Abstract

Career awareness is part of the career maturity that a child needs to achieve and needs to be provided at the primary school level. One of the media used by counselors/teachers in delivering career counseling services for elementary school children is Pop-up Book. This research is a type of development research that uses the Research and Development (R&D) technique developed by Borg and Gall until the revision stage of the test results of prospective product users. The research sample was selected using the simple random sampling technique. The research subjects were elementary school students in grade 6. The researcher involved three experts validates to assess the level, relevance, accuracy, readability, and feasibility of the media (material experts, media experts, and elementary school education experts). The instruments used were an assessment scale and a readability questionnaire for trials on elementary students. The data obtained were quantitative and qualitative data and were analyzed by manual counting using formulas. The professional pop-up book as a medium for primary school student career services developed by researchers has fulfilled relevance, accuracy, readability, and feasibility. These media are declared valid and can be used as alternative media to provide career information services for elementary school students. The results of expert testing and testing of prospective product users obtained 80.2 results with very feasible criteria to be applied and used as an alternative media for guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program has a positive impact on the competencies of Guidance and Counseling students in the field as practitioners. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the successful implementation of the MBKM program among students. A qualitative method was employed, utilizing a case study design with a program review option. Six students were selected as research subjects using the random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study included interview sheets, evaluation sheets, and documentation forms. Thematic analysis was utilized to examine the collected data. The analysis results indicate that three general themes contribute positively to the competencies of counselors: supporting system, experience learning, and satisfaction. The supporting system includes institutional support, mentorship, and student resources. Experience learning refers to the hands-on, practical experiences that students gain in the field, which enhance their understanding and skills. Satisfaction encompasses the students' overall contentment with the program and their perceived value of the learning experiences. Based on these results, this study can serve as a reference for future evaluations and improvements in implementing the MBKM program. These findings underscore the importance of a well-supported learning environment, practical experience, and student satisfaction in developing the competencies of Guidance and Counseling students in the field.

Abstract

Poor self-concept in adolescents, one of which can be seen from the lack of self-confidence. The student who has confidence will be certain in their abilities and have realistic expectations, and when expectations do not materialize, they still think positively and can receive it. Unrealistic expectations can be reduced by using techniques that can direct students to control negative cognitive behaviors and thoughts that cause low student confidence (overt-covert). Wilcoxon test analysis results show that sig. (2-tailed) 0.042 <0.05 which can be interpreted as a technique of self-instruction can increase the confidence of students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Singosari, with a significant level of 5%. The use of self-instruction techniques as an alternative technique to increase student confidence starts from rational procedures, self-guidance, overt external guidance, overt self-guidance, faded overt self-guidance, covert self-guidance, and homework.

Abstract

Profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan hal penting dalam pembentukan multiliterasi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini aladah untuk menganalisis impelemnetasi profil pelajar pencasila dalam pembentukan budaya multiliterasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian di SDN Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mulai dari pembelajaran intrakulikuler, aktivitas kokulikuler serta ekstrakulikuler yang berpusat ke Pembangunan karakter serta keahlian yang ditumbuhkan pada keseharian dan dimunculkan pda pribadi. Implemantasi kegiatan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam budaya multiliterasi sesuai dengan: bertakwa kepada tuhan YME, beriman, mandiri, bernalar kritis, berakhlak mulia, kreatif, gotong royong, berkebineka global, Komunikasi dan Pemahaman yang tinggi serta kalaborasi. Bentuk kegiatan tersebut yaitu (1) pembelajaran agama dan keyakinan sesuai agama yang dianut masing-masing siswa, (2) melaksanakan kewajiban upacara bendera, (3) mendapatkan hak Pendidikan yang sama, (4) melaksanakan kontrak belajar, (5) memberikan tugas-tugas mandiri sebagai kewajiban, (6) kegiatan Kerjasama diskusi kelompok di kelas, (7) kegiatan adiwiyata dengan seluruh warga sekolah, (8) kewirausahaan, (9) mengikuti ekstrakulikuler untuk melestarikan budaya lokal

Abstract

This research aimed to increase students’ conceptual understanding of photosynthesis in science subject through the stages of initial experimentation, observation, hypothesis preparation, verification, and application of the concept in experimental methods. The researchers investigated how science learning on photosynthesis using experimental methods could improve student learning outcomes. This research employed a classroom action research as a type of research. The research design followed the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model that was composed of four stages in each cycle: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection instruments included observation sheets, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The research began with the pre-cycle and followed by cycles I and II. The research findings showed that student learning outcomes could be improved through the use of experimental methods in photosynthesis and science subject. This was supported by an increase in percentage results from pre-cycle (18%), cycle I (56%), and cycle II (78%). Therefore, it could be concluded that the experimental method was able to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN Gadang 1 Malang City in the science subject of photosynthesis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media belajar LKPD Elektronik Pembelajaran Tematik Berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) untuk Siswa Kelas Rendah yaitu siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ADDIE perpanjangan dari Anlayisis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitaian ini adalah 10 orang siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penilaian E-LKPD dalam kemenarikan media, dikategorikan sangat baik dengan persentase 83,34%.rata-rata 4,16. Sedangkah hasil evaluasi ahli materi tentang kedalaman materi dalam E-LKPD dikategorikan sangat baik dengan persentase 93,82% rata-rata 4,69. Hasil respon siswa sebagai pengguna E-LKPD dinilai baik dengan persentase 79,61% dan rata-rata 3,98. Serangkaian komentar pengguna dalam kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa penampilan E-LKPD menarik, membangkitkan minat belajar dan membuat siswa lebih memahami materi. Kebaruan penelitian ini adalah dihasilkannya LKPD dalam bentuk elektronik sehingga dapat diakses secara fleksibel, menarik, dan bervariasi. Selain itu soal-soal latihan yang disajikan dalam E-LKPD ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa karena berbasis High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).

