Abstract

Pendidikan karakter memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik di sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dilaksanakan di SD Gugus 3 Kecamatan Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, dengan melibatkan 18 guru sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), dan tinjauan literatur. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masalah utama pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar meliputi pemahaman yang kurang oleh guru tentang konsep pendidikan karakter, kekurangan sumber daya, dan dampak negatif dari lingkungan sosial dan media. Sebaliknya, peluang besar masih ada, seperti dukungan kebijakan pemerintah maupun sekolah, partisipasi orang tua, dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat dapat bekerja sama dengan baik untuk memberikan pendidikan karakter. Character education in elementary schools: Challenges and opportunities Abstract: Character education plays a crucial role in shaping the personality of students in schools. This article aims to identify challenges and opportunities in implementing character education in elementary schools. This study used qualitative methods and was conducted at Elementary School Cluster 3, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency, with 18 teachers participating. Data were collected through observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and a literature review. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman interactive model. This study found that the main challenges of character education in elementary schools include teachers' lack of understanding of the concept of character education, a lack of resources, and the negative impact of the social environment and media. Conversely, significant opportunities remain, such as support from government and school policies, parental participation, and innovation in learning. This study found that schools, families, and communities can work together effectively to provide character education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran pendidikan inklusi dalam mewujudkan prinsip equity bagi siswa dengan disabilitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap artikel nasional dan internasional yang terindeks Scopus dan Google Scholar, terbit pada rentang 2015–2025. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, eligibilitas, dan analisis tematik terhadap 27 artikel terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa publikasi mengenai pendidikan inklusif berprinsip equity mengalami fluktuasi, namun meningkat signifikan sejak 2021 seiring menguatnya perhatian terhadap keadilan substantif bagi siswa disabilitas. Temuan utama mengungkapkan bahwa equity tidak sekadar menekankan pemerataan akses, tetapi juga keadilan dalam proses pembelajaran dan capaian hasil belajar. Prinsip equity ditentukan oleh tiga aspek utama, yaitu akses input, proses instruksional, dan luaran pembelajaran. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa pendidikan inklusi berprinsip equity berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekaligus membangun sistem pendidikan yang berkeadilan sosial. Realizing equity through inclusive education: A systematic literature review on students with disabilities Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of inclusive education in realizing equity for students with disabilities. The method employed was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of national and international articles indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar, published between 2015 and 2025. The selection process followed identification, screening, eligibility, and thematic analysis stages, resulting in 27 selected articles. The results indicate that publications on equity-based inclusive education fluctuated but increased significantly after 2021, reflecting growing attention to substantive justice for students with disabilities. The findings reveal that equity extends beyond equal access to encompass fairness in instructional processes and learning outcomes. Equity-oriented inclusive education is shaped by three key dimensions: input access, instructional processes, and learning outputs. The conclusion confirms that implementing equity principles in inclusive education not only enhances educational quality through improved learning outcomes but also serves as a strategic instrument for developing a socially just education system.

