Abstract

On the West Sumatra-Riau highway, which is in Kenagarian Sarilamak, we can find quite severe road damage, namely uneven road surfaces and potholes, so accidents often occur. According to data from the Police in Lima Puluh Kota, the information was obtained that in the last four years there were 43 cases of accidents that resulted in property loss and human life. With these conditions, efforts are needed to determine the factors that cause traffic accidents and efforts to reduce accidents. The first step is to search for primary data by conducting a field survey to find out the cause of the accident. Secondary data was obtained from the Fifty City Police, namely data on the number of accidents in 2018-2021. From the analysis of the factors causing accidents, the human factor is in the highest category with an average percentage of 93.33% and the highest accident rate occurred in 2018, as many as 43 accident cases, with 3 people dead and 28 lightly injured. And from the correlation results, the results obtained that the number of incidents has a low correlation with a correlation value (r) of 0.168, and the severity of the victim is quite correlated with the number of accidents with a correlation value (r) of 0.96, and the cause of accidents is highly correlated with a correlation value of (r) 0, 96. Suggestions from this research are that the handling and awareness of humans as drivers and pedestrians needs to be improved.Keywords: traffic accident, factor of accident, correlation

Abstract

Abstrack: The Payakumbuh signalless intersection is a busy traffic intersection due to the high volume of vehicles and high side friction caused by market activity. The Pasar Ibuh intersection connects four sub-districts so that many vehicles pass through the intersection which can cause traffic jams and even traffic accidents. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the signalless intersection of Pasar Ibuh Payakumbuh and find alternative solutions to the problems that occur at these intersections. The research method used is to calculate and observe the volume of traffic flow through recording and observing the location of the intersection to find out the geometry of the intersection and existing side barriers. This research concludes that the peak hour of traffic flow at the Pasar Ibuh Payakumbuh intersection occurs at 16:00 - 17:00 WIB. From the analysis results, the capacity value (C) is = 2824.557 smp/hour, traffic flow (Q) is = 2399 smp/hour, delay (D) is = 14.161 seconds/smp, and the degree of saturation value (DS) is = 0.85. Based on the value of the degree of saturation, the performance level of the intersection is not good. The alternative is to prohibit turning right for minor roads. So that the resulting analysis is a capacity value (C) of = 3172.826 smp/hour, traffic flow (Q) of = 2399 smp/hour, delay (D) of = 12.715 seconds/smp, and the degree of saturation (DS) = 0.76, based on the value of the degree of saturation, it can be concluded that the intersection performance is good.Keywords : Signalless Three-way Intersection, Side Barriers, Degree of Saturation, Intersection Performance, Performance Evaluation

Abstract

Abstrak:  Jalan raya merupakan prasarana yang sangat menunjang bagi pergerakan aktivitas masyarakat, apabila terjadi kerusakan jalan dapat berdampak pada kondisi sosial dan ekonomi terutama pada sarana transportasi darat. Penyebab kerusakan jalan banyak diakibatkan oleh beban kendaraan yang melintas melebihi dari beban kendaraan yang direncanakan dan jumlah volume kendaraan yang terus meningkat melebihi kapasitas jalan. Salah satu jalan yang mengalami kerusakan yaitu pada jalan Subarang Taram Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota yang mengalami kerusakan berat seperti berlubang­, sering tergenang air saat hujan, keretakan dan pelepasan butiran jalan, sehingga mengganggu kenyaman dan keamanan pengguna jalan. Pengambilan judul ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kerusakan yang terjadi dan mengetahui nilai kondisi perkerasan jalan pada ruas jalan Subarang Taram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Bina Marga dan Metode PCI. Kerusakan yang terjadi di sepanjang jalan Subarang Taram, Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota mulai dari STA 0+000 sampai dengan STA 1+000 diantaranya lubang, retak kulit buaya, pelepasan butiran, Tambalan. Dari perhitungan analisa kerusakan jalan dengan menggunakan metode bina marga didapat bahwa jalan Subarang Taram berada pada prioritas 9 yang artinya jalan yang dimasukkan kedalam program pemeliharaan rutin. Untuk perhitungan analisa kerusakan jalan dengan menggunakan metode PCI didapat bahwa jalan tersebut berada pada kondisi Sedang (fair).Kata Kunci : Jalan, PCI, Bina Marga

