental awareness and concern not only at school but also in their surrounding environment.

Abstract

PT Integrasi Aviasi Solusi is a service provider in the aviation industry covering ground handling, cargo, logistics, and operational support. Activities in the cargo segment involve a significant level of hazard risk, thereby requiring the implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) in accordance with regulations. This study aims to evaluate the hazard risk levels at the Pontianak Branch Office, assess the implementation level of SMK3 in accordance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012, and provide recommendations for improving risk control strategies. The Research data were obtained through field observations, interviews, documentation, and the use of OHSMS checklists. Risk analysis was conducted using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method and the AS/NZS 4360:2004 standard, while the evaluation of OHSMS implementation employed a regulatory compliance instrument. The results identified 54 potential hazards, consisting of 34 low-risk and 20 medium-risk hazards. The evaluation of OHSMS implementation showed a compliance level of 97%, with 62 criteria fulfilled and two criteria unmet (3%). These findings indicate that the implementation of OHSMS in the cargo unit has been carried out effectively; however, improvements in certain aspects are still required to strengthen the effectiveness of risk control.

Abstract

Due to workers' lack of awareness regarding the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the workplace, the level of work safety in Indonesia still needs to be higher. Construction projects require effective risk management in order to reduce workplace accidents. The construction project for the provision of sanitation facilities and infrastructure at religious education institutions works on the construction of the bathroom, latrines, toilets, ablution facilities, hand washing facilities, and clothes washing facilities, as well as a domestic wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). This study aims to identify hazards based on the project under study, analyze the OHS risk assessment based on the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 10 of 2021, and analyze the hazards and risk control efforts at each project stage. The result of this study showed that there are 78 risks found in 9 stages of work. Based on the risk assessment of the project under study, two levels of risk were identified, namely low risk and medium risk. A score of a moderate risk level of 6.57 was found in the installation of fabricated WWTP that showed injury risk due to materials and equipment at the Al-Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, Mubarak Islamic Boarding School, and Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, falling risk due to uneven surface conditions in the Pondok Pesantren Darul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School and the risk of falling into a dug hole at the Nahdotus Shibiyan Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School has a treatment capacity of 33 m3 and an area of 24 m2. Based on the results of initial wastewater quality tests on communal WWTP, the TSS, COD, and BOD parameters are above the quality standard threshold based on the Wastewater Quality Standard of the Minister of Environment Regulation Number 68 of 2016. This evaluation aims to determine the processing efficiency of communal WWTP and evaluate the processing unit in communal WWTP as well as alternative improvements that effectively reduce the parameters of pH, TSS, BOD, COD, and fatty oils. This research method is descriptive analytics, which analyses problems from data collected descriptively to find solutions to problems. The results of this evaluation show that the TSS, COD, and BOD parameters are above the quality standard threshold. The pH parameter increased by 3.6%, removal efficiency for BOD by 76.4%, COD by 71.9%, TSS by 84.3%, and oil grease by 91.9%. Alternative WWTP improvements are carried out by redesigning the Communal WWTP, which consists of calculating the equalization unit, precipitator I, anaerobic filter, Precipitator II, disinfection, and sludge thickener, Sludge digester, sludge drying bed and analysis of the Budget Plan Cost (RAB). The communal WWTP redesign requires a land area of 52.62 m2 with a processing capacity of 56.8 m3 and a cost budget plan of Rp.157,224,000.00. The redesign results of this evaluation can reduce environmental impacts due to domestic wastewater.

Abstract

Clean water is essential for human life; however, its distribution in Kubu Raya Regency remains limited, prompting residents to rely on dug wells as their primary water source. In the Hosana Fhileo residential area, groundwater quality exceeds permissible limits, with iron (Fe) concentration at 14.41 mg/L and turbidity at 288 NTU, surpassing the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023. Concurrently, the abundance of eggshell waste offers potential for its use as a natural coagulant due to its calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) content. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of eggshell powder as a coagulant in reducing iron concentration and turbidity in groundwater, and to compare it with the chemical coagulant Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC). Laboratory-scale jar tests were conducted in two stages: the first used eggshell powder at 30, 50, and 70 g/L, while the second used PAC at 60, 70, and 80 g/L. Results showed that a 70 g/L dose of eggshell powder reduced iron concentration by 34.52% to 9.44 mg/L (p = 0.003 < 0.05) and turbidity by 90.61% to 27.05 NTU (p = 0.002 < 0.05). In contrast, a 60 g/L PAC dose increased iron levels to 16.32 mg/L (p = 0.002 < 0.05), but reduced turbidity by 84.57% to 44.43 NTU (p = 0.001 < 0.05). These findings indicate that eggshell powder is a promising eco- friendly coagulant. However, its Fe removal efficiency may be improved through process optimization, such as pH adjustment to enhance coagulation performance.

