Abstract

Pembelajaran geografi membutuhkan media yang menarik dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan motivasi serta keterlibatan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meng-hasilkan dan mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis Liveworksheets pada mata pelajaran geografi sehingga dapat menarik dan layak untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), adapun langkah langkah penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media dengan presentase 95,58% dengan kategori sangat valid dan 92,04% dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan uji kelayakan oleh pendidik mendapat presentase 100% kategori sangat layak dan dapat diguna-kan. Uji kemenarikan oleh peserta didik mendapat presentase 84% dengan kategori sangat menarik untuk digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan E-LKPD berbasis Liveworkhseets pada mata pelajaran geografi sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk diguna-kan sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Development of E-LKPD based on Liveworksheets on geography research material Abstract: Geography learning requires engaging and interactive media to enhance students’ motivation and participation. This study aims to produce and develop an E-Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Liveworksheets for geography subjects so that it is both attractive and feasible for use. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study include expert validation by subject matter and media experts, yielding scores of 95.58% and 92.04%, respectively, both categorized as highly valid. The feasibility test conducted by educators resulted in a 100% rating, indicating that the product is highly feasible for implementation. Furthermore, the attractiveness test by students reached a score of 84%, categorizing the product as highly engaging. Overall, the findings conclude that the Liveworksheets-based E-LKPD for geography is highly feasible and engaging, making it suitable for use as a learning evaluation tool.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is crucial for fostering responsible behaviors towards the environment, and understanding the variations among different educational settings can inform targeted educational strategies. This study aims to examine differences in environmental awareness among students from three types of secondary educational institutions—Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational Schools (SMK), and Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah)—using a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach. Furthermore, it seeks to explore the implications of students’ environmental awareness on the development of their naturalistic intelligence, particularly through experiential learning activities that address real-world ecological challenges. Data had been collected using a structured questionnaire that had been compiled and analyzed using the RASCH program. Based on the results of the analysis using the Ministeps (RASCH) program, 25 items of the environmental awareness rating scale instrument were obtained from 240 subjects from senior high schools, vocational schools, and Madrasah Aliyah. The data analysis technique in this research applied Kruskal-Wallis. The result of this research showed that the level of environmental awareness of students in the public senior high school was higher than Madrasah Aliyah, followed by the vocational school. Increased environmental awareness has the potential to stimulate students' naturalistic intelligence, fostering a deeper understanding of ecological systems and promoting sustainable behaviours through experiential learning activities that address real-world environmental issues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa semester awal Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Metode deskriptif eksploratif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Kota Garut Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik pengambilan subjek dengan cara purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Institut Pendidikan Indonesia yang mengambil mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Matematika semester ganjil tahun akademik 2024-2025 yang berjumlah 34 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumen jawaban tertulis peserta dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan memeriksa lembar jawaban tertulis subjek melalui proses pengkodean dan pengelompokan. Sementara itu, data observasi dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 79,41% mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca memahami masalah yang disajikan. Temuan tersebut menggarisbawahi bahwa kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis mahasiswa masih lemah. Profile of mathematical problem-solving ability of primary school teacher prospective students: Preliminary study Abstract: This study aims to analyze and describe the profile of the mathematical problem-solving ability of early semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. The exploratory descriptive method was applied in this study. The population in this study was elementary school teacher education students from the Indonesian Education Institute, Garut City, West Java Province. The subject selection technique was purposive sampling. The subjects in this study were Elementary School Teacher Education Students of the Indonesian Education Institute who took the Basic Concepts of Mathematics course in the odd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, totaling 34 students. Data collection was carried out through written participant answer documents and interviews. Data were analyzed by examining the subject's written answer sheets through the coding and grouping process. Meanwhile, observation data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 79.41% of students still had difficulty in reading and understanding the problems presented. The findings underline that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still weak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and identify the factors contributing to gadget addiction in the form of phubbing (phone snubbing) among students at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed to capture the lived experiences of the subjects. Data were collected through source and technique triangulation involving nine purposively selected informants: three students, three parents, the vice principal for student affairs, a guidance counselor, and a Pancasila education teacher. The findings indicate that phubbing behavior is driven by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include high intensity of gadget use, habitual patterns, boredom coping strategies, and the need for emotional satisfaction or entertainment. External factors encompass peer influence, easy internet access, and insufficient supervision or regulation from parents and teachers. The study concludes that phubbing among students is a multifaceted behavior shaped by both personal and environmental dynamics, necessitating comprehensive intervention from schools and families.