Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana Tri Hita Karana diterapkan dan bagaimana hal itu berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Studi ini bersifat kualitatif. Jenis purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik jenis statistik deskriptif, menggunakan pendekatan yang disebutkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang luas dan harmonis, mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar, dan memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Parahyangan, pawongan, dan palemahan adalah tiga komponen utama yang memengaruhi kepala sekolah, guru, pegawai, dan siswa.

Abstract

Bahasa sebagai identitas yang mengandung nilai, norma, dan simbol ekspresif untuk membangun solidaritas dan kohesivitas sosial. Masyarakat beragam memiliki identitas berbingkai sentimen primordial. Seperti halnya, bahasa Bali bermanfaat untuk mengekspresikan ide masyarakat Bali diberbagai aktivitas tradisional dalam agama Hindu, adat, seni dan budaya. Disamping itu tidak lepas dari sastra Bali, yang berfungsi membentuk karakter generasi muda dalam menghadapi kehidupan, karena mengandung nilai filosofis dan ajaran agama. Salah satu upaya menjaga kelestarian seni sastra Bali melalui kegiatan madharmagita. Masih banyak generasi muda yang kurang paham terhadap dharmagita. Menyikapi fenomena tersebut, maka dipandang perlu melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis pengajaran dan pembelajaran dharmagita di Br Dinas Pura Desa Sebudi Kecamatan Selat Kabupaten Karangasem. Tujuan kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman, pengetahuan tentang eksistensi bahasa Bali melalui Dharmagita. Peserta didik diberikan pelatihan olah vocal menyanyikan sekar rare dan sekar alit. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan bertim agar optimal. Adapun hasil PKM ini berupa peningkatan kompetensi akademik dan non akademik generasi muda di Br. Dinas Pura Desa Sebudi Kecamatan Selat Kabupaten Karangasem.

Abstract

Pada tingkat sekolah, bahasa Bali hingga saat ini masih menjadi salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diberikan kepada peserta didik. Meskipun sifatnya wajib, namun alokasi waktu yang diberikan masih minim sehingga peserta didik masih banyak yang memiliki pemahaman yang rendah terhadap pelajaran Bahasa Bali. Kondisi seperti itu hampir terjadi di sebagian besar wilayah di Bali, termasuk di Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh Desa Telagatawang Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem. Pendampingan belajar ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tambahan pengetahuan Bahasa Bali dan alternatif dalam proses belajar bahasa Bali yang menyenangkan sehingga stigma negatif tentang belajar bahasa Bali yang membosankan bisa berkurang khususnya pada anak-anak tingkat SD di Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh Desa Telagatawang Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini bervariasi, mulai ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Proses pendampingan belajar dilaksanakan di Wantilan Pura Puseh Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh selama delapan kali pertemuan pada hari Jumat dan Sabtu selama bulan Juni 2023. Materi yang diberikan selama kegiatan pendampingan antara lain keterampilan menyimak bahasa Bali, keterampilan berbicara bahasa Bali, keterampilan membaca bahasa Bali dan keterampilan menulis bahasa Bali. Hasil pengabdian ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan bahasa Bali yang signifikan pada empat bidang keterampilan, yakni keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca dan menulis.

Abstract

The concept of catur guru learning through education has a huge impact on student character and learning outcomes, because it can increase obedience in its full sense, and will create a life of mutual respect, balance and obedience. The character of each individual in the catur guru teaching plays an important role in the educational step. This study aims to determine character education and morality in catur guru teachings. The method used is qualitative research. The type of data used is qualitative data with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that character education is very important to implement, everyone in the education system must be involved in its development. Policy is the main role model in this area. This is also emphasized in the teachings of Hinduism. Teachers play an important role in classroom learning by interacting with students.

