Abstract

Health services have an important role in the implementation of health services in hospitals as a whole, especially nursing. Health services are considered good if the health services can create a feeling of satisfaction for each patient. Achieving a level of satisfaction with the services provided to patients, both the quality of health services and the health service system, means that patients will prefer quality health services that are quality, guaranteed, and affordable to patients, or in other words, consumers are one of the most important factors in achieving the level of satisfaction in a health service. This research aims to analyze the quality of health services on the satisfaction of outpatients at Kolonodale Hospital, North Morowali Regency. This research is a quantitative study that uses an analytical survey research method with a "cross-sectional study" design approach, sampling by accidental sampling with a sample size of 50 respondents taken from outpatients at the polyclinic. The instrument used was a test developed using a Likert scale, the data obtained was analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistical analysis, namely the chy square test with a significance level of 5 percent. The results of the research showed tangible values (p=0.000), reliability (p=0.000), responsiveness (p=0.000), assurance (p=0.000), and empathy (p=0.000) because the value ρ<α (0.05) so it can be said that there is a relationship between tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy on outpatient satisfaction in Kolonodale Regional Hospital, North Morowali Regency. Tangible and empathy variables have the strongest level of relationship with patient satisfaction. So it would be better for the hospital to provide a suggestion box, so that input from patients can be conveyed and can help improve the quality of the hospital in the future.

Abstract

This research constitutes a preliminary study aimed at determining the needs of teachers and students in the learning process, particularly in the context of physics subjects related to renewable energy. The chosen research method is a survey, conducted among 27 physics teachers and 59 high school students in MIPA field in Lampung Province using Google Forms. The collected data is then curated and analyzed to identify and address these educational needs. The results of the data analysis reveal a demand for learning programs that can enhance students' numeracy and literacy skills during the learning process. According to the survey, only 43% of teachers and 24% of high school students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences are aware of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This aligns with the finding that only 40% of teachers have integrated PjBL-STEM into their learning programs. The worksheets lack activities that can stimulate students' numeracy and literacy skills, thereby impeding their active engagement in renewable energy learning. These findings are further corroborated by student questionnaires, which indicate that 55% of students feel they face limitations in understanding materials related to renewable energy. Additionally, 85% of physics teachers express concerns about students' difficulties in grasping the concept of renewable energy. Consequently, the development of an integrated renewable energy learning program incorporating PjBL-STEM becomes imperative.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the map of students' digital literacy capabilities as opportunities and challenges in implementing hybrid learning. The research uses a survey method with descriptive analysis. The sample was 35 Mathematics Education students, FMIPA, Indraprasta PGRI University, taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research results showed 82.83% digital literacy skills, with the largest percentage being the ability to use technology, namely 30.0% and information and data literacy skills at 21.83%, communication skills at 12.68%, critical thinking at 12.20%, and digital security (e-safety) capabilities of 11.74%. These results show that students' digital literacy skills are still not evenly distributed in every dimension, where the ability to use technology and information and data literacy is quite good, while communication, critical thinking and digital security skills are still lacking. The implementation of hybrid learning is still in the transition stage, namely the ability to utilize technology, literacy and data information. Thus, based on the map of students' digital literacy abilities, it can be concluded that students' digital literacy abilities need to be improved to answer the opportunities and challenges of implementing hybrid learning.

Abstract

Comprehensive information about nuclear reactor coolant materials for application in heat-transfer systems is very important. One important physical property that needs to be known is the thermal conductivity. The goal of this work is to predict the thermal conductivity value of the liquid lead, which is one of the important candidates for cooling materials for Gen-IV fast nuclear reactor designs. The thermal conductivity of liquid lead in this study was predicted using the Green-Kubo scheme and the molecular dynamics (MD) computational method to collect the simulation data. The MD simulation was done in the NVT ensemble, using the Lennard-Jones interaction potential. We observe the thermal conductivity of the liquid lead can be studied based on the diffusion physical process. The thermal conductivity of the liquid lead obtained from this research is λ = 0.0113T + 8.8539 [W/mK]. As a conclusion, this result is very suitable, compared with the available experimental data, then the Green-Kubo method can be used to calculate the thermal conductivity of liquid metal as lead.

Abstract

Pneumonia disease is a lung infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Meningitis is an infection of the meninges and cerebrospinal fluid caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Both diseases may occur at the same time. A mathematical model is needed to represent the spread of pneumonia and meningitis co-infection. This study aims to build the stochastic model of pneumonia and meningitis co-infection with CTMC, determine the transition and outbreak probability, and conduct simulations to assess the effect of increasing the contact rate on pneumonia  and meningitis . Based on the computer simulation undertaken, it can be concluded that if  was decreased while was set to be fixed, the probability of disease outbreak decreased.  If was set to be fixed while  was decreased, the probability of disease outbreak decreased. However, the latter is smaller than the previous. Similarly, if  was increased while was set to be fixed, the probability of disease outbreak increased.  If was set to be fixed while  was increased, the probability of disease outbreak increased. However, the latter is smaller than the previous. Moreover, if both  and  were decreased, the probability of disease outbreak was equal to zero.

Abstract

Stunting remains a serious public health problem in urban areas. A contributing factor to the high prevalence of stunting in the region is the limited availability of clean water and nutrient-rich foods. In addition, this sub-district is at risk of experiencing a clean water crisis in the future. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the integration of rainwater harvesting (RWH) and urban farming to overcome stunting, access to clean water, and food supply in Kalibaru District, North Jakarta. The method used is a social experiment through three processes: community education, RWH installation, and urban agricultural system development. For each process, data collection was carried out through field observations and surveys of 39 respondents. Community knowledge was measured before and after the process through questionnaires, and the results of the integration of RWH and urban farming systems were described. The results showed an increase in public knowledge about the benefits of RWH integration and urban farming. RWH has helped alleviate the problem of clean water availability effectively and economically. Meanwhile, urban agriculture has given communities better access to nutrient-rich foods, which in turn can help reduce the problem of stunting.