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create a pictural instrument test for measuring sexual abuse prevention knowledge in deaf children. The research adopts a quantitative approach utilizing descriptive methods. The population in this study consisted of deaf students who could read and communicate in two ways. The sampling method used is convenience sampling of as many as 66 deaf students. The findings reveal that the instrument exhibits strong validity and reliability. The instrument consisted of 39 attitudinal items and was tested using Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) to refine the instrument's accuracy and consistency. The factor analysis process identified 25 suitable items, forming 8 distinct factors based on four key aspects: appropriate and inappropriate touching, safety rules for children, rejecting unwanted sexual advances, and reporting child sexual abuse to trusted adults. The instrument can be a tool to develop targeted strategies, policies, and programs to protect the communities. It is advised that further research be pursued to establish broader validation for this assessment tool while providing thorough justification for the accompanying manual detailing deaf children's knowledge of preventing sexual violence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana umpan balik peserta didik dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas PjBL serta menganalisis respons peserta didik terhadap penerapan model PjBL dalam konteks materi perubahan wujud benda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen untuk mengumpulkan data dari guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SD yang menerapkan PjBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik peserta didik berfungsi efektif dalam menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep-konsep abstrak seperti perubahan wujud benda. Penerapan PjBL yang didukung umpan balik juga meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan keterampilan abad ke-21 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi umpan balik peserta didik dalam pembelajaran berbasis PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Integrating student feedback into PjBL for teaching phase changes of matter Abstract: This study aims to identify how learner feedback can be used to improve the quality of PjBL and analyze learner responses to the application of the PjBL model in the context of material changes in the form of objects. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, which involved observations, interviews, and documents to collect data from teachers and learners of grade IV SD who implemented PjBL. The results showed that learner feedback was effective in adjusting the teaching method and improving the understanding of abstract concepts, such as changes in the form of objects. The implementation of feedback-supported PjBL also improved learners' engagement, motivation, and 21st-century skills. This study concludes that the integration of learner feedback in PjBL-based learning is effective in improving learning quality and learner engagement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan langkah penerapan Project-Based Learning (PjBL), (2) meningkatkan keterampilan menyusun proposal PTK, dan (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar metodologi PTK. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan subjek 116 mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS yang menempuh mata kuliah metodologi PTK Tahun 2023. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa teman sejawat dosen, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) langkah penerapan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) meliputi (a) penyajian masalah, (b) penyusunan rencana projek, (c) penyusunan jadwal projek, (d) monitoring pelaksanaan projek, (e) presentasi hasil projek, (f) evaluasi hasil projek; (2) penerapan PjBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyusun proposal PTK, dan (3) penerapan model Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar metodologi PTK bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Learning classroom action research through project-based learning model for prospective elementary school teachers Abstract: The aims of this study were (1) to describe the steps for implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL), (2) to improve skills in preparing Classroom Action Research (CAR) proposals, and (3) to improve learning outcomes of the CAR methodology. This study used a Classroom Action Research design, with 116 PGSD FKIP UNS students taking the CAR methodology course in 2023 as subjects. The data sources used were students, fellow lecturers, and documents. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and tests. Data validity uses source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that (1) the steps for implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) include (a) presenting the problem, (b) preparing a project plan, (c) preparing a project schedule, (d) monitoring project implementation, (e) presenting project results, (f) evaluating results project; (2) the application of PjBL can improve the skills of preparing CAR proposals, and (3) the application of the PjBL model can improve the learning outcomes of the CAR methodology for PGSD students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran berbasis website dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik. Studi literatur ini dilakukan terhadap 5 artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 hingga tahun 2024. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran terhadap artikel berbantuan kecerdasan buatan yakni SciSpace menunjukkan bahwa usaha dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, dengan menggunakan beberapa platform media seperti berbasis website modul digital, dan media berbasis teknologi lainnya yang secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik. Peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan melalui hasil uji statistik seperti uji N-gain dan uji-t. Selain itu, penggunaan pendekatan ilmiah, pemecahan masalah, dan STEM turut memperkuat efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam melatih keterampilan berpikir logis peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis website efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik, terutama jika dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan atau model yang melibatkan aktivitas ilmiah. Web-based learning for training reasoning skills Abstract: The aim of this research is to analyze how web-based learning improves students' logical thinking skills. The literature study examined five articles published between 2014 and 2024. The results of the search for artificial intelligence–assisted articles, such as SciSpace, show that using several media platforms, such as website-based digital modules and other technology-based media, can significantly improve students' logical thinking skills. This improvement is demonstrated by statistical test results, such as the N-Gain and T-test. Additionally, scientific approaches, problem-solving, and STEM strengthen the effectiveness of technology-based learning media in training students' logical thinking skills. This study reveals that web-based learning effectively improves logical thinking skills, particularly when combined with approaches or models involving scientific activities.

