Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem faced by partners is the lack of innovation in designing learning in the classroom so that it seems boring and monotonous. This can have an impact on students' interest and motivation in participating in learning. So there is a need to increase teachers' creativity and innovation in designing learning, especially designing learning that is tailored to the needs of students. Therefore, teacher competency development is designed through the Learning Community. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers' competence in designing differentiated learning based on the sharing of experience and knowledge among fellow educators. The teacher behavior experienced by students after the KomBel training showed that most of the teachers had shown a medium category, namely 5 teachers (45.6%), and there were 5 teachers (45.6%) who had shown a high category. Meanwhile, those who are still in the low category are 1 teacher (8.8%). This shows that there has been an increase in teacher behavior after being given training through KomBel.

Abstract

The police profession is one of the professions that faces great challenges in crisis situations. Police members are required to make the right decisions and adapt to stressful conditions quickly and effectively. This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence on decision-making and self-adjustment in police members who serve in operational functions. The research method used is a correlational quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 personnel of the Riau Islands Police Directorate. Emotional intelligence is measured based on five dimensions: self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Decision-making and self-adjustment are measured using a standardized scale that has been validated. The results of the study show that emotional intelligence has a significant influence on decision-making and self-adjustment of police members. The dimensions of self-management and empathy contribute the most in supporting quick and rational decision-making skills, while self-awareness plays an important role in self-adjustment to crisis situations. These findings underscore the importance of developing emotional intelligence through training to improve the performance of police members, especially in dealing with stressful situations. This study concludes that emotional intelligence is a key factor that affects the effectiveness of decision-making and self-adjustment in police members. The practical implication of this study is the need to integrate emotional intelligence training in human resource development programs in police institutions.

Abstract

The research conducted is a type of research and development that aims to: (1) produce products in the form of Augmented Reality learning media that are feasible and effective for the learning activities of students in grade III-A SD Al Kautsar Surabaya. (2) The development model used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. (3) Data collection using validation test questionnaire instruments for media experts, material experts, students and pre-test and post-test questions. (4) The results of the study show that the learning media is declared valid or feasible based on the validity test by: a. Media experts obtained 100% results with feasible/valid criteria, b. Material Experts obtained 100% results with feasible/valid criteria, c. students obtained 91.1% results with feasible criteria, d. The student learning outcome test of 28 students had an average score of 69.29 in the pre-test results while the average score obtained in the post-test results was 86.79 so that the learning outcomes increased. From the results of the above trial, it can be concluded that the Augmented Reality learning animation media of metamorphosis material is declared effective in the learning process of science subjects of Metamorphosis material for grade III students of SD Al Kautsar Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in stimulating the creative thinking ability of grade 1 madrasah ibtidaiyah students on the material of recognizing the shape of space. Using qualitative method with ethnographic approach, this research highlights the integration of local cultural values through contextual media in the form of traditional food, interactive technology such as wordwall, and problem-based learning model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis following the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity was based on triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in stimulating the creative thinking ability of grade 1 madrasah ibtidaiyah students on the material of recognizing the shape of a space, including: (1) students can identify spatial shapes through objects such as onde-onde (ball), layer cake (block), and diamond cake (cube); (2) students are able to see spatial shapes from various perspectives, both through concrete and digital media, (3) students show creativity by associating spatial shapes with other objects around them; (4) students can develop ideas in detail and complete challenges on the wordwall. Overall, the CRT approach helps students understand the concept of building space in a relevant, meaningful way, and supports the development of creative thinking skills holistically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of students of Innformatics class VII.3 UPTD SMPN 11 Barru. This research design uses a one group pretest posttest design. Class VII.3 UPTD SMPN 11 Barru became the sample in this study. Data collection was done through a multiple choice question test totaling 10 items for each pretest and posttest test. Test the data of students' cognitive learning outcomes using normal distribution of one sample shapiro-wilk and homogeneity. The results showed a correlation sign of 0.000 <0.05 and in the paired sample t test data the sign value was 0.000 <0.05. Based on this, the value between the pretest and postest there is an influence or relationship to the provision of treatment, so that the snowball throwing learning model as a treatment in learning affects the cognitive learning outcomes of informatics students in class VII.3 UPTD SMPN 11 Barru.