Abstract

The Student Worksheets (LKPD) available so far only contain black and white writing. In addition, the pictures and questions presented did not attract students' interest in learning. Therefore, it is necessary to develop LKPD that can attract students' learning interests. This study aims to develop Electronic LKPD (E-LKPD) thematic learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This research is a type of development research (RnD). The development model uses the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. The E-LKPD product that has been developed is then tested on validators, teachers, and students to determine the effectiveness of its use. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively. Validation is carried out by three validators, namely content, material, and language validators. The research instrument is a teacher response questionnaire for practicality and a student response questionnaire for attractiveness. The average validation result of media experts is 3.6 with the "very valid" category, while the material expert is 3.83 with the "very valid" category and the linguist is 2.83 in the "valid" category with revisions. The results of the analysis of the practicality of the E-LKPD can be assessed from the results of the teacher's questionnaire score obtained a score of 3.43 in the "very practical" category while the results of the analysis of the attractiveness of the E-LKPD obtained from the results of the student questionnaire score with a score of 3.19 in the "good" category. Based on the trial, it was concluded that the results of developing the E-LKPD product for HOTS-based thematic learning were valid, practical, and interesting to use in learning in grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

Several School for Students with Special Needs (SLB) in Malang and Kediri East Java have implemented entepreneurship-based education approach for their students, including SLB Autis River Kids Kota Malang dan SLB Raharja Sejahtera Kediri. They both provide “a special vocational class” which is a starting point for business pioneering and employment opportunities for their teenagers’ students. By having this special vocational class that produces several products, it can support the students’ independence since they are quite difficult to work outside their environment. The purpose of the PKM program is to optimize the value added of this class’ products through providing e-commerce website and implementing Quality Function Development (QFD) method. Based on the analysis of the issues, the combination of training, mentoring, reflection and sustainability of program become a series of PKM activities. The result shows that both schools have e-commerce website instead of profile website, they can increase production capacity and its sales, product variations and packaging by using a new machine, impelement QFD concept in production process, prepare informative financial report and have another reference regarding education management in SLB. Abstract

Kelas vokasi istimewa merupakan rintisan kelas yang mempersiapkan penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan dan usaha mandiri bagi siswa SLB autis dengan usia diatas 16 tahun. Dengan mempertimbangkan aspek keistimewaan siswa, kelas ini melatih mereka belajar mandiri, menghasilkan produk dan pendapatan pribadi, mengingat keberadaan keluarga tidak akan selalu ada. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah bagaimana pengelola kelas vokasi istimewa dapat menerapkan prinsip-prinsip QFD dalam rangka merespon kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan mutu produk vokasi yang berorientasi pada pelanggan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan penguatan entepreneurship sebagaimana tujuan didirikannya kelas ini. Sesuai permasalahan yang dihadapi, kombinasi metode pendampingan, konsultasi, pelatihan dan praktek baik serta refleksi menjadi pendekatan kegiatan pengabdian ini. Hasil pengabdian meliputi penerapan QFD melalui pengembangan kemasan produk, perancangan kembali produk serta penguatan pemahaman dan perubahan mind set tentang QFD. Selain penerapan QFD, sekolah juga mendapatkan penguatan materi manajemen pendidikan untuk vokasi istimewa.

Abstract

Anak usia sekolah dasar termasuk berada dalam fase kesadaran karir. Usia dimana anak mengembangkan berbagai potensi, pandangan khas, sikap, minat dan kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang dipadukan dalam konsep diri (self-concept structure). Oleh karena itu pendidikan karir perlu diberikan sejak awal perkembangan individu dengan menggunakan beragam jenis media bisa diaplikasikan dalam proses pemberian layanan ataupun pembelajaran kepada siswa. Pop-up buger adalah buku gerak kreasi buatan tangan (handmade) yang mempunyai tampilan bisa dilihat dari berbagai arah pandang dan mempunyai panjang, lebar, dan tinggi/tebal atau yang biasa disebut dengan buku tiga dimensi sebagai sumber belajar. Pop-up buger yang digunakan oleh pengabdi dalam pengenalan tentang karir siswa sekolah dasar adalah pop-up kombinasi dari transformation dan pull-tabs. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi di SD IT Insan Mulia, diketahui selama ini dalam menyampaikan materi guru hanya memberikan informasi yang mencerminkan profesi dalam pembelajaran karir melalui penjelasan tanpa bantuan media interaktif. Pop-up buger yang digunakan nantinya dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif media dalam upaya meningkatkan wawasan siswa SD mengenai macam-macam profesi. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yang pertama melakukan observasi dan wawancara tentang pengetahuan karir siswa SD IT Insan Mulia. Tahap kedua, memperkenalkan pop-up buger yang berisi macam-macam profesi kepada siswa SD. Tahap ketiga, memperkenalkan macam-macam profesi dan melatihkan keterampilan baru yaitu berani tampil di depan kelas dengan mengulang cerita tentang sebuah profesi dengan menggunakan media pop-up buger. Target luaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bertambahnya wawasan dan pengetahuan siswa SD IT Insan Mulia mengenai macam-macam profesi di lingkungan sekitarnya. Sedangkan bagi Guru dapat mengetahui dan bahkan terinspirasi membuat pop-up buger sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran.