Abstract

One of the popular platforms that is widely used in online learning in schools and universities today is a Learning Management System (LMS). LMS serves as a comprehensive platform used in online learning, facilitating educational engagement between educators and learners in remote instruction contexts. The aim of this investigation is to describe the ability of pre-service teachers to design learning designs based on UbD principles through the Learning Management System (LMS) and describe the Involvement of Pre-Service Teachers in using LMS. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques using documentary analysis and observation sheets. The findings show that the teacher's ability to design learning based on UbD principles through LMS is good. The overall average aspect of the abilities of 30 pre-service teachers is 55% very good, 30.7% good, 11.7% quite good, and only 2.3% were poor, and very poor none. The involvement of pre-service teachers in learning using LMS is good, because more than 85% have actively participated in learning. The implication of this study is to open up new fields of view through modern learning design, provide new learning design when improving the learning process, and provide a potential teacher learning experience when using UbD principles for active learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pemanfaatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dalam studi tentang Growth Mindset. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan sumber data berupa artikel jurnal dan prosiding dari Scopus dan Google Scholar, diperoleh menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Kriteria inklusi meliputi: terbit dalam lima tahun terakhir (2020–2024), berbahasa Inggris, dan memuat analisis SEM dengan topik growth mindset. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan isi, serta divisualisasikan menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa SEM dalam penelitian growth mindset umumnya digunakan untuk memodelkan hubungan mediasi dan moderasi antara growth mindset dan faktor internal (seperti grit, motivasi) maupun eksternal (seperti dukungan sosial, iklim kelas), dengan fokus pada siswa dan capaian akademik sebagai variabel hasil. Tantangan utama mencakup kendala metodologis (ukuran sampel, validitas) dan konseptual (variasi definisi, keterbatasan interpretasi). Penelitian ini terbatas pada sumber data dan rentang waktu tertentu. Studi selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan sumber dan periode publikasi guna memperoleh tinjauan yang lebih komprehensif. Trends and shifts in Structural Equation Modeling applications in growth mindset research Abstract: This study aims to examine the application of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in research on growth mindset. A systematic literature review was employed, using journal articles and conference proceedings sourced from Scopus and Google Scholar via the Publish or Perish application. Inclusion criteria included: publications from the last five years (2020–2024), English-language articles, and explicit use of SEM in studies on growth mindset. Data were analyzed descriptively and through content analysis, with visualization using VOSviewer. The findings indicate that SEM is commonly used to model mediating and moderating relationships between growth mindset and internal factors (e.g., grit, motivation) as well as external factors (e.g., social support, classroom climate), particularly in educational contexts focusing on student academic achievement. Methodological challenges include sample size and validity issues, while conceptual challenges relate to definitional variation and limitations in interpretation. This study is limited to specific data sources and a restricted publication range. Future research is recommended to broaden data sources (e.g., adding Web of Science, ERIC, or ProQuest) and extend the publication period to provide a more comprehensive literature review.
