Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Curriculum is the core of education where the curriculum can be interpreted as a set of plans and arrangements regarding objectives, content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for implementing learning activities to achieve certain educational goals. The basis for curriculum development can be interpreted as an idea, assumption or principle on which to rely. or starting point in developing a curriculum. The foundations for developing a curriculum include: religious foundations, philosophical foundations (perennialism, essentialism, existentialism, progressivism, reconstructivism), juridical foundations, psychological foundations, sociological or socio-cultural foundations and organizational foundations.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the educational game Maze Angka (APE Maze Angka) in enhancing critical thinking skills among children aged 4-5 years at TK Indriyasan, Sleman. The underlying issue of this research is the importance of teaching methods that support critical thinking skills in early childhood education, particularly in addressing the challenges of 21st-century education. This research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study sample consisted of 15 children selected purposively. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity tests, and t-tests with the assistance of SPSS 25 software. The findings revealed a significant improvement in children's critical thinking skills after the intervention using Maze Angka, with the average pretest score increasing from 26.0 to 33.85 in the posttest. The instruments used were proven valid (r-calculated > r-table = 0.444) and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.831). The research data also met statistical assumptions, with normality and homogeneity tests showing significance values > 0.05. The t-test indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t = -16.081, p = 0.000). These findings demonstrate that Maze Angka is an effective learning strategy to support cognitive development in early childhood. The game stimulates critical thinking skills through exploratory activities and problem-solving. Therefore, Maze Angka is recommended as an innovative learning medium for early childhood education.

The development of an inclusive education curriculum based on differentiation is a strategic step to meet the diverse needs of students, especially in elementary schools. This article aims to analyze and elaborate on the concept, implementation, and challenges of an inclusive curriculum combined with a differentiation approach. The research uses a literature review method by analyzing various sources of SINTA-indexed journals, books, and related guidelines from the past five to ten years. The study results indicate that inclusive education in elementary schools often faces challenges in designing a curriculum that can accommodate the individual needs of students, especially those with special needs. The differentiation approach offers a solution that enables flexible, adaptive, and student-centered teaching. This strategy includes differentiation of content, process, product, and learning environment tailored to the abilities and learning styles of students. In addition, strong collaboration between teachers, parents, and stakeholders is needed to ensure the successful implementation of this curriculum. This article recommends the development of training programs for teachers to understand and implement differentiation approaches, as well as the integration of technology to support inclusive learning. Thus, a differentiation-based inclusive curriculum can serve as an important foundation in creating an inclusive, adaptive, and diversity-supporting learning environment for students.

Perkembangan teknologi di era revolusi industri - 4.0 hingga society - 5.0 menuntut adanya adaptasi dalam pendidikan, termasuk penguasaan coding dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang integrasi pembelajaran coding dan AI di sekolah dasar, yang direncanakan masuk kurikulum Indonesia pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan observasi sistematis terhadap jurnal, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan terkait. Hasil utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran coding dan AI dapat meningkatkan kreativitas, berpikir komputasional, dan literasi teknologi siswa. Namun, terdapat hambatan yang signifikan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, kurangnya sumber daya manusia untuk diawasi, resistensi terhadap perubahan, serta kesenjangan digital di wilayah terpencil. Meski demikian, integrasi ini memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui personalisasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21. Kesimpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan untuk mengatasi hambatan dan memanfaatkan peluang ini secara optimal. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyediaan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan pendidikan dalam merumuskan implementasi strategi yang efektif dan merata.

