Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Islamic education management information system from an ethical and efficiency perspective based on an Islamic perspective. The advancement of digital technology requires educational institutions to carry out data-based managerial transformations that are fast, accurate, and efficient and able to answer all the demands and needs of society. In this context, Artificial Intelligence plays a role as a solution to support this process. The research method used in this study is Library Research with data collection techniques from literature related to the topic to be discussed in this study, while the data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman style. The results of the study indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence provides significant benefits to the Management Information System in an educational institution, thus impacting efficiency, professionalism and work results, transparency, and process accountability. However, on the other hand, the use of Artificial Intelligence also poses challenges in the form of algorithmic bias and dehumanization of decisions. Therefore, its implementation must be based on Islamic values which contain the principles of Maqashid As Syari'ah, namely Hifdz Ad Din, Hifdz Al Aql and Maslahah Al Ammah which are then broken down into several sub-principles in the four stages of SIM implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the shalat dhuha activity in shaping the religious character of first-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed with first-grade teachers as the research subjects, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that shalat dhuha is performed collectively after the halaqah tahfidz through the talaqqi method in which the teacher guides the recitation and movements for students to imitate, fostering discipline, gratitude, and positive moral habits. Challenges such as limited focus and time constraints were addressed through strengthened supervision and schedule adjustments. The novelty of this study lies in its detailed description of integrating shalat dhuha as a routine instructional practice to cultivate early religious character formation, particularly through the effective application of the talaqqi method for lower-grade MI students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher management in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Bondowoso. The research focuses on how the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of teacher management are carried out and how these processes contribute to school quality improvement. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed naturalistically to obtain an in-depth understanding of the existing phenomena. The findings indicate that teacher management at the madrasah has been implemented fairly well, covering recruitment, placement, professional development, and supervision, although weaknesses remain, particularly in the selectivity of recruitment and alignment between teachers’ competencies and teaching assignments. Furthermore, quality management implementation at the madrasah is realized through collaborative vision–mission planning, strengthened teamwork, and improvement of student outcomes through instructional programs, relevant curriculum use, and optimal utilization of learning facilities. The novelty of this study lies in its finding that the success of quality improvement is strongly influenced by the strength of teamwork and the consistent application of a quality culture through PDCA-based cycles.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe and analyze the principal’s academic supervision strategies in strengthening teacher performance at SDN Kolursari I Bangil. The research addresses the phenomenon of how instructional leadership through academic supervision contributes to improving teacher professionalism in primary education. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research explores the real implementation of supervision within the school context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, involving the school principal and six teachers selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis, conducted using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, revealed four main themes: (1) participatory supervision planning, which engages teachers in determining supervision priorities; (2) humanistic and reflective supervision practices, emphasizing collaborative guidance through classroom observation and peer coaching; (3) appreciative feedback and continuous follow-up, which foster a culture of professional learning; and (4) strengthening teacher performance and professionalism, as reflected in improved pedagogical competence, creativity in teaching, and professional discipline. The findings enrich the theory of instructional leadership by highlighting empathy and collaborative reflection as crucial dimensions of effective academic supervision.