Abstract

The study aims to develop and standardize anti-bullying programs at the elementary school level as an effort to prevent bullying incidents among students where bullying is a serious problem that can affect the physical and mental well-being of students, so it is important to create a safe and supportive educational environment and is designed to increase students' awareness of bullying behavior and impacts, and also build empathy among them. Integration of interactive methods such as musicalization and simulations to make the material more interesting and easy to understand by students and it is hoped that standardized anti-bullying programs can be applied in various other elementary schools, so that they can create a positive culture that supports the social and emotional development of students and reduce bullying incidents significantly, recommending to involve all stakeholders, including parents and communities, in efforts to prevent bullying in the educational environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi landasan yuridis dalam pengelolaan pendidikan di sekolah dasar di Indonesia, berfokus pada peraturan seperti UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen di beberapa sekolah dasar. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa meskipun regulasi telah tersedia, pelaksanaannya masih menghadapi tantangan, termasuk kurangnya pemahaman kebijakan dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan bagi tenaga pendidik serta penguatan sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah untuk memastikan pengelolaan pendidikan yang efektif dan sesuai aturan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the feasibility and response of learning strategies Tafakur Ayat Kauniyah students grade X SMA/MA Strategy oriented tafakur verse kauniyah which means biology learning needs to rest on tafakur activities, namely brooding, thinking, and considering something seriously about the universe. This research so that students have an understanding with the kauniyah verse has the meaning of the embodiment of the majesty of Allah SWT in the form of a universe with study materials in Biology that hold wisdom for those who study it. Using borg and gall development methods. After being tested obtaining a category very worthy of use in SMA /Madrasah Aliyah modified with Kauniyah Verses and can make students more motivated to understand and apply in daily life change the habits and character of students to be better and response educators with very category.

Abstract

This research examines how well TK Darul Ulum Doyo Baru utilized BOS in Stage 1 of 2024 in Jayapura, Papua, and how efficiently they were used. The BOS program aims to provide free basic education to students, improve their education, and reduce financial pressure. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach because the data is derived from interviews and written records. The study found that the school has effectively utilized the BOS by adhering to all relevant rules and technical guidelines. Among the various uses of the BOS are curriculum development, procurement of educational playground equipment, coordination of nutrition programs, and payment of teacher honorariums. Signs of success include increased enrollment, better classroom management, and an overall increase in trust towards the school. According to this research, effective management and collaboration are crucial for schools and foundations to ensure that their funds are usedwisely.

Abstract

School quality is one of the indicators of educational success, encompassing inputs, processes, and outputs. This study aims to analyse the influence of integrated quality management implementation, teachers' professional competence, and parental participation on the quality of private Madrasah Tsanawiyah in East Batang, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative approach with a population of 246 individuals. A sample was selected using the Proportional Random Sampling technique based on Slovin's formula, resulting in 152 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analysed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing through simple and multiple regression analyses, utilising SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that the implementation of integrated quality management positively and significantly influences school quality by 81.3% (Y = 1.077 + 0.040X1). Teachers' professional competence has a positive and significant influence of 82.3% (Y = 11.776 + 0.030X2), while parental participation contributes 83.3% (Y = 69.927 + 0.339X3). Simultaneously, integrated quality management, professional competence, and parental participation collectively have a significant positive influence of 88.8% on school quality (Y = 50.980 + 0.190X1 + 0.295X2 + 0.356X3). These findings highlight the importance of integrating quality management, enhancing teachers' competencies, and involving parents in improving the quality of education at private Madrasah Tsanawiyah in East Batang.