This research aims to identify and develop a conceptual model regarding the contributions of religious leaders to social resilience by integrating findings from both theoretical and empirical literature. The results of this study are expected to enrich the academic literature and provide practical guidance for policymakers and practitioners in designing strategies to enhance social resilience involving religious leaders. The research methodology employs a literature review and concept analysis approach, beginning with a review of relevant theoretical and empirical sources, followed by evaluation and categorization of the literature to identify key themes and relationships between concepts. The conceptual analysis aims to construct a comprehensive model illustrating the role of religious leaders in conflict mediation, social change advocacy, emotional support, and social aid organization. The study finds that religious leaders play a central role in strengthening social networks and community solidarity, which supports social resilience. The findings indicate that religious leaders are effective as conflict mediators, social change advocates, emotional support providers, and social aid organizers. However, there is a gap in the literature concerning the application of theory in practical contexts. This research makes a significant contribution by developing a more inclusive and applicable conceptual model, offering a framework for further research and practice. The findings have the potential to influence public policy by highlighting the importance of involving religious leaders in social resilience strategies and providing guidance for the implementation of the model in various contexts.

Tulisan ini membahas tentang Rencana bisnis ( business plan ) peluang pengembangan usaha lembaga pendidikan islam melalui day care. Day caremerupakan jasa layanan penitipan dan pendidikan anak usia dini yang dikelola oleh sebuah lembaga secara non- formal, selain menawarkan pengembangan kesejahteraan dan layanan pendidikan, day carejuga menjadi solusi bagi para orang tua yang memiliki banyak aktivitas diluar rumah. Atas dasar deskripsi diatas, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Rencana bisnis ( business plan ) peluang pengembangan usaha lembaga pendidikan islam melalui day care”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam tentang peluang pengembangan usaha pendidikan islam melalui day care, mencari faktor- faktor yang menjadi daya Tarik dalam pengembangan bisnis day care. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui perumusan masalah, mengumpulkan 10 artikel yang sesuai dengan topik yang dikaji, serta melakukan studi komparatif terhadap hasil penelitian, membuat tabel data dan terakhir menyajikan hasil kesimpulan. Dari sini didapat hasil bahwa rencana bisnis day carememiliki peluang besar terhadap pengembangan usaha dilembaga pendidikan islam.

This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) in improving the ability of third-grade elementary school students to formulate hypotheses. The subjects of this study were 24 third-grade students at SDI Tebuireng Abdul Wahid Hasyim. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected through observation sheets, student worksheets, and assessment rubrics. The results showed a significant increase in students' ability to formulate hypotheses after following project-based learning. This improvement was due to the active involvement of students in the learning process, the relevance of the material to everyday life, and teacher support. The implications of this study are the importance of integrating project-based learning into the curriculum to improve the quality of student learning.

ABSTRACT "This study aims to analyze the relationship between transformational leadership of school principals and the quality of education in senior high schools (SMA) in Cilegon City. The research employs a quantitative approach using Pearson correlation analysis. Data were collected through closed questionnaires and document studies, involving 50 teachers as respondents selected through a total sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is transformational leadership, while the dependent variable is the quality of education. The results indicate that the data is normally distributed, the relationship between the independent and dependent variables is linear, and the data variance is homogeneous. Pearson correlation analysis yielded an rrr value of 0.571 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a moderate positive correlation between transformational leadership and the quality of education. These findings affirm that transformational leadership by school principals significantly contributes to improving education quality. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening transformational leadership as part of the strategy to enhance the quality of education in senior high schools in Cilegon City. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more effective leadership programs to comprehensively improve educational outcomes.

This study aims to identify the role of the principal in supervising teachers to improve the quality of learning at SMKN 1 Karimunjawa. With a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The results show that the principal acts as a facilitator, mentor, and evaluator through classroom observations, feedback, and follow-up, thereby improving teachers' pedagogical competence. However, obstacles such as time constraints, differences in teacher competence, and resources are still faced. This study recommends strengthening support for principals and teachers, as well as increasing resources to optimize supervision.

Effective school is a strong relationship between what has been formulated to be done and the results achieved by the school. Educational units need to have a clear and measurable vision, mission, goals, and objectives (VMTS). However, not all components of the education unit or stakeholders have the same understanding of the VMTS. This article discusses an experiment to equalize the understanding of VMTS to achieve effective schools through coaching methods with teachers who interact directly with students. Through the application of coaching methods, teachers feel more comfortable and easier to receive information on formal topics such as VMTS. After 2 weeks of implementation, there are developments in teacher administration in learning.
