Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki peserta didik. Lemahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya oleh guru sosiologi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pesrta didik, Salah satu model yang relevan yaitu model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui model Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran sosiologi Fase F di SMAN 1 Salimpaung.Penelitian ini ialah menggunakan teori belajar kognitif yang dikemukakan oleh Jerome Bruner.Teori belajar kognitif Bruner memberikan perhatian terhadap pentingnya pengembangkan kemampuan berpikir, teori ini memandang bahwa manusia sebagai memproses, pemikiran dan pencipta informasi. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif. Informan berjumlah 8 informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil bidang kurikulum, guru mata pelajaran Sosiologi kelas XI, dan peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 upaya yang dilakukan guru sosiologi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kiritis peserta didik melalui modeL pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu (1) Guru menyusun modul ajar berbasis masalah konstektual (2). Guru melilih materi yang dapat merangsang pemikiran kritis (3). Guru menggunakan pertayaan terbuka dan diskusi kelompok (4). Guru membimbing peserta didik untuk mengkaji informasi dari berbagai sumber (5). Guru memfasilitasi proses berpikir mandiri peserta didik. Ada 2 Faktor penghambat bagi guru dalam meningkatkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui model Problem Based Learning yaitu, (1) keterbatasan waktu dan (2) heterogenitas kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penggunaan strategi promosi berbasis digital menjadi suatu keharusan bagi institusi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas dan menarik calon peserta didik di era yang kompetitif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran rinci tentang bagaimana kepala sekolah SD YPKP 2 Sentani mengimplementasikan strategi promosi berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan penerimaan peserta didik baru. Pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan metode studi kasus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Informasi dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD YPKP 2 Sentani menerapkan strategi promosi digital yang multifaset. Ini termasuk: (1) menggunakan berbagai media digital seperti grup WhatsApp, Instagram, dan poster/banner yang dikombinasikan dengan metode tradisional seperti komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut; (2) membentuk tim khusus (panitia PPDB) untuk mengelola promosi; (3) membuat konten promosi yang menarik dengan menonjolkan prestasi sekolah; (4) memberikan insentif berupa diskon pendaftaran; dan (5) membangun kolaborasi dengan para pemangku kepentingan, termasuk orang tua, alumni, dan masyarakat sekitar. Implementasi strategi ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan jumlah pendaftaran, persepsi positif masyarakat terhadap sekolah yang menguat, dan keterlibatan komunitas sekolah yang lebih erat. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan membaca intensif melalui strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) berbantuan gambar seri siswa kelas III SD Inpres Langkowa Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini bertempat di SD Inpres Langkowa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III, dengan jumlah keseluruhan yaitu 13 siswa, Adapun Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) aktivitas siswa siklus I memperoleh jumlah skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah dengan kriteria 30,83 dengan kriteria baik. Pada siklus II dengan skor yang diperoleh sebanyak 31,75 dengan kriteria sangat baik; b) keterampilan membaca intensif siswa pada siklus I rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh 68,25 dengan persentase ketuntasan yang dicapai adalah 38,46% dengan sebanyak 5 siswa sudah mencapai ketuntasan dan 8 siswa lainnya belum. Pada siklus II rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 83,65 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 84,62% dengan sebanyak 11 siswa mencapai ketuntasan dan 2 siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiaan yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi directed reading thingking activity (DRTA) berbantuan gambar seri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif siswa kelas III SD Inpres Langkowa Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

Learning interest is a crucial factor in the success of the educational process. However, in several elementary schools, including SD Negeri Wates 02, students’ interest in learning, particularly in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade V, remains low. Students often feel bored, disengaged, and unmotivated, while teachers tend to rely on traditional lecture methods without incorporating interactive media. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) supported by the Kahoot! web application in team mode in increasing students’ learning interest in IPAS. Employing a sequential explanatory mixed-method design, the study involved Grade V students from two different elementary schools, assigned to an experimental group and a control group. Quantitative data were collected through pretest and posttest and analyzed using independent sample t-test, Welch t-test, and one-sample t-test. Qualitative data were gathered through structured interviews and observations and analyzed thematically. The results showed that the TGT model with Kahoot! significantly improved students’ interest in learning, with a notable difference between the experimental and control groups (Sig. = 0.045), and the posttest average of the experimental class exceeding the effectiveness threshold (Sig. = 0.002). An increase of 6.14% in scores from pretest to posttest was observed. These findings were supported by qualitative data indicating that both teachers and students found the learning process more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable, fostering better understanding and active participation. Therefore, the TGT model supported by Kahoot! in team mode is proven to be an effective and innovative strategy to enhance students’ learning interest in IPAS at the elementary level.

