Abstract

Basic education in Indonesia generally has two types, namely elementary schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture and madrasah diniyah takmiliyah awaliyah under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. However, many places separate the two types of education. The lack of coordination and integration between these two curricula can result in gaps in students' understanding and skills. However, SD YPWKS in Cilegon has a special policy where the school curriculum is integrated with the madrasah diniyah takmiliyah awaliyah curriculum. This phenomenon is the basis for researchers to analyze the curriculum at SD YPWKS Cilegon in relation to improving the quality of graduates. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method. The data collection technique used is triangulation. The data analysis technique used is the miles and huberman model. The results of the research that have been carried out show that the management of the elementary school curriculum and the madrasah diniyah takmiliyah awaliyah curriculum which is integrated at SD YPWKS Cilegon has been carried out well and effectively. This can be seen from the quality of graduates who are superior both in academics, character and spirituality.

Abstract

The character of mutual cooperation is one of the items provided in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project Program (P5). This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in shaping the character of student mutual cooperation at SMPN 2 Labuapi and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in shaping the character of student mutual cooperation at SMPN 2 Labuapi. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach in its implementation by involving Civic Education Teachers, P5 Coordinators, Curriculum Officers, and Student Affairs. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion after which its validity was tested through source triangulation techniques, triangulation techniques, and time triangulation. The results show that the implementation of P5 in shaping the character of mutual cooperation at SMPN 2 Labuapi is regulated by designing a P5 program with the theme of Voice of Democracy, Building My Soul, and Sustainable Lifestyle. In the democracy theme, several elements are applied to form the character of mutual cooperation, namely, creativity, criticism, collaboration, caring, shering. However, for this year only one theme is carried out, namely the Voice of Democracy. Its implementation is supported by the involvement of family, the surrounding environment, and cooperation between students. Abstract

This research aims to analyze previous research so as to obtain a summary regarding the influence of the problem based learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is qualitative research through literature study. The research was carried out through the data collection stage from library sources. This research classifies data based on a survey formula. In the advanced stage, data processing or citing references is carried out, presented as research results, abstracted into complete information, and interpreted into findings to draw conclusions. The results of the literature study show that the problem based learning model can improve students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This research uses a classroom action research method with data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests (observations). The analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. This research aims to improve the skills of class V-B students in writing rhymes. The results in class V-B, the average score of class V-B students in the cycle I rhyme writing test reached 69.4% with sufficient criteria. Meanwhile, the average score for class V-B students in cycle II reached 82.96% with Good criteria. The completion rate in cycle I still reached 40.7%. In cycle II, the completion rate in cycle II reached 85.2%.

Abstract

In today’s educational landscape, the development of critical thinking skills is essential for equipping students to navigate complex information and real-world challenges. Conventional teaching methods, however, often fall short in fostering these skills, particularly in the context of analyzing narrative texts. Differentiated learning, a teaching strategy that tailors instruction to meet diverse student needs, has shown promise in creating a more engaging and personalized learning environment. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of differentiated learning in enhancing students' critical thinking skills in learning narrative texts. Differentiated learning was applied to the experimental group, while the control group received conventional instruction. This study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, integrating both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was collected through pre- and post-tests in both groups and analyzed using statistical methods to measure improvements in critical thinking. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group's scores, with a pre-test average of 55.0 and a post-test average of 83.6, marking an improvement of 28.6 points, compared to the control group’s increase from 48.3 to 64.6, or 16.3 points. Statistical analysis confirmed that this difference was significant, supporting the hypothesis that differentiated learning more effectively enhances critical thinking than conventional methods. Qualitative data, obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, provided deeper insights into students’ experiences and perceptions of differentiated learning. Students in the experimental group felt more confident, actively engaged in discussions, and were better able to analyze narrative structures and themes. They also reported that while social media aided learning, it occasionally distracted from focus. Overall, differentiated learning proved effective in improving students' critical thinking, motivation, and reflective abilities. These findings suggest that differentiated methods can enhance the quality of learning in schools, particularly in understanding and analyzing narrative texts. This study underscores the need for innovative teaching strategies to foster critical thinking in education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengembangan dan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis TPACK dengan metode bermain peran ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui integrasi kearifan lokal dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika di SD No. 4 Tuban. Prosedur pelaksanaan model ini mencakup beberapa tahapan, mulai dari orientasi dengan pengenalan konteks lokal pelelangan ikan, perumusan masalah, simulasi bermain peran, hingga refleksi dan asesmen. Model ini memberikan panduan eksploratif bagi siswa untuk memahami konsep pecahan melalui pengalaman langsung dan penggunaan teknologi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan serta motivasi siswa untuk belajar secara aktif. Asesmen formatif dan sumatif mengungkapkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, meskipun terdapat kendala dalam keterampilan digital siswa dan keterbatasan akses teknologi. Solusi untuk mengatasi kendala ini mencakup penggunaan alat peraga konkret, pengelompokan kolaboratif, dan pendampingan tambahan. Sebagai tindak lanjut, disarankan adanya peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi dan penyusunan modul berbasis kearifan lokal yang lebih mendetail, serta pemberian pelatihan teknologi bagi siswa. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat mendukung guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang kontekstual, meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara mendalam, dan menjaga keterkaitan dengan budaya lokal.

