Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the implementation of Clinical Supervision in helping teachers set learning objectives that are in accordance with student characteristics and learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Pemalang. Clinical Supervision is a collaborative mentoring approach for teachers in teacher professional development. Clinical Supervision carried out on teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Pemalang aims to determine learning objectives with stages of planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of clinical supervision can improve teachers' ability to formulate learning objectives that are in line with learning outcomes and student characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Quartet Card Learning Media on the Reading Ability of Class II Students. This study uses a pre-experimental research method using a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at UPT SDN Benteng Selatan No. 60 Kepulauan Selayar. The subjects of this study were class II B students with a sample size of 25 people using a sampling technique using only the experimental group without a control group (comparison). The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive data analysis and inferential data, namely normality testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the discussion and results of the study, the effect of Quartet card learning media on the reading ability of class II students, a conclusion was obtained that Quartet card learning media has an effect on students' reading ability. This is evidenced by the results of the posttest which has an average of 84.16, far different from the results of the pretest with an average value of 51.28. The results of this research hypothesis obtained tcount> ttable or 9.251 <2.0639 While the sig value (2-tailed) obtained 0.001 then 0.001 <0.05 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence of quartet card learning media on the reading ability of class II students of UPT SDN Benteng Selatan No.60 Kepulauan Selayar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of positive school culture in shaping students’ character at public elementary schools in Pagerbarang District, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors involved in the process. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study included principals, Islamic Education and Counseling teachers (PAI and BP), classroom teachers, students, and parents from three public elementary schools: SDN Srengseng 01, SDN Kertaharja 01, and SDN Randusari 06. The findings indicate that positive school culture has been comprehensively implemented through various activities such as morning greetings, collective prayers, Qur'an recitation (tadarus), the 3S habit (Smile, Greet, and Say Hello), and a character points system. These initiatives have had a positive impact on shaping students' religious values, courtesy, and discipline. Key supporting factors include teacher role models, active parental involvement, a conducive school environment, and structured school programs. Meanwhile, challenges encountered include student inconsistency in behavior, limited parental support, time and facility constraints, and underdeveloped evaluation systems. The study concludes that consistently and collaboratively implemented positive school culture effectively fosters student character development. Therefore, synergy between teachers, parents, and school management must be continuously strengthened. The findings reinforce the importance of a character education approach based on habituation, role modeling, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in Islamic education for children within the context of contemporary Muslim families. Using a literature review method based on various scholarly articles, the research found that Islamic education in the family significantly influences the development of children's character, moral values, and spirituality. Role modeling, habit formation, and effective communication are the main approaches applied by parents to nurture noble character from an early age. The findings also show that active involvement of both parents, strict digital supervision, and support from the local Islamic community are key supporting factors in creating an Islamic home environment. Islamic education at home has proven to have a mutually positive impact on children's development and the enhancement of parents' spiritual quality.

Abstract

Dokumen Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media YouTube dalam pembentukan karakter siswa pada pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MI Darussalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam bersama guru dan observasi langsung di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video edukatif seperti Nusa Rara mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, pemahaman materi, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai moral pada siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, jujur, dan bertanggung jawab setelah menonton video pembelajaran. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan akses internet dan kebutuhan seleksi konten yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa YouTube dapat menjadi media efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa jika didukung oleh pemilihan konten yang tepat dan pendampingan guru yang optimal. Abstract

The use of TikTok as a social media platform has become increasingly popular, even among young children. However, its impact on their learning interest remains unclear, raising concerns about its role in early childhood education—especially when used without parental supervision. This study aims to explore the influence of educational use of TikTok on the learning interest of early childhood students. The general objective is to understand how TikTok can be utilized as an educational tool that positively affects children’s interest in learning. The specific objective is to identify how educational content on TikTok influences children's motivation and interest in learning, as well as to examine the relationship between social media usage and early childhood learning engagement. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using in-depth interviews and observation as data collection instruments. The expected outcome is a comprehensive research report that describes the impact of educational TikTok use on children's learning interest and provides recommendations for parents, educators, researchers, and policymakers on how to enhance early childhood learning interest in the context of social media usage.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the Counting Flower Educational Play Tool (APE), made from recycled materials, in developing the cognitive abilities of early childhood learners at TK Mardisiwi, Kalibaru Wetan, Banyuwangi. Cognitive ability is a crucial aspect of children's intellectual development, including number recognition, color differentiation, counting, and basic problem-solving. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the use of the Counting Flower tool increases children's enthusiasm, enhances their understanding of basic mathematical concepts, and encourages engaging and interactive learning. Teachers found the tool helpful due to its simplicity, attractiveness, and affordability as it is made from reused materials. Moreover, the tool instills values of creativity and environmental awareness in children. This study recommends the use of creative and eco-friendly learning media as an effective alternative in early childhood education.

Abstract

Computational thinking skills are skills needed to solve various problems that arise in everyday life. Based on the international study of the Programme for Student (PISA), Indonesian students have low thinking and reasoning skills. Therefore, this study aims to develop a game-based learning media (product) called "Swapmaster", to help develop students' computational thinking skills. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the stages of the Borg and Gall model that have been adjusted to the needs of the study. These stages include 1) Research and Data Collection, 2) Planning, 3) Making a draft version of the product, 4) Initial validation test 5) Implementation of analysis (operational field test). The results of the study showed that the application of the Swapmaster learning media that had been validated by experts was able to improve students' computational thinking skills and was included in the "Good" criteria. Abstract

This research aims to improve students' science learning outcomes on food chain materials by using differentiated learning. Differentiated learning is learning that accommodates the diverse needs of students. This research was conducted using the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model Class Action Research (PTK) method which will be used in two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The subjects of this study are 30 students of class V of SDN Tegal Alur 20 Petang. The results of this study prove that differentiated learning can improve student learning outcomes in science learning, this can be proven from the completeness in each cycle. The first cycle activity with the results of student pretest scores of 77% and posttest scores to 67% is due to a decrease of around 10% in student learning outcomes. However, in the second cycle, the pretest score was 80% and the posttest score was 97%, this was due to an increase of around 17%. This can prove that every meeting in both cycle I and cycle II has increased. Although it does not increase overall, this can be proven that in the learning process that has been carried out, it can be seen from the enthusiasm of students to learn and learning is a fun thing with teachers introducing differentiated learning in places where students learn actively and creatively, it can be said that differentiated learning can improve science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to examine multiculturalism from the perspective of the Qur’an and Hadith and how it is implemented in the world of education. This research uses library research. The results of this research show that many verses from the Qur’an and Hadith explain diversity, including race, ethnicity, nation, language, and even religion. However, this diversity is not meant to bring each other down, but rather to get to know each other's. Thus, it is clear that long before the word "multiculturalism" existed, the Qur'an and Hadith already proclaimed it. Furthermore, the three principles of multiculturalism that can be applied in the world of education are tolerance, respect for all people regardless of their background, and justice. In its implementation, several steps must be taken to ensure that the learning environment reflects and respects students' cultural, religious, ethnic, and social diversity, namely: 1. Inclusive curriculum, 2. Training for teachers and staff, 3. Promotion of intercultural experiences, 4. Use of representative learning materials, 5. Development of intercultural skills, 6. Fair and skills-based assessment, and finally support for students from various cultural backgrounds. As a result, it is hoped that understanding multiculturalism will help students become more humanist, democratic, and pluralist in their lives.
