Abstract

This study aims to determine the low Net Profit Margin at Aico Energy Technology, PT in Balikpapan. The variable used is Net Profit Margin as the dependent variable, while the independent variables are Cash Turnover (X1), Accounts Receivable Turnover (X2), and Inventory Turnover (X3). Using a sample of financial statements for seven years, the data analysis method was carried out with multiple linear regression models, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the f-test showed that Cash Turnover, Accounts Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover simultaneously had a significant effect on the Net Profit Margin of Aico Energy Technology PT in Balikpapan. T test, Accounts Receivable Turnover has a significant effect, Receivable Turnover Variable partially has a significant effect on Net Profit Margin at Aico Energy Technology, PT in Balikpapan.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining how the effect of the variabels of human resources’ quality, organizational commitment, and SIPKD on the implementation of accrual-based Government Accounting Standards in the Government of Balikpapan City district both partially and simultaneously. The population of the unit of analysis in this study was 18 official governments in Balikpapan City. The sampling was through the purposive sampling technique with total respondents of 72 people. The data collection was conducted through a questionnaire and the measurement was conducted through a Likert scale. The results of this study are partial, the variabel of the quality of human resources, organizational commitment, and SIPKD significantly affected the implementation of accrual-based Government Accounting Standards in the Government of Balikpapan City. Simultaneously, the quality of human resources, organizational commitment, and SIPKD significantly affected the implementation of accrual-based Government Accounting Standards in the Government of Balikpapan City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the elements of the Surabaya, East Java student environment that contribute to the selection of electronic devices. Product quality, brand reputation, and cost are considered in this study. The study was quantitative in nature, and factor analysis was used to analyze the collected data. Data is gathered through the use of an online survey administered via Google Forms. The population of the city of Surabaya, the focus of this research, is too large to accurately count. A total of 100 persons participated in the study, and all of the hypotheses put to the test were proven correct by the data.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of price, product quality, promotion, brand image, and location on the purchasing decision of Traffic Bun Balikpapan. The research location is at the Traffic Bun Balikpapan store in Grand City Balikpapan, Jl. Sinarmas Land, Grand City, Ruko Golden Boulevard Blok AC, No.41, Batu Ampar District, north Balikpapan District. The data used are primary data obtained directly from the division of questionnaires. The sample in this study was 60 respondents. Based on the multiple linear regression analysis results, the value of the correlation coefficient (R) was obtained at 0.627 and the coefficient of determination (R²) at 39.3%. The simultaneous test results (Test F) showed that the calculated F was 6.999 > F table of 2.39, meaning that price, product quality, promotion, brand image, and location simultaneously had a significant effect on the decision to buy Traffic Bun Balikpapan. The results of the partial test (Test t) showed that the price variable (X1) t count of -2.734 > t of the table of 2.00488, which means that the price variable partially had a negative and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The product quality variable (X2) t count of 2.731 > t table of 2.00488, which means that the quality variable of the product partially had a positive effect and was significant to the purchase decision. The promotion variable (X3) t count is -2,061 > t table is 2.00488, which means the promotion variable partially negatively and significantly affects the purchase decision. The brand image variable (X4) t count is 2,809 > t table is 2.00488, which means the brand image variable partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The location variable (X5) t counts by 2,618 > t table of 2.00488, which means that the location variable partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Compensation, Motivation, and Work Discipline on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT. Sukses Bersama Akmal. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling with the number of employee population, so only a portion of the sample is taken to represent the population of PT. Sukses Bersama Akmal, which is 65 permanent employees. The data collection method is carried out by distributing questionnaires. This study uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The results of this study indicate that the variables of compensation, motivation and work discipline have an influence on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sukses Bersama Akmal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Compensation, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Job Satisfaction of PT> Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan. Data collection was carried out by distributing a questionnaire with a total of 37 respondents from PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan, this research method uses a quantitative method. The sampling technique in this study uses the total sampling technique or census. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the Smart PLS program version 3.0. The results of the study show that the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan while the variables of compensation and work discipline have no effect on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan.

Abstract

The presence of human resources in a company is crucial, which necessitates focusing on aspects related to employees. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Leadership, Discipline, and Motivation on Employee Job Satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City. This study employs a quantitative approach. The sampling technique was conducted using a Likert scale and involved 79 employees of PDAM Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City, as respondents. Data analysis in this study was performed using the SmartPLS method. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire designed based on the Likert scale to assess employees' perceptions of leadership, work discipline, and motivation variables. The results of the study show that the leadership variable has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City. The work discipline variable has no significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Balikpapan City, and the motivation variable has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, and Motivation to Employee Job Satisfaction of PT Asia Adhitama Shipyard Balikpapan. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this research is saturated sampling with a population of 40 employees so the sample taken is all employees of PT Asia Adhitama Shipyard in Balikpapan City which amounted to 40 employees. Data collection method is done by distributing questionnaires. This research uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The result of this research shows that work environment, work discipline and motivation variables have influence on job satisfaction of PT Asia Adhitama Shipyard Balikpapan employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of motivation variables, work discipline and work environment on job satisfaction of Bank BTN Kantor Cabang Balikpapan employees. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population of this study was 133 employees of Bank BTN Kantor Cabang Balikpapan. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling, totaling 59 permanent employees. Data collection was carried out by literature study, interviews and distributing questionnaires, processing data using SmartPLS to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. An R-Square value of 0.705 indicates a good work model, with job satisfaction influenced by 70.5% by motivation variables, work discipline and work environment. The research results show that work motivation and discipline have a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction of Bank BTN Kantor Cabang Balikpapan employees, while the work environment has no effect and is not significant on the job satisfaction of Bank BTN Kantor Cabang Balikpapan employees. It is recommended to increase the feeling of comfort in the work environment, maintain employee discipline and increase motivation to build employee enthusiasm in carrying out their work, as well as involving additional variables such as compensation, leadership and loyalty in further research.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the impact of Compensation,Motivation, and Work Discipline on Job Satisfaction at PT Abadi Raya Commerce Balikpapan. The sample consisted of 52 employees, selected through purposive sampling and data collected via questionnaires. Data processing was conducted using Smart-PLS, analyzing outer and inner models, basic equations, and bootstrapping. The results indicate that Compensation,Motivation, and Work Discipline significantly influence Job Satisfaction at PT Abadi Raya Commerce Balikpapan.
