Abstract

Pelatihan Teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) bagi mahasiswa magang kependidikan MBKM FKIP Universitas Jambi dilaksanakan pada saat pembekalan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi: pemaparan kelemahan dan kelebihan AI, Penggunaan AI dan cara kerja efektif AI. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 550 mahasiswa magang kependidikan MBKM. Tujuan kegiatan adalah membekali mahasiswa dalam menerapkan teknologi pendidikan bagi peningkatan SDM guru dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan mahasiswa memperoleh keterampilan penggunaan AI dalam membuat Modul Ajar.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji efektivitas program pelatihan teknologi pendidikan yang diinisiasi oleh FKIP Universitas Jambi dalam meningkatkan literasi teknologi di kalangan pendidik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengevaluasi feedback dari peserta untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat dan area yang memerlukan peningkatan dalam program. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan wawasan teknologi, khususnya penggunaan AI dan ChatGPT, serta persiapan magang dan pengembangan kreativitas. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kebutuhan untuk peningkatan materi dan metode pengajaran, serta penekanan pada etika penggunaan teknologi. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya integrasi AI dalam pendidikan dan tantangan etis yang menyertainya, mengusulkan rekomendasi untuk implementasi AI yang efektif dan etis dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership style on student motivation and learning innovation in schools. Transformational leadership is an approach that focuses on developing individuals, motivating them to reach their full potential. The study involved participants of students from different levels of education in different schools. The research method used was a questionnaire survey given to students to measure their perception of the transformational leadership style demonstrated by the principal. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical and regression techniques. The results showed that transformational leadership style has a significant positive influence on student motivation. Principals who are able to motivate students in an inspiring way and attend to their needs and aspirations tend to increase student motivation. In addition, transformational leadership styles also play an important role in enhancing student learning innovation. Principals who encourage students to think creatively, take risks, and find new solutions can encourage innovation in the learning process. The findings have important implications for education practitioners and policymakers. Principals and teachers can use transformational leadership styles as strategies to increase student motivation and learning innovation. In addition, formal education can also pay attention to the importance of developing a transformational leadership style.

Abstract

Schools have a responsibility to provide education for the nation's generation well. Schools need good fixed assets to be able to provide optimal academic services for students. The Jambi University community service activities team carries out activities to strengthen the administration of the school's fixed assets and academics. Activities are carried out through the Kukerta MBKM DLT scheme with a location at State Elementary School 03, Olak Kemang Village, Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. This activity was carried out by lecturers and students from three study programs, namely Accounting, Educational Administration and Information Systems. Community service activities (PPM) are carried out in the form of assistance in managing fixed assets and education administration. Students together with the school carry out the process of inventorying and structuring the administration of fixed assets and the school reading room. The school was very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. This is evident from the discussion process, contributions and participation of all parties in the school in supporting this activity. The school really hopes that other mentoring and training activities related to increasing skills for teachers and staff in managing the administration of educational institutions can be carried out in the future. The school also hopes that the collaboration between Jambi University and the School will continue with other activities that can be developed further. Abstrak. Sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan bagi generasi bangsa dengan baik. Sekolah membutuhkan aset tetap yang baik untuk dapat memberikan layanan akademik secara optimal bagi siswa. Tim kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakt Universitas Jambi melakukan kegiatan penguatan administrasi aset tetap dan akademik sekolah. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui skema Kukerta MBKM DLT dengan Lokasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Kelurahan Olak Kemang Kecamatan Danau Teluk Kota Jambi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dari tiga program studi yaitu Akuntansi, Administrasi Pendidikan dan Sistem Informasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PPM) dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan pengeloaan aset tetap dan administrasi pendidikan. Mahasiswa bersama pihak sekolah melakukan proses inventarisasi dan penataan administrasi aset tetap dan ruang baca sekolah. Pihak sekolah sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hal ini terbukti dari proses diskusi, kontribusi dan partisipasi seluruh pihak di sekolah dalam mendukung kegiatan ini. Sekolah sangat berharap kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan lain terkait peningkatan keterampilan bagi guru dan pegawai dalam mengelola administrasi institusi pendidikan dapat dilakukan pada masa yang akan datang. Sekolah juga berharap Kerjasama antara Universitas Jambi dan Sekolah terus berlanjut dengan kegiatan lain yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Tuntutan atas pemanfaatan fasilitas teknologi berbasis distance learning selama periode new normal yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi covid 19 terus meningkat. Proses belajar mengajar dapat lebih dioptimalkan apabila guru dapat memahami berbagai fasilitas teknologi digital yang membantu/ mengakomodir kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis distance learning. Namun, fenomena di lapangan menunjukkan sebagian besar guru khususnya pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama, memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang masih terbatas terhadap literasi digital. Selain itu, guru, orang tua dan siswa juga menghadapi kendala terkait biaya, perangkat dan akuntabilitas serta transparansi penilaian proses pembelajaran dengan literasi digital. Program pengabdian masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah berupa kegiatan Pelatihan literasi teknologi digital bagi guru SMP untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar dan mengajar yang efisien dan efektif. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini pemerintah dan akademisi perlu terus memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan terkait pemanfaatan teknologi baik kepada guru, orang tua maupun siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan literasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to find out the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique, knowledge of extension, extension score, and creative attitude. The study was conducted in Jambi Extension Center (2019) with 90 respondents randomly selected. The study shows that there are positive correlations between: 1) knowledge of extension and the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique; 2) extension score and the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique; 3) creative attitude and the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique. In addition, there is a positive correlation between knowledge of extension, extension score and creative attitude & the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique Thus, the ability of the field extension officers to implement communicative extension teaching technique can be enhanced by increasing knowledge of extension, extension score, and creative attitude.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the capacity of teachers in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. Through a three-day workshop, teachers were trained to understand the concept of AI and how to use it in developing adaptive learning resources. The methods used included providing theoretical materials, practical training, and group discussions to understand the challenges and solutions to implementing AI in schools. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the benefits of AI in education, as well as increased skills in integrating the technology into the learning process. However, there are still challenges such as limited infrastructure and technical skills that require further assistance. This activity succeeded in equipping teachers with basic knowledge and practical skills related to the application of AI in learning. It is recommended that there be a continuous mentoring program and improvement of technology facilities in schools to support the optimal implementation of AI. Abstrak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. Melalui workshop yang diadakan selama tiga hari, para guru dilatih untuk memahami konsep AI dan cara penggunaannya dalam mengembangkan sumber belajar adaptif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemberian materi teoritis, pelatihan praktis, serta diskusi kelompok untuk memahami tantangan dan solusi implementasi AI di sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang manfaat AI dalam pendidikan, serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi tersebut ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan keterampilan teknis yang memerlukan pendampingan lebih lanjut. Kegiatan ini berhasil membekali guru dengan pengetahuan dasar dan keterampilan praktis terkait penerapan AI dalam pembelajaran. Disarankan adanya program pendampingan berkelanjutan serta peningkatan fasilitas teknologi di sekolah untuk mendukung penerapan AI secara optimal.