Abstract

The rise of the digital economy has created unprecedented opportunities, particularly for the younger generation. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics of digital entrepreneurship among university students through a systematic literature review. The research synthesizes findings from various academic sources to map the driving factors, significant barriers, and the critical role of the higher education ecosystem. The analysis reveals that students are motivated by a combination of intrinsic factors, such as the desire for autonomy and financial independence, and extrinsic factors, including technological accessibility and low entry barriers. However, their journey is fraught with challenges, most notably a competency gap between technical digital skills and strategic business acumen, limited access to capital, and difficulties in balancing academic responsibilities with business demands. This study underscores that universities play a pivotal role not merely as educational institutions but as central hubs in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The development of integrated support systems including practice-based curricula, business incubators, mentorship programs, and industry partnerships is identified as a critical success factor. This paper concludes by offering strategic recommendations for universities, policymakers, and students to collaboratively foster a more vibrant and resilient generation of digital entrepreneurs. Abstract

This study aims to describe the basic mathematics skills of fifth grade students and explore the obstacles faced in improving them. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with five students as subjects who have scores below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that students' basic mathematics skills are still low, especially in understanding the concept of numbers, arithmetic operations, and their application in contextual problems. Some of the obstacles found include low learning motivation, difficulty in understanding the material, lack of home tutoring, and learning methods that are not fully in accordance with students' needs. These findings indicate the need for more varied learning strategies and support from the students' environment to improve basic mathematics skills optimally. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of difficulties experienced by fifth grade students in mastering English vocabulary in local content learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The data sources for this study were nine fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Larangan, class teachers, and teachers in charge of the local content subject of English. Data collection techniques were carried out through structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that students experienced four main types of difficulties, namely: (1) difficulties in remembering and re-recognizing vocabulary that had been learned; (2) difficulties in translating vocabulary from English to Indonesian; (3) difficulties in spelling and writing vocabulary correctly; and (4) difficulties in pronunciation and lack of confidence in pronouncing English vocabulary. These difficulties are influenced by cognitive and psychological factors, as well as the minimal use of appropriate media and learning approaches. This study is expected to be used as evaluation material and consideration in designing English learning strategies that are more adaptive to students' needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi emaze terhadap motivasi belajar pembelajaran Al Islam siswa Kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yakni desain pre-eksperimen desaign (One Shot Case Study). Berjumlah 11 sampel kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang peneliti gunakan yakni observasi dan angket untuk mengukur pengaruh aplikasi emaze terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan aplikasi emaze terhadap siswa kelas XI di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar memiliki pengaruh baik. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial saat menggunakan aplikasi emaze. Diketahui Bahwa ditemukan pada indikator perasaan senang sebanyak 76,30% siswa memilih bahwa dengan penggunaan aplikasi emaze suasana dikelas menjadi lebih menyenangkan, kemudian pada indikator perhatian siswa sebanyak 76,30% siswa fokus dan menyimak pembelajaran Al Islam menggunakan aplikasi emaze, adapun pada indikator ketertarikan siswa sebanyak 73,56% siswa merasa puas dan betah belajar Al Islam menggunakan aplikasi emaze dan pada indikator keterlibatan siswa sebanyak 86,30% dengan kategori baik. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan penggunaan aplikasi emaze terhadap motivasi belajar pembelajaran Al Islam siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammdiyah 4 Makassar.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model using Animaker video media on the development of critical thinking skills among elementary school students, as well as comparing its effectiveness with the expository method. The underlying issue of this research is the low level of students’ critical thinking skills, which is caused by a lack of innovation in Social Studies (IPS) learning. Using a quantitative approach and a Non-Equivalent Control Group design, the study involved 50 students from two classes—experimental and control—at SDN Bantarjaya 01, Bekasi Regency. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests based on Fisher’s critical thinking indicators and analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that the implementation of the STAD learning model supported by Animaker videos significantly improved students' critical thinking skills (p < 0.05). It was more effective and interactive compared to the expository method, contributing to a 61% increase in performance. These findings affirm that learning approaches tailored to students’ characteristics can optimize critical thinking abilities in Social Studies education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze efforts to improve reading literacy and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bergaskidul 04. The background of this research is the low level of reading literacy and student achievement, particularly in Pancasila Education, as reflected in national assessment data and the 2025 education report. The study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Stringer model, which consists of three stages: look, think, and act, and is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data were collected through observation of teacher and student activities, reading literacy tests, and learning outcome evaluations.The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading literacy and learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC model. The average teacher activity score increased from 86 in the first cycle to 90% in the second cycle, while the average student score rose from 75.5 to 84. The percentage of students meeting the learning objectives criteria also increased sharply, from 17% in the first cycle to 91% in the second cycle. The improvement in students’ reading literacy was evident in all aspects, such as the ability to find content, obtain information, interpret, classify, and conclude. The CIRC model proved effective in encouraging collaboration, increasing motivation, and strengthening students’ understanding of Pancasila Education material.This research provides a theoretical contribution to the development of cooperative learning models, as well as practical benefits for teachers, students, principals, and future researchers. It is recommended that the CIRC model be implemented sustainably to improve the quality of learning and reading literacy in elementary schools.
