Abstract

Language in mass media plays an important role in shaping meaning and representing social reality through the discourse structures used in news texts. Reporting on the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) published by Komoas.com is interesting to analyze because the media not only conveys information but also constructs reality through specific linguistic structures. This study aims to analyze the macro structure of news discourse related to the MBG program using Teun A. van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis approach. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. The data consisted of three news articles about the MBG program published on Kompas.com. Data collection was conducted through documentation techniques, while data analysis focused on identifying the main topics and the organization of meaning within the news texts through macro structure analysis. The findings show that the macro structure of MBG news coverage tends to emphasize themes of program supervision, cases of student food poisoning, and criticism of the implementation system of the MBG program. The selected topics direct readers toward particular understandings regarding both the success and weaknesses of the policy implementation. Therefore, the macro structure in news discourse significantly influences public perception and demonstrates that media texts not only provide information but also represent certain ideologies and interests in constructing social reality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by changes in corporate communication in the digital era, which require companies not only to deliver information but also to create meaningful experiences for the public. PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, through the Otsuka Factory Visit Sukabumi program, implements an open factory and edutainment-based corporate communication strategy to build customer experience. This study aims to analyze the corporate communication strategy of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka based on Paul Argenti’s theory. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. The results show that PT Amerta Indah Otsuka delivers educational, interactive, and consistent messages regarding product quality, production processes, and company philosophy. Otsuka factory visit creates a positive customer experience that increases visitors’ understanding, trust, emotional engagement, and positive perceptions toward the company and its products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' narrative text writing ability after using a series of picture puzzle media in fourth-grade students of SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 27 students. The research instrument was in the form of composing a story that was still random and a narrative text writing test. The pretest results of students who reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with a class average score of 46.55 after being given treatment in the form of a series of picture puzzle media, the posttest results increased to 87.03. The results of the N-Gain calculation obtained a value of 0.75 with a high category. This shows that the series of picture puzzle media can improve the narrative text writing ability of fourth-grade students of SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya

Abstract

This study analyzes the management of the Free Nutritious Meal Program and its contribution to students’ learning motivation at SMKS Indonesia Mas Karawang. The study was motivated by the finding that some students came to school without breakfast and showed low concentration, sleepiness, and limited participation during morning lessons. A qualitative case-study approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and the program coordinator, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that program planning was aligned with the school’s vision and supported by the optimization of available human resources and facilities. Organizing was carried out through delegation of tasks and continuous coordination between the school and the food provider. Implementation ran in an orderly manner and helped students feel more physically prepared for learning, although the increase in learning motivation had not yet appeared in a fully significant way. Supervision was conducted through direct monitoring, gradual evaluation, and anticipatory improvements, especially in menu variation and distribution timing. The study concludes that the program has been managed fairly well, but its effectiveness can be strengthened through better scheduling, more adaptive menu planning, and closer integration with classroom learning strategies.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the strategic approach employed by the PublicRelations Division of Polres Sukabumi Kota in leveraging the online media platformMata Peristiwa for publication purposes, as well as to identify challengesencountered in this process. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology, thefindings indicate that the publication strategy adheres to a structured internalworkflow. In this process, news drafts are initially handled by the Public InformationSection (Penmas) and subsequently verified by the Multimedia Information andDocumentation Section (PIDM) before being forwarded to the editorial team. Onaverage, the division disseminates 40 news narratives monthly. The identifiedchallenges include delays in acquiring statements from sources, limited humanresources, and the necessity for linguistic adjustments between formal institutionallanguage and online media. The study concludes that the deployment of specializedonline portals significantly enhances transparency and expedites the disseminationof police activity narratives to the public.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze development trends, thematic structures, and scientific collaboration patterns in the research on national assessment policy implementation through a systematic literature review approach. The primary focus of this research is to identify the dynamics of scientific publications, knowledge structures, and dominant actors in the development of national assessment policy research within a global context. The research method employs a bibliometric approach using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny software to analyze publication data that has undergone a screening process, resulting in 35 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis was conducted across three main dimensions: Annual Scientific Production and Most Relevant Sources to examine publication trends, keyword co-occurrence analysis to map the thematic structure, and author and country collaboration analysis to understand knowledge production networks. The findings indicate that the study of national assessment policy implementation experiences fluctuating growth with a significant increase in the final period, dominated by themes such as PISA, OECD, and large-scale assessment. Furthermore, the study reveals an imbalance in author and country contributions, with developed nations remaining the dominant actors in knowledge production. In conclusion, this research underscores that the implementation of national assessment policies is evolving within a framework of global education governance, which is heavily influenced by the logic of standardization, educational datafication, and global knowledge structure inequalities. Abstract

The Independent Curriculum (Merdeka Curriculum) is a transformation in Indonesian education that provides flexibility for educational units to optimize student potential, including at the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) level. The primary focus of this curriculum is character development, culminating in the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in early childhood character development, the strategies used, and the challenges faced. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. The results indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in early childhood character development is carried out through two main channels: integration into intracurricular activities (play-based learning) and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) through contextual themes. Character development in this phase focuses on the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, tailored to the child's developmental stage. The main supporting factors are teacher creativity and parental involvement, while challenges lie in teacher pedagogical preparedness and limited facilities in some PAUD units.

Abstract

Arts and Culture Education plays an important role in developing creativity, art appreciation, and environmental awareness of elementary school students. However, Arts and Culture learning on waste recycling material in grade V of SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung is still dominated by conventional methods without the support of technology-based interactive learning media, so that students tend to be passive, less enthusiastic, and have difficulty in understanding the material and developing creativity. This study aims to develop a Wordwall-based educational game media on waste recycling material and to determine its level of validity and practicality in learning. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research subjects were grade V students of SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and validation and practicality questionnaires given to material experts, media experts, linguists, teachers, and students. The results of the study showed that the developed media had a very good level of validity, namely 90% for material experts, 80% for media experts (valid), and 100% for linguists. The practicality test results were categorized as very practical, with an average score of 3.72 in the small group test and 3.76 in the large group test, and a teacher assessment of 5.0. Furthermore, the developed media was also proven to increase student engagement, activeness, and interest in learning Arts and Culture. Therefore, the Wordwall-based educational game media was declared valid, practical, and suitable for use in Arts and Culture learning using waste recycling materials.

Abstract

Marine transportation insurance plays an important role in ensuring protection of the risk of loss of the carrier through the waterway. This research aims to analyze the responsibility of insurance companies for carrier losses due to sea piracy, especially in the case of sea piracy against the MV Sinar Kudus ship. This research uses normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches. Legal sources consist of primary and secondary legal materials. The results show that insurance companies have a responsibility based on the principle of indemnity to compensate for the loss of the insured object. The MV Sinar Kudus hijacking case shows the complexity of liability, both for material and immaterial losses suffered by the ship owner and its crew. Legal protection of the insured is realized through national regulations and international conventions, such as UNCLOS 1982. This research emphasizes the importance of clarity of clauses in insurance agreements, as well as the need for synergy between national regulations and international law to protect the parties involved in sea transportation.

Abstract

The research method used in this study is a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach. This paper raises the case of inheritance rights problems faced by old people, specifically in Kelusa Village, Bali, carried out by DW (male) who did not accept if the inheritance in the form of 21 (twenty-one) pieces of land belonging to the RT's parents was given to the RT who holds the position of old people. The results of this study indicate that the RT as old people has inheritance rights to the inheritance of his parents, on the condition that the old people have been confirmed as male (sentana rajeg). This is based on the awig-awig of Kelusa Village, especially in Palet 4 Pawos 69 (1).