Abstract

The story of Anusasana Parwa is part 13 of Asta Dasa Parwa or 18 Parwa in the Mahabharata story, which tells of Yudisthira's coronation as king of Hastina replacing his uncle Drestarastra. In this Parwa it is described how the great king of the Kuru nation could reconcile himself. The awareness that grew in Yudisthira was obtained after receiving instruction from his grandfather Bhisma. This Parwa explains in detail about the rules regarding the Dharma. The general aim of this research is as a maturing process for humans through education, by adding and filling themselves through various experiences, both obtained during the learning process in class and through reading Hindu literary works. Various literary works that can be used as material for self-maturing in the world of education, especially in the Mahabharata literature in the Anusasana Parwa section. The general objective of this research is to preserve literary works as a form of language art that should be maintained, developed, and interpreted. The works can expand the treasures of Balinese culture. In addition, this research informs the existence of Hindu literary works which are very full of teachings of sraddha Bhakti, morals and ethics. This study uses a method that is relevant to the formulation of the problem and the theory used. Qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show (1) The structure of the text of the Anusasana Parwa story which consists of Theme, Incident/conflict, Plot, Setting, Message which form a structure of this story. (2) In the text of the story Anusasana Parwa there are values ​​of Hindu Religious Education and Hindu Leadership values. The practice of Hindu religious education can be applied at any time or era, and under any circumstances and through any media, as is the case with the use of the Anusasana Parwa story text as a medium to understand the values ​​of Hindu religious education contained in the literary work so that it can be realized in family life, as well as the general public.

Abstract

The Hindu community is one of the rural communities with a high commitment to maintaining its diversity intact as it is inherited. It can be seen from the implementation of worship that used several facilities such as flowers, incense sticks, water, bija (grain of rice), and others. However, the meaning of its facilities sometimes is not clearly understood. Therefore, examining the Internalization of Hindu Teaching Values in Informal Education is necessary to increase the religious value of the younger generation of Hindus. This study entitled Internalization Model of Hindu Teaching Values in Informal Education raises three issues, including how the internalization process of Hindu teaching values in informal education is, how the form of internalization of Hindu teaching values is, and the implication of the internalization of Hindu teaching values in formal education on children’s behavior. The general objective of this research is to enhance thinking in developing science. In addition, it aimed to examine the related processes with the internalization model of Hindu teaching values in informal education. This research is qualitative research using descriptive data analysis. Informants were determined purposively. The data were collected using the observation, interviews, and documentation methods. It was analyzed in several stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study obtained 1) The internalization process of Hindu teaching values was divided into two, namely: (a) Children imitated their parents’ behavior in performing religious rituals; (b) The children observed religious procedures following the religious ceremonies. 2) Forms of internalized Hindu values ​​were: (a) Parents taught the implementation of the ceremony in accordance with what has been passed down; (b) Parents familiarized their children to differentiate how to speak and dress nicely; (c) Parents accustomed their children to pray every day. 3) Implications of the internalization of Hindu teaching values were: (a) making children afraid to violate cultural heritage; (b) making children have the ethics of speaking and dressing nicely; (c) making the child perform a steady religious ceremony.

Abstract

The number of children who experience difficulties in learning causes children not to develop according to their capacity. This is usually due to interference, both from internal student factors which are limited to intelligence factors and external student factors. There are two types of learning difficulties, namely pre-academic learning difficulties including: motor and perceptual disorders, cognitive learning difficulties, language development disorders, and difficulties in completing social behavior. While academic learning difficulties include difficulties in reading, writing, and arithmetic. In overcoming these problems, it is important to conduct tutoring in reducing student learning difficulties in the elementary school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the implementation of tutoring services in reducing the learning difficulties of elementary school students in Amparita village. The research location is Independent Tutoring in Amparita Village. This selection is related to the characteristics of the research subjects, namely tutoring mentors who have a Bachelor of Education background who have implemented tutoring services. The research method used a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The result of the research is that the implementation of tutoring services can help students reduce learning difficulties. The tutoring services provided are integrated with the subject matter (when learning takes place), so that no specific service material is prepared but the mentor provides students with material according to the lessons at school. In its implementation, sometimes the mentor provides it with a cooperative learning model so that students can learn from each other and share with other students to achieve the goals of a particular learning. The success of the implementation of tutoring services in reducing learning difficulties is that students show an increased interest in learning, do and collect assignments on time and can concentrate by paying attention to the subject matter provided by the teacher.