Abstract

Every ISO standard will be evaluated every 5 years to decide whether a revision is needed in order to keep the relevance toward today"™s marketplace. In 2015, ISO issued the latest international standard version of EMS ISO 14001: 2015 and officially substitute the older version which was ISO 14001:2004. ISO 14001:2015 meets the objectives by drawing together relevant external and internal issues (4.1) with the requirements of interested parties (4.2). These address the concept of preventive action and in part establishes the context for the EMS (4.3) in the organization. Ever since the 2015 version was released, the organization has 3 years to make the transition from the 2004 version to the latest version until September 2018. This research analysis was carried out using a checklist by the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) to measure the implementation of EMS ISO 14001;2015 then categorize the result to the predefined category which are initial compliance level, transition level, and advanced level. The result shows the entire level of implementation ISO 14001:2015 on   PT. AZ was categorized into an advanced level with score 169 but seen from the lowest percentage was on clause 4   Context of the Organization which was a new clause in the 2015 version. Thus, the 3 years transition period was not enough for the organization to entirely implement the standard.Keywords: Environmental Management System, ISO 14001, Transition.  AbstrakSeluruh standar ISO dilakukan evaluasi dan peninjauan setiap 5 tahun untuk menjaga relevansi terhadap pasar. Sehingga pada tahun 2015 lalu, ISO mengeluarkan standar internasional SML versi baru yaitu ISO 14001:2015 dan secara resmi menggantikan standar sebelumnya yaitu ISO 14001:2004. ISO 14001:2015  lebih memerhatikan isu-isu lingkungan melalui dua klausul baru yaitu konteks organisasi dimana organisasi harus menentukan isu eksternal dan internal (4.1) serta memerhatikan kebutuhan dan harapan dari pihak berkepentingan (4.2). Hal ini merupakan tindakan preventif mencapai konteks bagi SML   (4.3) di organisasi tersebut. Sejak dikeluarkan pembaharuan pada September 2015, organisasi diberikan waktu untuk melakukan transisi dari standar lama ke standar versi selama 3 tahun yaitu hingga tahun 2018. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan checklist yang dikeluarkan oleh Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) untuk menilai implementasi SML ISO 14001 :2015 lalu mengkategorikan hasil penilaian pada kategori yang telah ditentukan yaitu tingkat pemenuhan awal, tingkat transisi, dan tingkat lanjut. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan penerapan ISO 14001 :2015   di PT. AZ   berada kategori tingkat lanjut dengan   skor 169   tetapi jika dilihat presentase penerapan terendah ada pada klausul 4   Konteks Organisasi yang merupakan klausul baru di versi 2015. Dengan demikian, masa transisi selama 3 tahun masih belum cukup bagi perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menerapkan seluruh persyaratan dalam klausul baru. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan Konsentrasi Letal 50% (LC50) limbah tahu pada ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dan menganalisis hubungan antara parameter kualitas air dan mortalitas ikan. Pengujian toksisitas akut dilakukan selama 96 jam menggunakan metode uji peremajaan dengan ikan nila sebagai organisme uji. Percobaan terdiri dari beberapa konsentrasi limbah tahu, dan larutan uji diperbarui setiap 24 jam. Data mortalitas dicatat dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Minitab untuk menentukan nilai LC50. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai LC50 96 jam adalah 8,545%, sedangkan nilai Satuan Toksisitas Akut (TUa) adalah 11,70, menunjukkan bahwa limbah tahu menunjukkan toksisitas akut yang tinggi. Analisis kualitas air menunjukkan Kebutuhan Oksigen Biologis (BOD) sebesar 871,62 mg/L, Kebutuhan Oksigen Kimia (COD) sebesar 2.149,66 mg/L, Total Padatan Tersuspensi (TSS) sebesar 947,82 mg/L, pH 4,08, dan konsentrasi amonia 3,81 mg/L, yang semuanya melebihi standar kualitas air yang ditetapkan. Peningkatan konsentrasi air limbah dikaitkan dengan tingkat kematian ikan nila yang lebih tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa air limbah tahu yang tidak diolah berpotensi menurunkan kualitas air secara signifikan dan menimbulkan risiko serius bagi organisme akuatik, menekankan perlunya pengolahan air limbah yang tepat sebelum dibuang ke lingkungan.
