Abstract

This design was performed in the development of the Sliding Book learning media tool by utilizing an Arduino UNO R3-based microcontroller control system. The addition of sensors and controllers in the form of Photodiode sensors and infrared remotes is undertaken with the intention of creating a wireless control system. The data is retrieved in the form of voltage data, current data, and the length of time used in one sliding book viewing. The outcome of this study is a sliding book learning media control design with an Arduino-based wireless control system and the addition of an infrared remote sensor and a photodiode sensor. The test results indicate that the command function of the infrared remote works well to provide wireless control of the motor rotation direction of the sliding book tool on the forward, reverse, and stop displays, and when determining the sliding page position, the photodiode sensor function corresponds to the design position of the page boundary reading. Sliding book control average power consumption was shown to be 1.67 Watts for the forward button for a voltage of 5V, 1.68 Watts for 12V and 1.47 Watts for the reverse button for a voltage of 5V. The power requirement for reverse rotation with a 5V source is 1.47 watts on the reverse button, while a 12V source requires 1.69 watts.

Abstract

Growing awareness of students to love their own culture is not easy, there needsto be an effort to introduce. Culture-oriented learning supported by relevant teaching materials is an articative to the answer. The purpose of this research is the development of IPS elementary teaching material based on Siak Malay songket weaving. It is expected that with the development of teaching materials students will develop a love for their own culture, especially about the weaving of Malay Siak songket and can also increase learning activities. Teaching material products can be used in social studies learning for fourth grade elementary school students, especially on the theme of "The beauty of togetherness" with the sub-theme of "cultural diversity of my people". This research used research and development or R&D method with a 4-D model, which consisted of four stages, namely: (1) Define; (2) Design and; (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. The results showed that the development of teaching materials that have been developed are feasible to be used and are also practical. This was evidenced by the validity of teaching materials seen from: 1) the feasibility of the contents of 93.7 2) the language convention of 93.7 3) the presentation of 87.5 and 4) the 86 graphics, which obtained an average score of 90.2. while for practicality which was seen from the response of students obtained each statement was in the range of 75 to 93.75 which was included in the category of practical and very practical thus the practicality percentage of 87.5. Then it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials is feasible and practical to be used for elementary social studies learning in grade IV primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze supervisory and managerial problems in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly concerning limited learning media and teachers’ limited understanding of the deep learning approach at RA Tahfizh Al-Jannah. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that academic supervision has not been optimally implemented, as it remains administratively oriented and lacks continuous reflective guidance. From a managerial perspective, limitations in strategic planning, resource management, and support for learning media provision hinder the effective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Furthermore, teachers’ understanding of the deep learning approach remains conceptual and has not been fully integrated into instructional practices that promote critical and meaningful learning. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative analysis of supervision, managerial aspects, and teachers’ pedagogical competence within a Tahfizh-based RA educational setting. The study recommends strengthening reflective academic supervision, enhancing teachers’ professional competence through continuous training, and optimizing school management to support effective curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan supervisi dan manajemen sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualita pembelajaran di TK IT El-Buana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru, terutama melalui kegiatan pemantauan, pembinaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Selain itu, manajemen sekolah yang baik terlihat dari pengelolaan kurikulum, fasilitas, serta dukungan terhadap pengembangan profesional guru. Supervisi yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus dan manajemen yang teratur mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan tahap penting bagi perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan fleksibilitas bagi guru untuk merancang pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan persepsi guru PAUD terhadap penerapan deep learning serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi melalui wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah sebagai data utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa deep learning dipandang mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan, namun penerapannya masih terkendala oleh kesiapan guru, keterbatasan fasilitas, dan minimnya pelatihan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi pendidik dan dukungan sarana untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi deep learning di PAUD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia 4–5 tahun di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan melibatkan 40 anak sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui angket dan instrumen observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics versi 25. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri anak berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor empirik rata-rata 49,4, sedangkan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri berada pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) dengan skor empirik rata-rata 16. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai r = -0,320 dengan signifikansi 0,044 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan namun bersifat negatif dengan tingkat hubungan lemah antara efikasi diri dan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa efikasi diri yang tinggi tidak selalu sejalan dengan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal bentuk geometri. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan kemampuan geometri anak usia dini memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif, media visual yang menarik, serta dukungan berkelanjutan dari guru dan orang tua.

Abstract

Kompetensi profesional guru merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan sekaligus pembentukan citra positif sekolah di tengah masyarakat. Dalam era persaingan lembaga pendidikan yang semakin kompetitif, sekolah tidak hanya dituntut unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga mampu membangun kepercayaan publik melalui kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya. Guru sebagai aktor utama dalam proses pembelajaran memiliki peran strategis dalam merepresentasikan nilai, kualitas, dan karakter lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kompetensi profesional guru di SD Tahfidz Plus Khoiru Ummah dalam mendukung promosi sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, observasi terhadap proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas promosi sekolah, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru yang meliputi penguasaan materi pembelajaran, kemampuan pedagogik, keterampilan komunikasi, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, serta keteladanan akhlak berkontribusi signifikan dalam membangun citra positif sekolah. Peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui supervisi akademik yang berkelanjutan berdampak pada meningkatnya kualitas pembelajaran, kepuasan orang tua, dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kompetensi profesional guru tidak hanya berfungsi dalam peningkatan mutu internal sekolah, tetapi juga berperan sebagai strategi promosi sekolah yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Child-Friendly Inclusive Education Policy in Pekanbaru Public Elementary Schools, identifying how the policy is implemented in the process of admitting students with special needs, curriculum implementation, provision of child-friendly facilities and infrastructure, and the roles of the government, school committees, community organizations, and professionals. This study also aims to explore the supporting factors and obstacles that arise in the implementation of the policy, and assess the extent to which the policy has an impact on educational services for students with special needs (PDBK). This research uses a qualitative approach with a policy research method (policy research). Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, class teachers, special assistant teachers (GPK), the Head of the Curriculum Section of the Education Office, and PDBK parents. In addition, this study also utilized field observations and documentation studies of regulations, implementation guidelines, curricula, and school administrative documents regarding the implementation of inclusion. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to determine the alignment between policies, implementation in the field, and the results achieved. The findings of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the effectiveness of implementing child-friendly inclusive education policies in Pekanbaru Public Elementary Schools and produce recommendations for strengthening the program, both for schools and local governments.
