This study aims to analyze the economic benefits, income of rice farming, allocation of credit usage and analyze the factors affecting the chances of the smoothness rate of return at Seandanan Agricultural Cooperatives. The research is conducted at Seandanan Agricultural Cooperative in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province, which is determined intentionally. The research data were taken in July 2019. This study uses a case study method. Respondents in this study are 70 rice farmers member of Seandanan Agricultural Cooperative. The data analysis method use descriptive qualitative and quantitative analyses. The results showed that the economic benefits received by members of cooperative in one year is IDR1,711,312.47 and in high category. The average income of rice farming received by members of the Seandanan Agricultural Cooperative in one year has been classified as high, in the amount over cash costs and over total costs, respectively, of IDR17,308,552.78 and IDR16,416,268.56. Allocation of credit of cooperative membersconsistd of 58.85% for productive activities and the rest, 41.15% for consumptive activities. Factors that affect the chances of the smoothness rate of credit return by rice farmers members of Seandanan Agricultural Cooperative are the education level of farmers and the allocation of productive credit usage.Key words: agricultural cooperatives, consumptive, credit, and productive

This research aims to analyze the cooperative economic and noneconomic benefits received by members of LKM-A Gapoktan Sari Makmur Cooperative, the household income of cooperative members, and welfare level of cooperative members. This research was conducted by case study method in LKM-A Gapoktan Sari Makmur Cooperative, East Metro subdistrict. The locations were selected purposively. Data was collected from January to February 2018. The 42 research samples were taken by simple random sampling. Data was analyzed by the economic benefits of cooperative analysis, analysis of noneconomic benefits using Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis, the household income of cooperative members, and analysis of welfare level. The results showed that the economic benefits received cooperative members was on low category and members were satisfied with the service of cooperative and fulfilled their needs. The household income of cooperative members was on high category. All of cooperative members considered as welfare families.Key word : benefits, cooperative, income, welfare

This research aims to analyze the level of technical efficiency, technical inefficiency factors, and economic efficiency of corn farming of members and nonmembers of farmer groups. This research was conducted in the Gedung Wani and Negeri Katon Villages of Marga Tiga District, East Lampung. Respondent farmers were determined intentionally with a simple random sampling. This research use a survey method and the data were collected in February-March 2019. Technical efficiency, technical inefficiency factors, and economic efficiency were analyzed using the Stochastic Frontier 4.1. The results showed that corn farming in Marga Tiga District was technically efficient, with an efficiency of 0.95. The number of family members can increase technical inefficiency, age and experience can reduce technical inefficiency, while education and farmer groups membership do not affect technical inefficiency. Corn farming in Marga Tiga District was also economically efficient with an efficiency level 0.89 for members of farmer groups and 0.90 for non-members of farmer groups.Key words: corn farming, efficiency, farmer groups

The purpose of this research are to analyze the procurement process of raw materials on six precision (on time, right place, right quality, right quantity, right type, and right price), processing activities to earn income and create added value of products, distribution channels in product marketing activities, the roles of supporting services, and consumer behavior of wheat flour and wet noodle. This research uses a case study method at Multi Sari 99 Agroindustry in Panjang District, Bandar Lampung City. Data were collected in January – April 2018 and analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative analyses. The results of this research showed that the six components of raw materials procurement process of Multi Sari 99 Agroindustry had been done precisely. The income earned by Multi Sari 99 Agroindustry was Rp2,009,349.54/100 kg wheat flour. Mi Basah Multi Sari 99 Agroindustry was considered viable since it had possitive added value and profitable as R/C ratio value was more than one. There were two channels in marketing activities of wet noodle product. Supporting services utilized by the agroindustry had given positive impacts toward agroindustry activities. Wheat flour consumers and wet noodles consumers did not understand about food diversification program. Consumers would still consume wet noodles even though they know that the raw materials are imported.Key words : agroindustry, consumer, performance, wet noodle

This research aims to know the comparativeness and competitiveness of coffee farming and the quality of the coffee beans produced in Sumberjaya Subdistric of West Lampung Regency.The research used a survey method in which respondents were 71coffee farmers. This research was done at Tugusari Village from April-June 2015. The data was analized by the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) and by descriptive analysis using comparation to standard of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), namely ICO 407 and SNI 01-2907-2008. The result showed that coffee farming in Sumberjaya Distric had comparative and competitiveness with 0.35 DRCR / DRC and 0.83 PCR.Coffee farming had quality according to GMP in every harvest and post-harvest processes such as picking, sorting, processing, packaging and storage.Key words: comparativeness, competitiveness, and GMP

