Abstract

Kondisi ruas jalan SP III Benai – Kampung Tongah Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul  Kabupaten Pasaman saat ini masih jauh dari kata layak. Ruas jalan ini  mempunyai lebar 3 meter yang telah dilalui kendaraan dengan pembukaan jalur badan jalan sampai daerah milik jalan adalah rata-rata 6 meter. Ruas jalan SP III Benai – Kampung Tongah Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul  Kabupaten Pasaman merupakan jalan penghubung antar nagari di Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul. Jalan ini juga merupakan jalan alternatif dari Kabupaten Pasaman menuju Provinsi Riau. Ruas jalan eksisting berupa perkerasan lapen bahkan ada yang masih tanah, dengan panjang jalan yang rusak mencapai 6,5 km. Kerusakan jalan disebabkan salah satunya karena jalan tidak mempunyai drainase, sehingga di saat hujan sering terjadi luapan air ke badan jalan yang disertai longsor di ruas jalan ini. Kerusakan jalan yang terjadi menghambat aktivitas kendaraan yang melewati jalan. Pengambilan judul ini bertujuan untuk menghitung tebal perkerasan lentur (Flexible Pavement) dengan menggunakan metode MDPJ 2017 dan Metode Analisa Komponen 1987. Perhitungan untuk perkerasan jalan ini diawali dengan menghitung data tanah, menghitung lalu lintas kendaraan, dan menghitung tebal perkerasan untuk masing-masing metode yang digunakan. Untuk MDPJ 2017 didapat lapisan AC WC 40 mm, AC BC 60 mm, AC Base 0 mm, LPA Kelas A 400 mm. Metode analisa komponen 1987 didapat laston 50 mm, batu pecah kelas A 200 mm, dan sirtu kelas A 100 mm.Kata Kunci : Perkerasan Lentur, MDPJ 2017, MAK 1987, Perkerasan Jalan, Flexible Pavement

Abstract

Road conditions damaged on Jalan Belubus include potholes, patches, cracked crocodile skin, loose granules, cracked edges, thus disturbing the comfort and safety of road users. In this research, 2 methods are used to calculate the thickness of flexible pavement, namely the Bina Marga 2002 method and the Bina Marga 2017 method. In the 2002 Bina Marga calculation method, it was found that the thickness of the layer D1 = 5 cm, D2 = 15 cm, and D3 = 38 cm with a RAB of IDR 2,580,642,372.00. Meanwhile, in the 2017 Bina Marga calculation method, the AC WC layer = 4 cm, AC BC = 6 cm, AC Base = 10.5 cm, and LPA class A = 30 cm with a RAB worth IDR 2,382,747,906.00. Abstract

Dangung-dangung market is located on Jalan Tan Malaka, Limapuluh Kota Regency, which has a heavy traffic volume coupled with high side obstacles due to parking on the road and traders on the shoulder of the road. The aim of this research is to provide alternative suggestions for improving the performance of sections on the Tan Malaka road. From the results of the performance analysis for the performance of road sections in existing conditions, namely, the degree of saturation in existing conditions, precisely on market days, is 0.84 with a service level of "D", for the average market speed, namely 21.45 km/hour with a service level ”E”. There was an increase in the performance of the section on Jalan Tan Malaka after alternative proposals were made by moving on-street parking to off-street, providing pedestrian facilities, structuring traders and installing road equipment and infrastructure facilities along Jalan Tan Malaka. This can be seen from the road capacity which increased from 1342 pcu/hour to 2470 pcu/hour, experienced an increase in speed from 21.45 km/h to 39 km/h, decreased the degree of saturation from 0.84 to 0.46.Keywords: Side Obstacles, Degree of Saturation, Speed, Traffic Volume, Market.

Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure that has a very important role in the land transportation sector that supports the continuity of the distribution of goods and services to encourage economic growth in an area. Good road conditions will facilitate community activities, if there is road damage, community activities will be hindered so that accidents can occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of damage and the pavement index value for Nagari Koto Kaciak road, Pasaman Regency, so that it could compare the value of the condition of the Nagari Koto Kaciak road, Pasaman Regency based on two predetermined methods. The method used is the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method and the Bina Marga method. Assessment of road conditions in the PCI method is ranked from 0-100 while the Bina Marga method is based on the order of road priority with a value range of 0-7. Types of damage found on Nagari Koto Kaciak road, Pasaman Regency along a length of 2 km, included holes, crocodile skin cracks, patches, block cracks and side cracks. In the PCI method the average value obtained is 66.31 which is a good road condition. In the Bina Marga method, the priority order value is 6, meaning that the road is under periodic maintenance. After comparing the results of the research on the condition of the Nagari Koto Kaciak road, Pasaman Regency with the two methods, it turns out that the results and values are almost the same, namely the condition of the road is still in good condition but requires maintenance so as not to worsen road conditions.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a technology in of Architectural Engineering and Construction (AEC) which is capable of simulating all information in a development project into a 3D model. The aim is to facilitate 3D modeling of Library Buildings in Padang Pariaman Regency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) in architectural, structural and electrical modeling using the OpenBuildings Designer software. Data collection techniques are the methods used by researchers to obtain data. As for data collection in research using secondary data. Data collection is taken by getting AutoCad data. Then from the data that has been collected, a 3D modeling is made using the OpenBuildings Designer software. From this modeling, the results of Architectural modeling are obtained starting from walls, doors, windows, Structure modeling and Electrical modeling. OpenBuildings Designer has modeling tools specific to buildings, which make it easier for users to make more informed and accurate design decisions.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran konvensional sering kali kurang efektif dalam memberikan gambaran nyata tentang cara kerja sistem AC mobil, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami komponen dan fungsinya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memperkenalkan Trainer AC Mobil sebagai alat praktikum interaktif yang dirancang untuk mendukung pembelajaran sistem pendingin kendaraan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK Dhuafa padang, dengan melibatkan 15 siswa dari jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan yang didampingi oleh 4 orang guru, dengan metode pelaksanaan yang mencakup sosialisasi, penyerahan trainer, pengenalan komponen, pelatihan cara pengoperasian, dan perawatan dasar alat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek pemahaman komponen trainer, siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 3.73 dari skala 5, yang menandakan pemahaman yang cukup baik. Pada aspek kemampuan mengoperasikan trainer, siswa memperoleh rata-rata skor 3.53, yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa dapat mengoperasikan trainer dengan mandiri, meskipun beberapa masih memerlukan bimbingan. Sementara itu, pada aspek minat dan partisipasi aktif, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4.13. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa Trainer AC Mobil tidak hanya berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa, tetapi juga mampu memicu minat belajar yang lebih besar

