Abstract

The development of digital technology has forced educational institutions to adjust their promotional approaches. Social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have emerged as very useful communication tools for reaching a wide audience, especially young people. This study aims to examine the use of Instagram and TikTok as promotional channels at MTs YPK Cijulang, while assessing their influence on the school's reputation and appeal. The method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and related documentation. The findings reveal that the use of these two platforms plays an important role in increasing the school's exposure, building a positive image of the institution, and attracting the attention of prospective students and their parents. Content highlighting student activities, academic achievements, and Islamic values proved to be key elements in the success of the school's digital promotion. This study suggests that social media management should be carried out consistently and optimally as a strategic step for school promotion in today's digital age.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of children's fine motor skills through cutting and pasting activities using quilling paper according to picture patterns at Tabitha 1 Kindergarten, Benteng Village, Ambon City. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with quantitative descriptive data analysis across two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The research involved 13 children (7 boys and 6 girls) aged 5-6 years in group B during the 2025/2026 academic year. Fine motor skills are crucial activities for training eye-hand coordination and writing fluency, enabling children to write smoothly during their growth phase. Results from the first cycle showed one child had not yet developed adequate fine motor skills, prompting implementation of the second cycle. The second cycle assessment revealed 0% in the BB (Not Developed) category, indicating the child began developing these skills. The findings demonstrate significant improvement from cycle I to cycle II, confirming that cutting and pasting activities with quilling paper according to picture patterns effectively develop children's fine motor skills at Tabitha 1 Kindergarten, Benteng Village, Ambon City during the 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in developing social-emotional skills in children aged 5–6 years at TK Restu Amanda. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers, and documentation of project activities. The research focused on a project titled “My Mini Garden at School,” which engaged children in collaborative planning, planting, nurturing, and reflecting on their plants. Findings indicate that PjBL enhances children’s self-confidence, collaboration, emotional regulation, and social communication. Children actively participated in group discussions, shared responsibilities, managed frustration, and expressed pride in their accomplishments. The teacher acted as a facilitator, providing scaffolding and promoting meaningful interactions within the zone of proximal development. These results suggest that PjBL is an effective pedagogical approach for fostering social-emotional learning (SEL) in early childhood education, particularly when adapted to local contexts and combined with authentic, hands-on experiences. The study contributes both theoretically and practically by demonstrating the integration of constructivist and socio-cultural learning principles in early childhood settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of personality traits on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with impostor syndrome as a mediator among employees in Greater Jakarta. A quantitative approach was used on 189 employees through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Big Five Inventory (BFI), Organizational Citizenship Behavior Checklist 20 Items (OCB-C 20 Items), and Impostor Profile 30 (IPP-30), then analyzed with SPSS using the PROCESS Macro Model 4. The results showed that the average levels of personality traits, OCB, and impostor syndrome were in the high category. All dimensions of personality traits had a significant effect on OCB (p < 0.05), with the neuroticism dimension showing a significant negative result (β = -2.70; p = 0.044). The mediation analysis results showed that impostor syndrome bridged the relationship between the extraversion dimension and OCB (BootCI 95%: -1.55 to -0.08) and the neuroticism dimension and OCB (BootCI 95%: 0.007 to 3.02), while other dimensions showed insignificant results. These findings confirm that personality traits directly drive OCB, and impostor syndrome can mediate the role of personality traits on OCB in individuals with high extraversion and neuroticism.

Abstract

The use of digital learning media is one strategy to increase student learning motivation. At SMPN 1 Ibun, students still experience low learning motivation due to a lack of varied learning methods and minimal use of interactive media. This study aims to provide an overview of Wordwall management as a digital learning application to support student learning motivation at SMPN 1 Ibun. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The conceptual framework refers to learning motivation theory and the principles of technology-based learning. Wordwall management was analyzed using the PDCA approach: the Plan stage, which involves planning the use of Wordwalls according to learning objectives; the Do stage, which involves implementing media in learning activities; the Check stage, which involves observing student engagement and responses, as well as descriptive questionnaire results; and the Act stage, which involves reflection and subsequent learning improvements. The results showed an increase in learning motivation indicators, such as increased student enthusiasm and activeness during learning. Thus, Wordwall management has the potential to create a more engaging learning environment and support student learning motivation on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of fourth-grade students who often appear unfocused and hesitant to participate in classroom activities, therefore the study aims to examine how the use of rewards can influence their learning drive, and it employs a descriptive qualitative approach through observations and interviews so that students’ learning behaviors can be explored in an authentic manner, and the findings reveal that rewards help foster feelings of joy, increase students’ confidence in expressing their ideas, encourage healthy academic competition, and enhance active participation during learning, thus noticeable improvements in learning behavior emerge when rewards are applied consistently, and the study concludes that rewards have a positive impact on learning motivation when given appropriately, proportionally, and according to students’ needs, and the study further suggests that educators should be more creative in selecting reward forms that not only stimulate temporary motivation but also strengthen intrinsic motivation, while combining them with varied teaching methods to maintain an engaging classroom atmosphere and to support the optimal achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning assisted by smart box media in addressing social emotional problems in early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with 12 children aged 5-6 years in one PAUD class as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observations of children's social emotional behavior during cooperative learning activities assisted by smart box. The results of the study indicate positive developments in children's social emotional aspects, such as increased ability to cooperate, share, wait for turns, communicate, and control emotions. The use of smart box media can increase children's involvement and interaction in learning activities so that the learning atmosphere becomes more enjoyable and meaningful. Thus, cooperative learning assisted by smart box can be used as an alternative learning strategy in supporting the social emotional development of early childhood.

Abstract

21st-century education demands that students have strong literacy and numeracy skills as a foundation for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. However, various national and international assessment results indicate that students' literacy and numeracy skills in Indonesia are still in the low category. The purpose of this study was to obtain information and analyze project-based immersive learning in improving student literacy and numeracy at SMPN 3 Rancaekek, which focused on the planning process, implementation, evaluation, follow-up plans, obstacles and solutions encountered. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results illustrate that in the planning stage (Plan), starting with identifying initial problems, formulating learning objectives, compiling an In-Depth Learning Implementation Plan (RPPM), and determining the project theme. The implementation phase (Do) begins with the presentation of the problem and an introduction to the project, information and data collection, data analysis and development of project products, presentation of results, and student activity outcomes. The evaluation phase measures improvements in literacy and numeracy through project tests and assessments, including literacy and numeracy test results, assessment of the project process and product, and student reflection. As a follow-up plan (Act), enrichment programs, remedial classes, and teacher reflections are implemented. Challenges include limited time to complete the entire project, significant differences in student literacy and numeracy skills, limited supporting facilities, uneven collaboration, and teachers' unfamiliarity with authentic assessment and project rubrics. Solutions to address these challenges include improved time management, differentiated learning, utilizing alternative resources, strengthening collaboration, and improving teacher competency.