Abstract

Teachers are required to be creative in packaging learning activities in various ways. One of the creativity carried out by prospective teaching students is modifying familiar songs into songs containing learning material about Hindu religion. Therefore, it is important to conduct this research to describe language creativity in presenting Hindu religious material and the obstacles faced in modifying songs. Creativity in presenting material is very important in order to achieve effective communication in learning activities. This research is classified as qualitative research with an empirical approach. This research was carried out by collecting a number of songs containing Hindu Religious Education material developed by students of the Hindu Religious Education Study Program, College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP) Agama Hindu Amlapura in classroom management practices and interviewing students regarding the difficulties or obstacles experienced when being creative in modifying songs so that they contain Hindu religious material.  The results of this research show that there are several songs that students tend to create and modify in classroom management, namely children's songs whose rhythms are very familiar, such as the songs Balonku, Pelangi-Pelangi, Lihat kebunku, Naik Becak, Satu-Satu Aku sayang Ibu. From the rhythm of these songs, they were modified into songs containing Hindu religious material, namely Panca Yadnya, Panca Sraddha, Tri Pramana, Three Basic Frameworks of Hindu Religion, Tri Kaya Parisudha, Holy Books and Holy Places Hindu religion. When carrying out this creativity, students also experience various difficulties or obstacles, such as using diction, adjusting rhythm, packaging material, and limitations for complex material.

Abstract

Moral degradation has become a widespread discourse among society, especially the Hindu community in Nabire district, Papua. The development of information technology has coused the formation of nomophobia syndrome in Hindu children in Papua. This occurs because children are starting to get to know smartphones after a long time behind technology. Children are starting to become addicted and can not be separated from smartphones, this is indicated by the habit of children always carrying smartphones both in class and outside of class. This condition is certainly very worrying for the development of the Hindu generation in Nabire district, Papua. Therefore, the teaching staff at Adi Widya Prasaman Sutosoma began to innovate to overcome this phenomenon, namely by providing education on Hindu religious ethics to students. The problem discussed is the learning strategy for Hindu religious ethics education in Adi Widya Pasraman Sutosoma, Nabire dictrict. This research aims to determine the Hindu religious ethnics learning activities at Adi Widya Pasraman Sutosoma. Data was obtained from observations, interviews and document studies using purposive sampling as a technique for determining informants. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. This research uses the Behavioristic Theory and Sociological Theory methods. Based on the results of the anlysis carried out, it shows that the learning strategy for Hindu religious ethics education applies a group strategy, considering that this learning focuses more on guidance on ethics and morality, then the approach used is a religious approach because the scope of the material refers to Hindu religious teachings. The method used to deliver material, teaching staff uses lecture and discussion methods.

Abstract

The development of the times is so fast that it affects various things including student character. The importance of integrated character education in various lessons is no exception in the Lontar Transcript course in the Balinese Language Education Study Program. The integration of character education provides strengthening for students who will later become teachers so that they can provide strong character education values for their students. This study aims to analyze the character education values integrated in the lontar transcription of STKIP Hinduism Amlapura students. This research is a qualitative research, with the locus of research at STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura. The type of data uses qualitative and quantitative data, while the data source uses primary and secondary data sources. Data collection methods use participatory observation methods and questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students of STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura internalize 17 character education values in the process of creativity of lontar transcripts, namely hard work, independence, religion, curiosity, responsibility, discipline, creativity, love for the country, honesty, love to read, respect for achievement, tolerance, democratic, peace-loving, communicative, environmental care, and social care. The process of internalizing character education values in STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura students' lontar transcripts, including receiving, responding, selecting, internalizing, and applying values.
