Abstract

Students are expected to fully engage in their subjects and be present in the learning process. It is crucial for students to maximize their concentration abilities to effectively absorb the learning material. Hyperactive-Impulsive behavior refers to an individual's difficulty in controlling their urge to move or speak very actively. If not addressed promptly, students may receive negative evaluations from their surroundings and be perceived as disruptive to the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of individual counseling services using a behavioral approach with Operant Conditioning techniques in reducing hyperactive-impulsive behavior (predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive type) among ninth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 2 Junior High School in Surakarta for the 2025 academic year. This research is a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) conducted in three cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used is triangulation, which involves comparing behavioral changes at the initial condition, Cycle I, Cycle II, and Cycle III. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of Cycle I, a behavior reduction of 45.5% was achieved, with a decrease in behavior intensity of 7 out of 23 indicator points; Cycle II showed a behavior reduction of 24%, with a decrease in behavior intensity of 3 out of 23 indicator points; and Cycle III resulted in a behavior reduction of 0%, with no change in behavior intensity (0 out of 23 indicator points). From this research, it can be concluded that the role of Individual Counseling Services using a Behavioral Approach with Operant Conditioning techniques can reduce hyperactive-impulsive behavior (Predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive Type) among ninth-grade students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low interest and achievement of third-grade students in mathematics at SD Negeri 1 Grogol in the 2024/2025 academic year. To address this issue, the Make A Match model supported by Wordwall interactive media was applied to enhance students’ engagement and enjoyment in learning. Using a true experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group, Class III A (30 students) served as the experimental group and Class III B (30 students) as the control group, selected through random sampling. Instruments included a learning interest questionnaire and a learning achievement test, analyzed with the Mann- Whitney test. Findings indicated significant differences in both interest and achievement between groups, with Sig. values of 0.000 (α = 0.05). N-Gain results showed the experimental group achieved moderate improvement (0.31 for interest; 0.47 for achievement), while the control group remained low (0.21 for interest; 0.14 for achievement). These results confirm that the Make A Match model assisted by Wordwall has a significant positive effect on students’ learning interest and outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI kelas XI di SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengetahui bagaimana gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto, khususnya di kelas XI, (2) bagaimana gambaran kompetensi guru di SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto, (3) bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI di kelas XI SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto yang berjumlah 197 peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 responden dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket untuk kedua variabel, yaitu variabel kompetensi guru (X) dan variabel motivasi belajar (Y). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, hanya kompetensi sosial yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,912 > t tabel 2,032 dan signifikansi 0,007 < 0,05. Sementara itu, kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, dan kepribadian menunjukkan pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan secara individu. Sedangkan secara simultan, keempat kompetensi guru tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik, sebagaimana dibuktikan melalui uji F dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 8,768 > F tabel 2,678 dan signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,531 menunjukkan bahwa 53,1% variasi dalam motivasi belajar peserta didik dapat dijelaskan oleh keempat kompetensi guru, sedangkan sisanya 46,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI kelas XI SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore how English language skills impact the work readiness of students. This study is classified as quantitative research. The focus is on all students from the Hospitality Management program at the State University of Padang, specifically those from the class of 2021 who have completed both their first and second internships. The research sample consists of 64 respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire that was distributed to the participants.For data analysis, several techniques were used, including descriptive analysis of the respondents' data, descriptive analysis of the variables, and partial least squares analysis.The findings reveal that English language skills have a significant influence on work readiness, with an R-squared value of 0.632. This indicates that English language skills explain 63.2% of the variation in work readiness. The T-statistic was found to be 14.704, and the p-value was 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold. This allows us to accept the hypothesis that “There is a significant influence of English language skills on the work readiness of Hospitality Management students in the hospitality industry.” Furthermore, the analysis shows that English language skills have a notably positive effect on work readiness, as indicated by the Original Sample (O) value of 0.795.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan model pembelajaran KATUPAT. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi pertemuan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 19 siswa kelas III di SD Negeri 1 Banua Hanyar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024–2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif, dengan penyajian data dalam bentuk persentase. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang tercermin dari persentase siswa yang tergolong "sangat terampil" yang meningkat dari 37% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 89% pada pertemuan keempat. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, model pembelajaran KATUPAT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III SD Negeri 1 Banua Hanyar

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of elementary school teachers towards the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum as an educational policy innovation in Indonesia. This curriculum is expected to be able to answer the challenges of post-pandemic education by offering flexibility, project-based learning, and an emphasis on the character of the Pancasila Student Profile. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, plus field data from observations and interviews during the Real Work Lecture (KKN) at SD Negeri 04 Talang Tangah, West Sumatra. The results showed that teachers generally responded positively to the freedom in designing learning. However, implementation in the field still faces obstacles such as limited facilities, low training participation, and difficulties in integrating character values into teaching materials. In addition, there is still a gap between teachers' understanding and the delivery of materials in the training. Therefore, support is needed in the form of continuous training, equitable access to resources, and comprehensive evaluation to optimize the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of morphological processes of the Indonesian language found in the Instagram social media posts of ISBI Singkawang (2021 edition). The research method used is a descriptive method, and the form of this research is qualitative. The data sources consist of words, phrases, and clauses, which are then analyzed according to the types of morphological processes. The results of this study show the following morphological processes: (1) affixation, with 76 data findings; (2) reduplication, with 5 data findings; and (3) composition (compounding), with 4 data findings. This research can be implemented in Grade VIII as Indonesian language teaching material on the topic of Creating Advertisement Texts, Slogans, and Posters in the Merdeka Curriculum, specifically targeting the learning outcomes in the elements of writing and listening.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' literacy level in Indonesian language learning. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects included fourth grade students and teachers. The population of this study was 34 students with 17 male students and 17 female students in grade IV. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and interviews, while the research instruments used observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and interview sheets. The results of this study were that there were 6 students who could read fluently, 26 students who could read but not fluently, and 2 students could not read.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik fase A terhadap materi simbol Pancasila. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dijadikan solusi yaitu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji efektivitas dari media PINTAR terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik materi simbol pancasila. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif pre-experiment dengan desain one group pre-test post-test design. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah instrumen tes. Partisipan pada penelitian ini merupaka peserta didik sekolah dasar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan dari penggunaan media PINTAR dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test sebesar 0.00 < 0.05 (taraf signifikansi) artinya media PINTAR cukup efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep simbol Pancasila peserta didik fase A sekolah dasar. Besar keefektivan media PINTAR ini sebesar 69,14% dengan kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian, guru dan peneliti selanjutnya disarankan menyesuaikan media pembelajaran dengan karakteristik peserta didik agar pembelajaran lebih efektif. Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence and influence of game-based learning models on the learning outcomes and retention of learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIS Al-Hudzaifah Dobo. The research method used in this study was experimental research using quasi-experiments. The results showed that there was an influence of game-based learning models on the learning outcomes and retention of learning outcomes of MIS Al-Hudzaifah Dobo students
