Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of Rootone-F concentration and Long Cuttings on chrysanthemum shoot cuttings. This research was conducted in Green House in Agro Pudak Lestari, Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The time in this study was held for 21 days, from 2, April 2018 to 22, April 2018. This experiment was a factorial experiment using a randomized block design (RBD) pattern. The first treatment of Rootone-F (R) concentration consists of four levels, namely Control: (R0), a concentration of 225 mg.l-1: (R1), a concentration of 450 mg.l-1: (R2), a concentration of 675 mg.l-1: (R3). The second treatment is the length of cuttings consisting of three levels, namely the length of cuttings 4 cm: P1, the length of cuttings 7 cm: P2, the length of cuttings 10 cm: P3. The results of the study show that the interaction between Rootone-F with Long Cuttings has no significant effect (P≥0.05) on all observed variables. The treatment of Rootone-F concentration had a very significant effect (P

Abstract

Pinge is one of the traditional sub-village (banjar) in Baru Village, Marga Sub district, Tabanan Regency of Bali Province. There are 36% of villagers living below the poverty line where 85% of them are farmers who cultivate fruit and flowers. They have many problems with fruit and flower production as the yields is low due to natural disasters and poor agricultural practice and support. Some flower growers often complain of low flower production, especially Marigold flowers due to the attack of pathogenic fungi that cause flower blight. The solution to solve the problems faced by partners is: by providing Appropriate Technology in the processing of cow dung into compost fertilizer plus trichoderma sp antagonist microorganisms. External targets to be achieved are the use of appropriate technology in the processing technology of cow dung into compost plus Trichoderma sp. Based on the results of activities as much as 70% understand and are able to apply pest and disease control to flowers by utilizing biological agents. Trichoderma can reduce the intensity of disease above the ground by 50.00% and suppress the intensity in the soil by 34.48%. In addition, giving Trichoderma sp. can increase the fresh weight of the plant by up to 30.75%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of goat fertilizer and TSP fertilizer on the growth and yield of chrysanthemum (Chrysantenum morifolium R.), conducted at the green house of Pudak Lestari Agrotourism, Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, from May to in August 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors arranged factorially. The first factor tested was goat manure (K), which consisted of 4 dose levels, namely: K0 = 0 tons/ha, K1 = 15 tons/ha, K2 = 30 tons/ha, K3 = 45 tons/ha while the second factor was TSP (T) fertilizer consisting of 4 dose levels, namely: T0 = 0 kg/ha, T1 = 175 kg/ha, T2 = 350 kg/ha, T3 = 525 kg/ha, each of which was repeated 3 times so that there are 48 trial plots. The research results showed that the interaction between goat manure and TSP fertilizer had no significant effect on all observed variables. Treatment of goat manure had a significant effect only on leaf area, flower diameter, long weight of flower stalks, fresh weight of economic flowers and other variables had no significant effect. The highest economic fresh weight of flowers was obtained from goat manure at a dose of 45 tons ha-1, namely 48.25 g, an increase of 23.97% when compared to no goat manure, namely 38.92 g. The TSP fertilizer treatment obtained the highest plant height and flower diameter in the TSP fertilizer treatment at a dose of 525 kg ha-1, namely 12.67 cm and 10.18 cm compared to that without TSP fertilizer application, namely 10.71 cm and 9.40 cm.

Abstract

The concept of implementing Blue Economy is highly expected in this activity. The implementation of Zero Waste of Community Partnership Program conducted at Ni Wayan Sarimi’s household industry turned waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer. The purpose is to provide Liquid Organic Fertilizer Manufacturing Technology in managing tuna skin waste. The method began with partner’s application to Service Team, doing examination and interview by the team to find out the partner’s problems. The team conducted Counseling related to Liquid Organic Fertilizer Production, Packaging, and Marketing and did practicing three (3) times. The results include making Liquid Organic Fertilizer properly, having new products with good packaging to be sold, publishing activities on Electronic Media or Journals, and uploading activities videos on YouTube.

Abstract

Chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum morifolium R.), is an ornamental plant that has economic value and has the potential to be developed in national and international trade. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of cow manure and NPK fertilizer dosage on growth and yield of chrysanthemum plants. The hypothesis put forward in this study was that cow manure (20 tons ha-1) and NPK fertilizer doses (1000 kg/ha) could increase growth and yield of chrysanthemum plants. The experimental design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design with 2 treatments, namely the type of organic cow manure (S) consisting of 4 levels, namely: S0 = without cow manure, S1 = 10 ton/ha-1 cow manure, S2 = 20 tons/ha-1 cow manure, S3 = 30 tons/ha-1 cow manure, and the dosage of NPK fertilizer consists of 4 levels, namely: D0= without NPK fertilizer, D1= 1000 kg/ha, D2= 2000 kg/ha, D3 = 3000 kg/ha. Research data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance. For a single treatment that had a significant to very significant effect, it was continued with the LSD test at the 5% level. The results of statistical analysis showed that the interaction between the type of cow manure and the dose of NPK fertilizer (S x D) had no significant effect on (P≥0.05) on all observed variables. The highest economic fresh weight of flowers was obtained at the type of manure 20 tons/ha, namely 26.53 g, compared to no organic fertilizer, namely 23.55 g. The highest economic fresh weight of flowers was at a dose of NPK 1000 kg/ha (D1), namely: 26.26 g, compared to NPK 2000 kg/ha is 24.98 g.