Abstract

Boraks pada saat sekarang ini banyak digunakan oleh produsen makanan dalam mengolah makanannya seperti alam pembuatan mie basah, lontong/ketupat, baksi, sosis dan bahkan ada yang digunakan dalam pembuatan kecap. Penyalahgunaan boraks sebagai bahan aditif pada pangan ini banyak dilakukan para pengusaha kuliner yang ingin mengambil banyak keuntungan dari konsumen-konsumennya. Adapun tujuan dari penambahan boraks pada makanan adalah meningkatkan daya awet dan menciptakan tekstur yang kenyal. Borakspun mudah didapatkan dipasaran yang dikenal dengan sebutan bleng, pijer ata gendar. Mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung boraks memang tidak serta berakibat buruk secara langsung, tetapi penumpukan boraks yang diserap oleh tubuh akan menyebabkan gangguan otak, hati dan ginjal. Oleh karena itu perlu kita mengadakan pengabdian kepada mitra pengabdian kita yaitu ibu-ibu yang bergabung dalam Ikatan Keluarga Koto Laweh yang berdomisili dikota Padang dengan tujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan mitra pengabdian ini mengenai bahaya boraks pada makanan. yang termakan secara terus menerus, ciri-ciri makanan yang mengandung boraks, dan pencegahan kita supaya tidak mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung boraks. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi serta pemberian angket sebelum dan sesuda sosialisasi. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkannya pengetahuan mitra mengenai bahaya boraks terhadap makanan dari 50% ke 91.50% dan diharapkan mitra bisa berusaha untuk lebih teliti lagi membeli makanan jajanan serta lebih mengupayakan untuk memakan makanan yang diolah sendiri dengan bahan-bahan yang alami tanpa pengawet agar terhindar dari penyakit-penyakit yang disebabkan oleh penumpukan bahan aditif terutama pengawet pada tubuh.

Abstract

Masalah sampah menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam lingkungan hidup yang paling signifikan terjadi di Indonesia termasuk Kota Padang. Bank sampah merupakan salah satu solusi dari Pemerintah dimana bank sampah lidah mertua sebagai mitra kegiatan pebgandian kami adalah salah satu bank sampah kota Padang, dengan nasabah 100 orang. Nasabah bank sampah mempunyai permasalahan tentang bagaimana pengolahan minyak jelantah yang sudah menumpuk dirumah mereka masing-masing. Minyak jelantah jadi momok yang menakutkan bagi mereka karena apabila dipakai untuk menggoreng akan menyebabkan penyakit berbahaya (kanker, hipertensi, jantung, stroke), sedangkan minyak jelantah yang dibuang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan inovasi untuk memanfaatkan minyak jelantah menjadi suatu produk bernilai jual, serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mitra. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan yaitu workshop dan pendampingan secara langsung dengan peserta sebanyak 17 orang. Pembagian kuisioner awal dan akhir diberikan kepada mitra untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahamannya terhadap pembuatan sabun ini, dimana terjadi peningkatan keterampilan mitra dari 57% ke 93,53%.

Abstract

Tanah Datar Regency is an area that is developing relatively rapidly, with social, economic, distribution and government activities. Apart from that, Tanah Datar Regency is quite popular with tourists every year. With the increase in population and the development of economic factors, social distribution and governance can have an impact on traffic problems. One of the intersections that is causing problems and congestion is the Kiambang intersection. This research aims to determine the performance of unsignalized intersections at Simpang Kiambang based on the PKJI 2023 method, the size of the intersection capacity and the level of intersection performance, the highest basic capacity obtained on Thustday 7 December 2023 was 1083 pcu/hour, the value of the degree of saturation (DJ) The highest value was obtained on Monday 11 December 2023 at 0.66, the highest delay (T) was found on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 19.53 sec/pcu, the highest queue probability (PA) value was obtained on Sunday 10 December 2023 around between 0.28% - 29.10%. Based on the results and discussion of the performance of the unsignalized intersection at Simpang Kiambang, it has a degree of saturation (DJ) of 0.66, indicating the level of service is at level C where traffic characteristics are stable, but vehicle speed and movement are controlled.Keywords: Performance of non-signalized intersections, PKJI 2023 method, Kiambang intersection,   degree of saturation, basic capacity.

Abstract

Based on the results of analysis of accident data obtained from the Limapuluh Kota Regency Police in the last 5 years (2018-2022), Jalan Negara Km 7 which is located in Harau District is ranked second in the accident-prone areas in Limapuluh Kota Regency. Jalan Negara Km 7 has a road function, namely a primary artery, so adequate roads and road equipment are needed to improve safety by carrying out road safety inspections and identifying hazards with their risk levels. The road safety inspection method used in this study is to use a road safety inspection form. Hazard identification and risk assessment are carried out using the Australian / New Zealand Standard method, namely by using a risk level matrix. The results of the analysis and discussion in this research show that the traffic lane width is 3.5 M, the left shoulder width is 1 M, the right shoulder width is 1 M, there are no sidewalks and medians, the signs are in 81% good condition, the markings are in 100% good condition, the lighting is public roads with 56% good condition. In the results of hazard identification and risk assessment, it was found that the percentage of high risk level was 40%, the medium risk level was 20%, and the low risk level was 40%. To reduce the potential for accidents and fatality rates, recommendations for handling are made, namely the procurement of damaged and non-existent signs, providing zebra crossings, installing noise tape, and maintaining street lighting and road equipment in hazard locations.Keywords: Road Safety Inspection, Risk, Hazard