Abstract

Thorough planning in every activity is an essential first step to optimally achieve educational goals, especially in the context of improving the quality of learning. This study aims to describe the Islamic education planning strategy in an effort to improve the quality of learning at MTs Darul Falah Rembul in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results of the study indicate that the school has implemented systematic learning planning, including needs analysis, program development, and the selection of relevant methods and media. The integration of technology such as projectors, Google Classroom, WhatsApp Group, and other digital media has been proven to increase student interest, motivation, and understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials. Teachers are encouraged to develop pedagogical competence and digital literacy through the implementation of innovative strategies such as the use of audiovisual media, group discussions, flipped classrooms, and blended learning. The implementation of these strategies results in a more interactive, contextual, and adaptive learning process to students' needs in the digital era.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the management strategies for extracurricular activities in realizing students' talents and interests at Ke-Jian Elementary School, Taoyuan, Taiwan, through the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to describe in depth the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating extracurricular activities implemented in schools. The results show that activity planning is carried out systematically through the identification of student interests and talents, the preparation of annual plans by a special division, and collaboration with external parties such as Yuan Ze University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Chiayi University. In terms of organization, the school implements a clear division of tasks between the principal, permanent teachers, and guest teachers based on their respective expertise. Activities are carried out regularly every week, covering the fields of arts, sports, and science, and even continue during the holidays with the full support of partner institutions at no cost to students. Evaluations are conducted through observation of attendance, discipline, work results, and student participation in various competitions and exhibitions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal’s management in developing school facilities and infrastructure at SDN Kiduldalem I Bangil, focusing on how the principal’s leadership role contributes to improving the quality of educational facilities and learning processes. The phenomenon studied reflects the challenges faced by public elementary schools in managing facilities effectively amid limited resources. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, which allows for an in-depth understanding of managerial and social contexts within the school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, direct observation of the school environment, and document analysis of administrative records such as the School Work and Budget Plan (RKAS) and infrastructure reports. The results revealed five main themes: (1) participatory planning based on school needs, (2) collaborative and transparent implementation, (3) maintenance based on collective responsibility, (4) transformational and innovative leadership, and (5) the impact of development on learning quality. The principal acted as a change agent by emphasizing collaboration, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and community-based innovation. These findings indicate that effective school management is not merely administrative but also involves a transformational leadership dimension that fosters an adaptive and sustainable organizational culture.

Abstract

Learning science using the lecture method without providing feedback and variations in learning can lead to low student learning outcomes and lack of student interest and motivation in learning. Various learning models and methods can be used in the learning process to improve learning outcomes and student interest. One of the learning models recommended in the Merdeka Curriculum is Project Based Learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Project Based Learning learning model to the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh. This type of research is a quasi-experiment, with a population of all seventh grade students. The withdrawal of samples in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was 25 objective questions that were valid and reliable. Data analysis technique used is t-test with real level (ɑ) = 0.05. The results of data analysis t table value = 2.63 and the value of t count = 1.68. It means that t count> t table, so the hypothesis is accepted at the 95% confidence level. It can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in class VII.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the dynamics of teacher behavior and its influence on the organizational climate at SMP Negeri 3 Ajibarang. Variations in teacher behavior, including work motivation, discipline, communication skills, and adaptability to change, create significant differences in the implementation of tasks and daily interactions. This diversity not only impacts the effectiveness of cooperation between teachers but also shapes collective perceptions of the school's organizational climate. Using a qualitative approach through a case study design, this study was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. These methods provide a comprehensive overview of work patterns, social interactions, and contextual factors that influence teacher behavior. The results indicate that positive behaviors, such as open communication, consistent discipline, and a willingness to cooperate, contribute to the creation of a harmonious, conducive, and productive organizational climate. Conversely, less adaptive behavior often creates obstacles in the coordination and implementation of school policies. Factors that encourage positive behavior include the principal's participatory leadership, a collaborative work culture, a clear organizational vision, and recognition of teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the application of Augmented Reality (AR) in vocational education represents the principles of progressivism learning and to identify its pedagogical impacts, opportunities, and challenges. Using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach, sixteen relevant research articles published in Sinta 1 and Sinta 2 accredited journals between 2021 and 2025 were systematically reviewed. The findings indicate that AR implementation in vocational education strongly embodies progressivist principles by fostering experiential, student-centered, and technology-integrated learning. AR enhances conceptual understanding, practical skills, and learning motivation while promoting creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities aligned with Dewey’s learning by doing philosophy. Moreover, AR supports contextual and reflective learning environments that prepare students for industrial and technological realities. However, challenges remain in teacher digital competence, development costs, and limited infrastructure. Overall, AR serves as a progressive pedagogical innovation that bridges theory and practice in vocational education, and its transformative potential can be fully realized through systemic readiness, institutional support, and equitable access to digital technology.