The purpose of this research are to: study realization of treaty in beef cattle fattening, study the procurement process of raw materials to meet the six precise (on time, exact place, quality, quantity, type, and price), analyze profits of beef cattle fattening, study the marketing channels of beef cattle fattening, study the supporting services’s role to beef cattle fattening. This research is a case study at Gunung Madu Cooperation in Gunung Batin Baru Village, Terusan Nunyai Sub District, Central Lampung Regency that is choosen on purpose with consideration that Gunung Madu Cooperation partnershiped with PT Indo Prima Beef about one year. The data collected in December 2016 and analyzed by a qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of research showed that the realization of treaty between Gunung Madu Cooperation and PT Indo Prima Beef have a good realization until three period. The raw materials procurement of beef cattle fattening met the component of six precise. Beef cattle fattening in Gunung Madu Cooperation was viable because its R/C ratio value was greater than one in one to three periods. The marketing channels of beef cattle fattening were precised because involving the intitutional agency. All supporting services were utilized by beef cattle fattening Gunung Madu Cooperation namely extension services, transportations, government policies, information and communication technnology give positive role.Key words: agribusiness system, beef cattle, cooperation, partnership

The purposes of this research are to compare the corn farmer’s income between Tani Makmur Cooperative’s member and non member in Natar District Lampung Selatan and knowing the impact of cooperative membership for corn farmer who is member of Tani Makmur cooperative in Natar District South Lampung Regency. This research was taken place in Natar village from Juni 2013 to September 2013. The total of respondents are 48 corn farmers, consisting of 24 farmer members and 24 farmers not members of Tani Makmur Cooperative. They are chosen by using Simple Random Sampling Technique. Data used include primary and secondary data. Primary data are obtained by interviewing respondents using questionnaires. Secondary data are obtained from various literatures, printed media and some related agencies. The results of statistical analysis showed that there is a significant differentiation of corn farmer’s income between Tani Makmur Cooperative’s Members and Non Members in Natar Districk South Lampung Regency. The average income in first season of cooperative member (Rp8,257,396.09) was larger than the average income of corn farmer non cooperative member (Rp7,728,231.10). In the second season, the average income of corn farmer cooperative member also larger (Rp4,749,114.97) than the average income of corn farmer non cooperative members (Rp4,448,974.41). The number of Cooperative economic benefits for members of the cooperative was Rp1,450,000.00 and the number of accounted benefits was Rp9,210,000.00 which derived from the difference price of production means such as Phonska fertilizer, urea fertilizer, and SP-36 fertilizer. The average number of cooperative economic benefits for total household income was Rp60,416.67, or 0.003 percent of the total household income per year cooperative member farmers. This study aims to analyze the profit of corn farming gained by members and nonmembers of farmer groups and relative economic efficiency of those members and non-members. This research was conducted in Natar District South Lampung Regency. The total of 76 farmers was used as samples including 36 members of corn farmer groups and 40 farmers nonmembers. It was analyzed through income analysis, and profit functions. The results showed that during farming seasons 1 and 2, the income of members of farmer groups was significantly higher than that of nonmembers. During farming seasons 1 and 2, members of farmer groups have a higher level of economic efficiency compared to nonmembers.Key words: corn farming income, farmer group members, relative economic efficiency

This research aims to analyze consumen’s behavior and strategies in the development of siger rice agroindustry. This research used a case study method.The samples are stakeholder on agroindustry and consumen of siger rice. Technique sampling for consumers is snowballing. The method of data analyzes used descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this research showed that: The consumen’s satisfaction that seen from the repay of siger rice product and consumers have information and knowledge about the characteristics of siger rice, Combination value IFE was 0.19 and value of EFE was-0.05 in the IE matrix shows that the position the businessin quadran II. Its mean the agroindustry are in the a readiversification. The best priority strategies for developing the agroindustry are in creasing the capital of agroindustry from agroindustry fund and government institutions to fullfill the demand of siger rice. The purpose of this research is to analyze cooperative’s performance as a business entity, performance related to development, performance towards the interests of cooperative members, as well as economic and non-economic benefits received by members. This research was conducted at KUD Mina Dermaga using a case study method, the location was selected purposively with the consideration that the cooperative has not yet been ranked by researchers or local agencies. Responses stating that 30 people members. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis, customer satisfaction index analysis, and importance performance analysis. The results of this study indicate that the performance of business entities and performance related to the development of KUD Mina Dermaga are included in the qualified category. The performance of KUD Mina Dermaga in the interests of its members is of sufficient quality category. The economic benefits received by members are the difference in the cost of buying and selling services . The total annual average economic benefits received by KUD Mina Dermaga members are IDR 508,358.26. The non-economic benefits members on service performance and meeting the needs of members are in the high category (satisfied).Keyword : KUD, member satisfaction, performance