Abstract

Educating the characters is the process of giving, integrating and, forming teachers' characters for students. In the implementation of the education of characters in the school, the commitment of all the school's residents is required to implement it in a coherent manner. The study aims to analyse the education of characters in two elementary schools base on six pillars of the character, namely trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. This research method uses qualitative descriptive which describes the implementation of character education in elementary schools. Data collection methods use interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis involves three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and retrieval. The results of this study indicate that character education related to trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, care, and citizenship, has been implemented through various activities, including classroom learning, extracurricular activities, habituation, and collaboration with the local community. The significance of the effective education of characters can improve the quality of overall education. When students have a good personality, they will learn more easily, will be more disciplined and will be able to work together better in a group.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan menjelaskan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang berdampak pada pendidikan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui kajian teks hasil penelitian berupa artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal terindeks sinta. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dengan menemukan artikel yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang diteliti. Artikel yang ditemukan selanjutnya ditinjau secara sistematis, yakni dengan meninjau masalahnya, mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mengajukan analisis kritis berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Pencarian atau penemuan artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Google Scholar terhadap artikel yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Tahapan kedua yakni dengan menseleksi artikel, adapun indikatornya berkualitas baik dan relevan dengan pertanyaan penelitian, serta sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. artikel yang ditelusur merupakan artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional tahun 2022-2025. Hasil penelusuran dan penyaringan dengan google scholar diperoleh 997 artikel artikel yang relevan dengan indikator gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Artikel tersebut selanjutnya diberi kode urutan dari 1 hingga 997. Hasil kajian pada artikel ilmiah menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang berdampak pada pendidikan karakter siswa adalah demokratis paternalistik, transformasional, dan kepemimpinan efektif. The leadership style of school principals that impacts students' character education Abstract: The purpose of this scientific article is to identify, analyse, and explain the leadership styles of school principals that have an impact on students' character education. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), while data is collected through a review of research texts in the form of articles published in Sinta-indexed journals. The research process begins with identifying articles related to the research topic. The articles found were then reviewed systematically, namely by reviewing the issues, identifying, evaluating, and proposing critical analyses based on predetermined criteria. The search for articles was conducted using Google Scholar to find articles relevant to the research topic. The second stage involved selecting articles based on indicators of good quality and relevance to the research question, as well as compliance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The articles searched for were those published in national journals between 2022 and 2025. The search and screening results using Google Scholar yielded 997 articles relevant to the indicators of school principal leadership style. These articles were then coded sequentially from 1 to 997. The results of the review of scientific articles showed that the leadership styles of school principals that have an impact on students' character education are democratic paternalistic, transformational, and effective leadership.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-modul proyek IPA berbasis Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 26 peserta didik sekolah dasar yang dipilih melalui random sampling, serta melibatkan validator ahli materi, media, dan bahasa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, dan tes, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan skala Likert untuk menilai validitas dan kepraktisan, serta analisis N-Gain untuk mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berada pada kategori sangat layak dan sangat praktis. Temuan menunjukkan efektivitas pembelajaran dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,73 dan persentase keterampilan kolaborasi mencapai 95,67%. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa e-modul proyek IPA berbasis P5 efektif dan aplikatif sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk melatih keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik sekolah dasar. P5-based science project e-module for training collaboration through organic waste management Abstract: The purpose of this study was to develop a science project-based e-module grounded in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) that is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing elementary students’ collaboration skills. The method employed was research and development using the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of 26 elementary school students selected through random sampling, along with material, media, and language experts as validators. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and tests, and analyzed using a Likert scale to assess validity and practicality, as well as N-Gain analysis to measure learning effectiveness. The results indicate that the e-module is categorized as highly feasible and highly practical. The findings reveal effective learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.73 and a collaboration skills achievement of 95.67%. The conclusion confirms that the P5-based science project e-module is effective and applicable as a project-based learning medium for fostering collaboration skills in elementary education.