Abstract

Berbagai upayapun dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan pembangunan kesehatan serta memperbaiki penampilan berbagai unit pelayanan kesehatan, salah satunya rumah sakit. Pemerintah berencana melakukan pembangunan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan berupa pembangunan Instalasi Diagnostik Terpadu (IDT) RSUD Kota Padang Panjang. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari beban optimal yang terjadi, jumlah tulangan pada elemen struktur beserta dimensinya pada gedung Instalasi Diagnostik Terpadu (IDT) Kota Padang Panjang. Maka dilakukan analisis perhitungan struktur ulang dengan menggunakan Aplikasi SAP2000 sehingga dapat membandingkannya dengan perhitungan struktur yang telah dilakukan konsultan. Pada perencanaan Gedung Instalasi Diagnostik Terpadu (IDT) ini hanya membahas tentang bagian struktur atas gedung yang mana terdiri dari balok, kolom, dan pelat lantai dengan perhitungan analisis struktur menggunakan aplikasi program SAP2000 yang direncanakan terdiri dari 3 lantai. Dari penelitian yang akan dilakukan memakai Value Engineering  yang difokuskan pada pekerjaan kolom. Dari hasil analisis struktur menggunakan SAP2000 versi 14 didapatkan hasilnya yaitu dengan perencanaan balok dengan ukuran B1 = 50 cm x 80 cm, B2 = 35 cm x 70 cm, BA1 = 25 cm x 40 cm dan BA2 = 20 cm x 40 cm, pada perencanaan kolom  yang awalnya berukuran 65 cm  x 65 cm, setelah di VE menjadi ukuran K1 = 80 cm x 80 cm dengan  menghilangkan Kolom K1 B, K1 D, K2 = 65 cm x 65 cm, dan K3 = 60 cm x 60 cm dan perencanaan pelat lantai dengan tebal 12 cm dengan menggunakan mutu baja fy = 250 MPa dan mutu beton fc’ = 20,75 Mpa. Hasil dari analisis Value Engineering yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasilnya 0,876 15m3">  lebih efektif dari perencanaan yang telah dilakukan oleh konsultan.Kata kunci : Struktur, Gedung, Kesehatan, SAP2000

Abstract

A road intersection can be described as a common area that joins or crosses two or more roads. Lima Puluh Kota Regency has 8 intersections which have 3 intersection legs. There is 1 intersection at intersection 3 without a signal with type 322 intersection, namely the Bunga Setangkai intersection, this intersection has side barriers such as shops and one of the legs of the intersection, namely Tan Malaka 1, is a school. To assess the level of service at intersections, capacity, degree of saturation, delays and queuing opportunities need to be analyzed using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI, 2023). From the results of the analysis, the value of the degree of saturation is 0.88, the minimum chance of queuing is 32% and the maximum is 62% and the average delay is 15.05 sec/pcu so that the level of service at the Bunga Setangkai intersection is C. The researcher recommends making changes to the type of intersection control become a roundabout, and reduce side obstacles at intersections by implementing no parking at intersections, in order to improve performance at the Bunga Setangkai intersection. Analysis of the condition of the proposed intersection performance results in the following intersection performance. The first proposal with existing conditions is to change the type of control at the intersection to a roundabout. By carrying out proposal 1, it is possible to increase the capacity of the intersection by widening the road at the foot of the intersection. From the analysis of the calculation of the saturation level of the intersection which has exceeded the maximum value set, namely 0.88, it shows a decrease in performance at the intersection. According to the geometric planning module for at-grade intersections, the width of one The standard lane is 3.5 meters. Thus, if a vehicle with a maximum width of 2.5 meters passes, there is still 0.5 meter of empty space to the right and left of the vehicle. The second proposal is to add signs at intersections, by changing the side barriers to 0.95 by implementing no parking signs and priority signs at the Bunga Setangkai intersection so that road drivers do not park their vehicles on the shoulder of the road until they hit the road and avoid conflicts between vehicles.Keywords: Unsignalized intersection, delays

Abstract

The Tanjung Pati area is crossed by the West Sumatra-Riau State Highway segment 2 with the function of an arterial road which is a busy access for vehicles to and from Riau Province. The research aims to analyze traffic volume, side obstacles, traffic performance, and proposed problem solving. Results of analysis of existing conditions Traffic Volume 1590.6 pcu/hour, Road Capacity 2017 pcu/hour, Degree of Saturation 0.79, Speed 30 km/hour, Service Level "D". To improve traffic performance, the first proposal was given, namely a parking ban with the installation of no parking signs, obtained a Road Capacity of 2318.4 pcu/hour, Degree of Saturation 0.69, Speed 37.73 km/hour, Service Level "C". Then the second proposal is to widen the road, so the Road Capacity is 2700.43 pcu/hour, Degree of Saturation 0.59, Speed 43.39 km/hour, Service Level "C". The results of the pedestrian analysis are the provision of sidewalk and pelican crossing facilities.Keywords: Volume; Capacity; Side Obstacles; Speed; Pedestrian.