Abstract

This research designs a machine learning model using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm to predict the tensile strength of aluminum. This research produces a machine learning model that has 8 (eight) input data variables consisting of the percentage of aluminum chemical composition such as Mg, Zn, Ti, Cu, Mn, Cr, Fe, Si, and 1 output (output), namely aluminum tensile strength. This study makes changes to several variations of parameters, such as variations in the number of split data, training cycles, learning rates, and hidden neurons. Abstract

A deep understanding of the mechanical properties of stainless steel is crucial for designing constructions that meet the requirements. However, to comprehensively understand the mechanical properties of stainless steel, sufficient testing is needed to gather data regarding its characteristics. In this research, an analysis was conducted on the Effect of Chemical Composition and Heat Treatment on the Mechanical Properties of Stainless Steel, using data from the Material Algorithm Project (MAP), which is a material database. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation to observe the relationships between these variables. The research results indicate that chemical elements such as Cu and Ni have a positive correlation with elongation, indicating that higher concentrations of these elements lead to higher elongation of stainless steel. Furthermore, it was also found that temperature has a strong negative correlation with yield strength (YS) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS), with correlation values of -0.71 and -0.86, respectively. Further analysis revealed that water quenching resulted in better ultimate tensile strength compared to air quenching. This research demonstrates that experimental material testing datasets not only validate experiments but can also actively be used in the analysis and design of more effective materials.

Abstract

Ruas Jalan Lintas Sumatera KM 77-81 Nagari Palaluar merupakan jalan kolektor primer penghubung Kabupaten Sijunjung dengan Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Kondisi geometrik jalan menunjukkan penyimpangan dari standar teknis keselamatan dengan prasarana perlengkapan jalan yang mengalami kekurangan seperti lampu penerangan mati, rambu-rambu rusak, tidak adanya pembatas jalan, dan marka jalan tidak terawat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui daerah rawan kecelakaan, mengetahui temuan audit keselamatan jalan, dan merumuskan upaya penanganan kecelakaan lalu lintas berdasarkan temuan audit keselamatan jalan. Metode Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis daerah rawan kecelakaan dan analisis keselamatan jalan. Analisis daerah rawan kecelakaan dilakukan melalui sistem skoring dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat keparahan cedera, kerusakan material, klasifikasi fungsi jalan, dan status jalan. Audit keselamatan mencakup 13 komponen evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada Periode 2020-2024 terjadi 45 korban kecelakaan dengan 82% luka ringan dan 18% meninggal dunia. Accident Rate tertinggi tahun 2023 sebesar 4,0 kecelakaan/km dan Severity Index 31%. Teridentifikasi 2 lokasi black spot pada KM 77-78 (11 kategori kekurangan) dan KM 80-81 (8 kategori kekurangan). Rekomendasi penanganan untuk KM 77-78 meliputi 10 jenis perbaikan: pengadaan rambu, pemeliharaan marka jalan, pemasangan paku jalan, penebangan pohon penghalang, pemasangan pita penggaduh, pengadaan rambu stop, preservasi jalan, dan perbaikan drainase. Untuk KM 80-81 diperlukan 7 jenis perbaikan: pengadaan rambu, pemeliharaan marka jalan, pemasangan paku jalan, penggantian reflektor delineator, penebangan pohon, dan preservasi jalan. Implementasi rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi potensi kecelakaan dan meningkatkan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Abstract

The service partner of KWT "Bengke Sakato" Sungai Sariak, Padang PariamanRegency, chaired by Ermatius. So far, his line of business is manufacturing VCO with the brand "Amboko" and processing 2000 coconuts every month. With the number of members as many as 25 people, this income is not sufficient. Waste from the VCO manufacturing process has not been utilized such as coconut water, coconut fiber, and coconut shells are still wasted. Whereas coconut water can be made into the starter and Nata de coco, the coir can be made cocopeat and the shell can be made of ceramics or bags that can increase income. This service program aims to empower and improve the community's economy. Namely the community members of KWT "Bengke Sakato". The method of service is that it begins with socialization, then carries out a workshop, after which monitoring and evaluation are carried out, as well as mentoring. This activity can produce starter or nata de coco seeds from pineapple and coconut water, where every 3 liters of coconut water and one pineapple produces 5 starter bottles with a price per bottle of IDR 50,000. In addition, it can also increase the knowledge of partners from 29.3% to 87.3%. It can be concluded that this service activity can increase partner knowledge about the manufacture of nata de coco seeds from coconut water which is a waste of the VCO process. And can improve the partner's economy. Making Nata de coco starter from coconut water can increase family income or empower the community.