Abstract

Donasi digital membantu aktivitas donasi tradisional menjadi lebih efektif dengan jangkauan yang lebih luas, tetapi tidak terlepas dari tantangan-tantangan, seperti penyebaran hoaks, manipulasi data, eksploitasi emosional, dan keamanan data pribadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun suatu kerangka konseptual yang mengintegrasikan perspektif pedagogi kritis Ki Hadjar Dewantara dengan kewarganegaraan digital kritis dalam aktivitas donasi digital. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka dengan pola Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang dilengkapi dengan meta-analisis dan bibliometric analysis. Basis data yang digunakan adalah Google Scholar dan Semantic Scholar, dan untuk menggambarkan data visualisasi peneliti menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer. Integrasi konsep pedagogi kritis Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan kewarganegaraan digital kritis menavigasi donasi digital untuk memerdekakan dan memberdayakan masyarakat, serta mendukung komunitas yang terpinggirkan melalui edukasi, literasi digital, pemikiran kritis, etis dan bertanggung jawab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan, penelitian selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan model pedagogis yang mengaitkan praktik donasi digital dengan pembelajaran kewargaan kritis, khususnya melalui pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara. The practice of digital donations from the perspective of critical digital citizenship and Ki Hadjar Dewantara's critical pedagogy Abstract: Digital donations help traditional donation activities become more effective with a wider reach, but they are not without challenges, such as the spread of hoaxes, data manipulation, emotional exploittation, and personal data security. The study aims to develop a conceptual framework that integrates Ki Hadjar Dewantara's critical pedagogy perspective with critical digital citizenship in digital donation activities. This study uses a literature review approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) pattern, supplemented with meta-analysis and bibliometric analysis. The databases used are Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar, and the researcher used VOSviewer software to describe the data visualization. The integration of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's critical pedagogy and critical digital citizenship concepts navigates digital donations to liberate and empower communities and support marginalized communities through education, digital literacy, critical thinking, ethics, and responsibility. Based on the research results and conclusions, further research is recommended to develop a pedagogical model that links digital donation practices with critical citizenship learning, particularly through the perspective of Ki Hadjar Dewantara.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains murid kelas V melalui penerapan Inquiry–Deep Learning (IDL) pada materi cahaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 28 murid kelas V yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar dari 39,28% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II, serta peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dari 70,08% menjadi 83,77%. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran IDL mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif murid dalam proses inkuiri dan pemaknaan konsep secara mendalam. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa IDL efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran IPA materi cahaya di sekolah dasar. The impact of Inquiry–Deep Learning on light education in Elementary schools Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of learning outcomes and science process skills of fifth-grade students through the implementation of Inquiry–Deep Learning (IDL) on light concepts. The method employed was Classroom Action Research following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 28 fifth-grade students selected using cluster sampling. Data were collected using learning achievement tests and science process skills observation sheets. The results showed an increase in learning mastery from 39.28% in Cycle I to 100% in Cycle II, along with an improvement in science process skills from 70.08% to 83.77%. The findings indicate that IDL promotes active student engagement in inquiry-based learning and deeper conceptual understanding. The conclusion confirms that Inquiry–Deep Learning is effective in enhancing learning outcomes and science process skills in elementary science learning on light concepts.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a multicultural country with a wide diversity of cultures, religions, and ethnicities, emphasizes the importance of promoting inclusivity and preserving local identity through education. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of multicultural themes and representations of West Javanese cultural contexts in 1,000 books donated by the National Library to 10,000 community reading parks in 2024. This study is a qualitative descriptive study using the content analysis method. The population in this study was books obtained from Librarians at the National Library, while the sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, which came from 1000 books with a multicultural context and representation of the West Java cultural context. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out using content analysis. The results showed that 35.19% of the books evaluated discussed multicultural themes. This theme was more common at the intermediate and advanced reader levels (B3 and C) than at the beginner level (A). Books specifically themed around West Java only represented 4.81% of the collection, highlighting the limitations of local cultural narratives. This study concludes that there is great potential to strengthen regional identity, foster pride in cultural heritage, and provide insight into traditional values through the provision of books on cultural heritage.

Abstract

Indonesia is a disaster-prone country; however, disaster mitigation education in elementary schools remains limited in innovation and less engaging for students. This study aims to develop an Interactive E-Comic based on traditional games as an educational medium for disaster mitigation for elementary school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using an adapted Borg & Gall development model. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, one teacher, and 30 fourth-grade students of SDN Kunciran 4 Tangerang. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, and an effectiveness test on disaster mitigation knowledge. The validation results showed an average score of 15.5 from the material expert (very feasible category) and 11.5 from the media expert (feasible category). The teacher’s response to the media obtained a score of 74 (feasible), while students’ responses reached an average score of 15.15 (very feasible). The operational trial indicated an increase in students’ disaster mitigation knowledge, from an average pretest score of 48.20 to a posttest score of 82.50, with an N-gain of 0.66 (medium category). These findings indicate that the Interactive E-Comic based on traditional games is effective in improving students’ understanding of disaster mitigation and can serve as an engaging and contextual learning medium.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are core competencies in determining students' acade-mic achievement and lifelong learning. Elementary schools in Tegalrejo District have implemented literacy and numeracy strengthening programs for the past two years. However, an evaluation of the program has not been conducted. Based on this, this study aims to evaluate the implementation of the literacy and numeracy strengthening program in nine elementary schools in Tegalrejo District using the CIPP evaluation model. Data collection was conducted through surveys, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the strengthening program is effective in strengthening students' literacy and numeracy skills in general, aligned with school needs, supported by appropriate policies, and strengthened by the active involvement of stakeholders, especially principals and teachers. Investments in teacher training and the provision of facilities such as reading corners and numeracy materials have contributed to a more effective learning environment, despite minimal parental involvement. Literacy and numeracy activities are also supported by collaborative innovation and consistent monitoring by the relevant schools. The product evaluation also showed improvements in student competency, a more dynamic school literacy and numeracy culture, and increased publication of student and teacher work. The findings of this study have highlighted the importance of (1) careful planning of numeracy literacy strengthening programs, (2) ongoing professional development for teachers, (3) collaboration between stakeholders such as principals and parents, and (4) systematic evaluation to measure the effectiveness of literacy and numeracy strengthening programs in primary education.