Abstract

The Arabic textbooks used by teachers and students have too high a language and are difficult for students to understand. The material on the aspect of writing skills is very limited, which has an impact on the lack of students' ability in learning writing skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of student teaching materials on learning writing skills. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method that produces research data sourced from needs analysis questionnaires. In the needs analysis that has been carries out, the results obtained that teachers and students need a companion book for learning writing skills as a support in understanding the material presented. So, the learning process will be more focused and students can understand the material well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan atau implemenntasi media interaktif berbasis Heyzine Flipbook terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMPN 12 Barru. Dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka, media digital dinilai sebagai salah satu alat bantu yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner pada siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Heyzine Flipbook mampu meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa secara signifikan, di mana siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam berdiskusi dan lebih mudah memahami materi. Heyzine Flipbook juga meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap teknologi, memudahkan akses materi pembelajaran secara fleksibel, dan memungkinkan siswa belajar secara mandiri sesuai kecepatan masing-masing. Namun, hambatan berupa keterbatasan akses perangkat dan perbedaan keterampilan teknologi di antara siswa menjadi tantangan dalam implementasi media ini. Dengan demikian, Heyzine Flipbook memiliki potensi sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif, meskipun diperlukan dukungan infrastruktur dan pelatihan teknologi untuk hasil yang optimal. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal speaking skills in learning which has an impact on the low speaking ability of grade V students of SDN 15 Ampang Gadang, Agam Regency. This study aims to determine the application of the Paired Storytelling model to improve the speaking skills of class V students of SDN 15 Ampang Gadang, Agam Regency. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are 18 teachers and students of class V, consisting of 7 male students and 11 female students. The results of the research of the first cycle of the teaching module obtained a percentage of 87.5% with good qualifications (B), increased in the second cycle to 97.5% with very good qualifications (A). Teacher activity in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 85% with good qualifications (B), increased in the second cycle to 95% with very good qualifications (A). Student activities in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 85% with good qualifications (C), increasing in the second cycle to 95%. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of knowledge assessment were obtained on average 66.67 with poor qualifications (D), increased in cycle II to 85.6 with good qualifications (B). The results of the first cycle of skill assessment were obtained on average 72.68 with sufficient qualifications (C), increased in the second cycle to 85.6 with good qualifications (B). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Paired Storytelling model can improve the speaking skills of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

Students' low understanding of science learning concepts. This is caused by the presentation of unattractive teaching materials, which significantly reduces students' understanding of science concepts. This research aims to develop GAMPITU learning media products with a Project Based Learning design in science learning for grade IV elementary schools. This research uses the development of the DnD model with six development stages, namely identify the problem motivating the research (problem identification), describe the objective (describe the goal), design and develop the artifact (product design and development), subject the artifact to testing (trial product), evaluate the result of testing (evaluate test results), communicate those results (communicate test results). Based on the results of the research and development that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the GAMPITU learning media is given to teachers and students of class IV elementary schools whose implementation is based on project based learning. At the development stage, the results of product validation by teaching materials expert lecturers were 99.17%, technology experts were 92.5% and language experts were 90% and were declared feasible with slight revisions. Then the user response, namely teacher response as much as 94% and student response as much as 82% of students showed interest in Gampitu media and it can be stated that Gampitu media is considered practical and easy to use as a learning medium. Thus, GAMPITU learning media designed with PJBL is declared effective in increasing understanding of science concepts and fostering creativity in fourth grade elementary school students.
