Abstract

Student Collaboration is one of the essential 21stcentury skills included in the 4C competencies (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration). This skill is important to be developed in the learning process because it can enhance students’ communication and collaboration abilities. However, preliminary observations indicated that students' collaboration was still not optimal, as shown by low participation in group discussions and limited communication among students. This study aimed to improve students' collaboration through the implementation of the Team-Based Learning (TBL) model. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 34 class XI Accounting students at SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that the implementation of Team-Based Learning was able to improve students' collaboration in each cycle. The average collaboration score increased from 75 in the pre-cycle to 84 in Cycle I and 93 in Cycle II. The improvement was indicated by increased students' active participation in group discussions, communication skills, individual responsibility in completing group tasks, and mutual respect among group members. Therefore, the Team-Based Learning model was proved effective in improving students' collaboration in Accounting Practice learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited variety of vocational skills learning provided to low-vision students at SLB A YAPTI Makassar. Based on the observation results, students still have difficulty following the sequence of work steps, require direction and repetition at each stage, are less careful in compiling materials, and have not been able to complete the product independently. This condition indicates the need for the implementation of a more structured and gradual learning method according to the characteristics of student learning. This study aims to determine the initial ability of vocational skills in making flower frame gifts, describe the process of implementing the task analysis method, and determine the improvement of vocational skills after the method is applied to low-vision students at SLB A YAPTI Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative research type. The subject of the study was a low-vision student in grade IX at SLB A YAPTI Makassar. The data collection technique used a performance test consisting of a pretest and posttest, while data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively by comparing the test results before and after treatment. The results showed that the initial ability of students' vocational skills was in the less skilled category. After the application of the task analysis method, the students' abilities increased to the highly skilled category. This improvement is seen in the ability to follow the sequence of work steps, use tools and materials correctly, arrange materials more carefully, and complete the creation of flower gift frames more independently. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the task analysis method is effective in improving vocational skills in making flower gift frames in low vision students at SLB A YAPTI Makassar. This method helps students understand each stage of the work systematically, thereby increasing accuracy, independence, and product quality.

Abstract

Critical reasoning is a primary focus in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum), particularly in elementary school mathematics instruction. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) stands out as an effective model for developing this trait. This article aims to analyze the role of PBL in strengthening the critical reasoning character of elementary school students through a literature review. The study examines scholarly articles, research findings, and education policy documents published between 2021 and 2026. The findings indicate that PBL enhances critical thinking, problem-solving skills, active learning engagement, and the ability to construct logical arguments through contextualized learning activities. Furthermore, the implementation of PBL aligns with the critical reasoning dimension of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Student Profile). Consequently, PBL serves as an effective instructional model and strategy for strengthening the critical reasoning character of elementary school students in mathematics education.

Abstract

This study examines how the principal of SLB Negeri 1 Karawang Barat implements strategies to create an adaptive learning environment for students with intellectual disabilities, viewed from four aspects: planning, implementation, evaluation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. The focus is directed at the implementation stage, in which formulated policies are translated into concrete actions through the placement of teachers according to expertise, curriculum adjustment, teacher competency development, and school-parent collaboration. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case-study design was used. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, the vice-principal for curriculum, teachers, and parents, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results show that strategy formulation was carried out through participatory vision and mission setting and a needs assessment of students. Implementation was carried out through placing teachers according to their field of expertise, applying an adaptive curriculum through Individual Learning Programs, and developing teacher competence through In-House Training and learning communities. Evaluation was carried out periodically through teacher performance appraisal, academic supervision, and monitoring of student development. Supporting factors include principal leadership, teacher competence, and parental support, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities, the diverse characteristics of students, and limited teacher time for individualized services. The study concludes that the principal's strategy has been implemented systematically in accordance with the stages of strategic management, although continuous improvement of facilities and technology-based learning innovation is still required.

Abstract

Digital transformation has shifted adolescents' social interaction patterns to cyberspace, unfortunately accompanied by an escalation in cyberbullying and the spread of hoaxes. Among Muslim adolescents, behavioral anomalies have emerged in the form of a separation between ritual piety and social media ethics. This study aims to revitalize the concept of hifzhul lisan (guarding the tongue) from the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a foundation for contemporary digital ethics (netiquette) to combat cyberbullying. Qualitative methods were used through library research, with thematic hadith analysis (maudhu'i) and content analysis approaches, This study explores the text and contextualization of hadiths narrated by al-Bukhari, Muslim, and at-Tirmidhi. The results show that the activities of typing, creating content, and disseminating information on social media have theological consequences equivalent to conventional oral speech. The contextualization of hadiths gave rise to three main pillars of Islamic netiquette: digital tabayyun (information verification), digital kalam thayyib (positive comment patterns), and digital empathy (transcendental digital piety). This revitalization contributes significantly to deconstructing the effects of online disinhibition and restoring the integration of adolescent morality in cyberspace. Synergy between educational institutions, parents' digital parenting patterns, and adolescent critical awareness is an absolute prerequisite for the successful implementation of this digital ethics formula.