Abstract

Kegiatan "Workshop Pelatihan Administrasi Sekolah: Menerapkan Teknologi AI dalam Perencanaan Pendidikan" di SMK Negeri 8 Merangin bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi melalui penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI). Masalah yang dihadapi mencakup manajemen data yang tidak terintegrasi, rendahnya keterampilan administrasi digital, dan kesulitan dalam penjadwalan serta komunikasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan intensif dan sesi praktik penggunaan alat AI, yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan staf dalam pengelolaan data, perencanaan pendidikan, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan administrasi staf, pengurangan kesalahan data, dan efisiensi operasional yang lebih baik. Peserta berhasil mengimplementasikan alat-alat AI dalam pengelolaan data dan perencanaan pendidikan, yang sebelumnya menjadi tantangan besar. Selain itu, workshop ini menciptakan kesadaran akan pentingnya teknologi dalam pendidikan, dengan staf dan guru lebih terbuka terhadap inovasi. Sekolah menunjukkan komitmen untuk melanjutkan penggunaan teknologi AI dalam administrasi, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of emotional intelligence, learning facilities, and learning interest on the academic achievement of students in Sumatra Island. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze data from 200 respondents. The results of the analysis indicate that emotional intelligence and learning interest have a significant positive effect on academic achievement, while learning facilities have a significant negative effect. The effect size evaluation shows that emotional intelligence has the greatest influence, followed by learning interest and learning facilities. This model has strong predictive accuracy, indicated by high R2 values for learning interest and academic achievement. Additionally, the model also has good predictive relevance, indicating the model's ability to accurately predict the values of endogenous variables. These findings provide insights for universities and lecturers to improve students' academic achievement by focusing on the development of emotional intelligence, learning interest, and enhancement of learning facilities.

Abstract

The storage of educational facilities and infrastructure involves the action of storing school equipment in designated storage places. This research aims to understand the methods of storing these facilities. The research methodology employs a literature review by collecting and combining sources related to the storage of educational facilities and infrastructure. The research findings reveal various storage methods, including receiving, screening, and inspecting incoming goods. Subsequent steps involve examining items for storage, organizing them into specific groups, recording in acceptance books, issuing receipts, and warehouse notes. Plans are made for the storage location, ensuring quick retrieval when needed. Existing items must be received, registered, stored, sorted, maintained, and preserved in an orderly, fast, and secure manner. The research emphasizes managing the storage and use of all items in rooms and warehouses, periodic inventory control, reporting on the preservation conditions of items according to applicable regulations, and issuing items in accordance with the instructions for item issuance.
