Abstract

Mathematics learning at the secondary school level still faces challenges related to students’ low achievement caused by a lack of self-confidence and independent learning management skills. This study examines the influence of both variables on mathematics learning among junior and senior high school students through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA 2020 approach. Data were collected from the Consensus and Google Scholar databases using relevant keywords, resulting in 78 articles. After the screening, eligibility, and selection stages, 11 articles met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis findings indicate that self-efficacy and self-regulated learning (SRL) have a significant effect on mathematics learning. Self-efficacy enhances students’ motivation and resilience in dealing with difficult tasks, while SRL supports independent learning through planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes. This study concludes that strengthening both variables is an effective strategy for improving mathematics learning at the secondary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a model for strengthening zakat, infaq, alms, and waqf (ZIS-Waqf) funds based on digital community participation to achieve operational financial independence of Islamic Elementary Schools (SDI) in Jagakarsa District. The background of this research is based on the low contribution of ZIS-Waqf funds to school operational costs, which is only around 5%, despite the significant potential of Islamic philanthropy within the community. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method involving five Islamic elementary schools in Jagakarsa District: SDI Al-Falah, SDI Al-Ikhlas, SDI Baitul Makmur, SDI Assalam, and SDI Nurul Iman. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the five schools possess strong social capital, including teacher loyalty, public trust, alumni networks, and active parent participation. However, the management of ZIS-Waqf funds remains suboptimal due to the absence of transparent and integrated digital systems. Based on these findings, this study proposes the “SAW-DIGI SDI” model consisting of four components: Easy, Reporting, Productive, and Affection. The model integrates QRIS-based payment systems, digital financial reporting, productive waqf development, and emotional engagement with donors. The implementation strategy is adjusted to the characteristics of each school. This study concludes that strengthening digital-based ZIS-Waqf participation has the potential to increase internal school financing contributions up to 30% of operational costs in a sustainable manner. Abstract

This study aims to explore the phenomenon of gamophobia among early adult women with a history of domestic violence. Applying a qualitative approach throygh design of case study, the study used two female participants aged 20–30 years who were unmarried and had overcome domestic violence within their family. Data were taken by using kind of in-depth semi-structured interviews done in three sessions for each participant and analyzed by applying the interactive Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, complemented by thematic coding. The findings reveal that gamophobia does not emerge as an isolated condition, but is shaped by early relational experiences within the family, particularly those characterized by emotional distance, verbal abuse, and psychological insecurity. Both participants demonstrated anxiety responses, emotional regulation difficulties, and negative perceptions of marriage as a potentially harmful and unsafe institution. Furthermore, participants exhibited avoidant tendencies in romantic relationships, including emotional distancing and reluctance to engage in long-term commitment. These patterns are closely related to observational learning processes from parental relationships and unmet psychological needs for relatedness. Despite these negative perceptions, the findings also indicate an ambivalent stance toward marriage, where participants still acknowledge the possibility of marriage under conditions of trust, emotional readiness, and a supportive partner. This study highlights the complex interplay between traumatic family experiences, psychological responses, and the construction of meaning toward marriage. The results underscore the importance of trauma-informed psychological interventions to support individuals with similar backgrounds in developing healthier relational perspectives

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is a fundamental challenge in Indonesian education, as reflected in the PISA 2022 achievement, which placed Indonesia in 70th place out of 81 participating countries with an average mathematics score of 366, far below the OECD average of 472. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), which is based on the view that mathematics is a human activity, is recognized as a contextual approach that has the potential to bridge this gap. However, there has been no systematic synthesis specifically examining the trends and effectiveness of RME on mathematical literacy in the 2020-2026 publication period. This study aims to map research trends and analyze the effectiveness of RME in improving students' mathematical literacy through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach referring to the PRISMA 2020 protocol. Literature searches were conducted in Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the Publish or Perish tool with a combination of structured Boolean keywords. Screening and assessment of the eligibility of articles were managed through Covidence using the PICOS framework, resulting in 46 articles as the final data corpus. The study results show a significant acceleration in publication trends since 2023, with research dominated by junior high school students and quasi-experimental designs. RME has been consistently effective across all levels of education, with N-gain values ranging from 0.29 to 0.80, mostly in the moderate to high category, and large effect sizes in several studies. The integration of RME with digital technology further strengthens this effectiveness. These findings provide a solid empirical foundation for the broader implementation of RME in mathematics education policy and practice, particularly within a competency-based curriculum framework.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate students' conceptual understanding of dynamic electricity at SMA Negeri 13 Takalar by comparing the effectiveness of the Proto Circuit Simulator and Voltsim Circuit Simulator media, both implemented through the skill drill practice method. Utilizing a Posttest-Only Comparison Group Design, the study involved two classes selected via purposive sampling, designated as Experimental Group I (Proto Circuit Simulator) and Experimental Group II (Voltsim Circuit Simulator). Data were collected using a validated multiple-choice conceptual understanding test and subsequently analyzed using t-tests. The results revealed a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups; specifically, students taught with the Proto Circuit Simulator achieved an average score of 84.30, falling into the "Excellent" category, while those using the Voltsim Circuit Simulator reached an average of 77.91, categorized as "Good." Statistical analysis yielded a two-tailed significance value (p-value) of 0.013, which is below the 0.05 threshold, indicating that the observed difference is statistically significant. These findings demonstrate that the Proto Circuit Simulator is notably more effective than the Voltsim Circuit Simulator when paired with skill drill methods for enhancing students' conceptual grasp of dynamic electricity. Consequently, this study suggests that the interactive visual interface of the Proto Circuit Simulator provides a superior platform for students to bridge the gap between abstract electrical theories and practical conceptual application.

Abstract

This quantitative research using an ex post facto method aims to analyze the influence of classroom management and learning behavior on the social studies learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at the UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar, both partially and simultaneously. Based on the philosophy of positivism, the data were analyzed using statistical regression techniques. The study showed that both independent variables significantly influenced learning outcomes. The regression analysis yielded a coefficient of determination (R-square) of 0.760, indicating that 76% of student learning outcomes can be explained by classroom management and learning behavior, while the remaining 24% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The adjusted R-square of 0.757 indicates that the research model has strong ability to explain the dependent variable. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient (R-square) of 0.872 indicates a very strong relationship between classroom management and learning behavior and students' social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious issue that continues to increase and poses significant risks to children’s physical, psychological, and social development. Children are particularly vulnerable due to their limited understanding, dependence on adults, and lack of self-protection skills. Therefore, comprehensive and sustainable prevention efforts are required through the active involvement of families, schools, and the community. This paper aims to examine the forms of sexual violence against children and to analyze preventive strategies that can be implemented by the child’s immediate environment. The method used in this study is a literature review, drawing on various academic sources such as journals, books, and relevant legal regulations related to child sexual violence. The results of the review indicate that parental involvement in childcare, the provision of age-appropriate sex education from an early age, community awareness, and the role of schools in creating a safe and child-friendly environment play a crucial role in preventing sexual violence against children. The synergy between families, schools, and communities is essential to ensure that children can grow and develop optimally while being protected from sexual violence.
