Abstract

The phenomena of discrimination, intercultural stereotypes, the dominance of majority culture in the curriculum, and teachers' lack of understanding of diversity are critical issues in the education system. This study aims to identify multicultural issues in education in Indonesia, analyze their impact on the teaching and learning process, and formulate strategic solutions for the development of effective multicultural education. The methodology used is a literature review with descriptive-qualitative analysis of various literature sources, scientific journals, and policy documents related to multicultural education. The results of the study indicate that multicultural education has not been optimally implemented due to an exclusive curriculum, insufficient teacher training, and weak educational policies that are unresponsive to diversity. As a result, students from minority groups experience marginalization, decreased motivation to learn, and feelings of alienation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Game Based Learning (GBL) model on the arithmetic skills of first grade students at SDN Wonoplembon 01, particularty in addition and subtraction of whole numbers. The background of this research lies in the low motivation and arithmetic skilss of students due to the use of conventional teaching methods. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design using the noneequivalent control group design model. The sample consisted of two classes an experimental class that received Game Based Learning (GBL) instruction and a control class with conventional methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest to evaluate changes in students arithmetic performance. The results revealed a significant improvement in the experimental groups arithmetic ability compared to the control group. The application of Game Based Learning (GBL) facilitated a more engaging,interactive,and enjoyable learning environment, which contributed to better conceptual understanding and higher students motivation. Therefore, this study concludes that the Game Based Learning model positively affects students arithmetic abilities in early grade mathematics learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which provides teachers with the flexibility to design contextual and student-centered learning processes. The study aims to describe the strategies employed by teachers in developing teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of Bahasa Indonesia at SD Negeri Bale Atu, Bener Meriah Regency. However, in practice, teachers still face various challenges in independently preparing teaching modules. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were five Bahasa Indonesia teachers for grades III, IV, and V at SD Negeri Bale Atu. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The findings show that the strategies used by teachers in preparing teaching modules include: understanding learning objectives and outcomes, aligning materials with student characteristics, utilizing digital resources, compiling modules gradually, and collaborating through teacher working group (KKG) forums. Challenges encountered include limited understanding of the structure of teaching modules, lack of technical training, time constraints, and limited access to learning resources. Nevertheless, teachers employed various innovations to overcome these obstacles, such as self-directed learning, participating in online training, and developing contextual and adaptive modules to meet students’ needs.This research recommends the importance of practical training and intensive mentoring for teachers in preparing teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as the need to improve facilities and access to learning resources in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of educational administration and supervision in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 1 Trimulyo Mataram, Seputih Mataram District. The approach used is qualitative with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, while data analysis used thematic analysis. The results showed that education administration in this school is orderly, adaptive and supports the flexibility of learning. Supervision is collaborative, educative and data-based, which improves teachers' competence in implementing differentiated and project-based learning. The synergy between administration and supervision creates a conducive and transformative school ecosystem, in line with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar. This finding confirms that the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is highly dependent on effective school governance and reflective and sustainable supervision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project citizen berbantukan media Canva interaktif dalam meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab dan toleransi pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila siswa kelas V SD Negeri Inpres Tinggimae Kecamatan Sumba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh peran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam membentuk karakter bangsa, urgensi pengembangan sikap tanggung jawab dan toleransi, serta belum optimalnya model dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif ekperimen, dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Grou Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test baik pada kelas eksperimen maupun kontrol. Di kelas eksperimen, pada sikap tanggung rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 61,5000, dan nilai rata-rata pos-test siswa adalah 93,6765. Kemudian pada sikap toleransi, rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 59,8824, dan nilai rata-rata post-test siswa adalah 91,1765. Sedangkan di kelas kontrol, pada sikap tangguung jawab rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 61,5882, dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 74,3529. Kemudian pada sikap toleransi, nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 59,0882, dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 75,5000. Sehinggah berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Citizen berbantukan media Canva interaktif pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab dan toleransi siswa di kelass V SD Negeri Inpres Tinggimae Kecamatan Somba Opu, Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

Kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sangat bergantung pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) peserta didik. Observasi menunjukkan rendahnya keterampilan HOTS dan keterbatasan instrumen asesmen digital inovatif, khususnya bagi peserta didik kelas empat. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan mengukur kelayakan instrumen HOTS berbantuan QUIZIZZ untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Studi ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang disederhanakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi ahli (materi, media, bahasa) dan kuesioner uji kepraktisan. Analisis meliputi validitas isi, kepraktisan, validitas butir empiris, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Hasil menunjukkan instrumen ini sangat layak, dengan validasi ahli rata-rata >95% dan uji kepraktisan 92%. Dari 30 butir, 16 terbukti valid dengan reliabilitas tinggi. Meskipun tingkat kesukaran rata-rata mudah, daya pembeda butir soal menunjukkan kategori baik. Disimpulkan, instrumen HOTS berbantuan QUIZIZZ layak dan praktis untuk mengembangkan serta mengukur HOTS peserta didik. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengeksplorasi efektivitasnya dalam pembelajaran nyata.

Abstract

The establishment of healthy eating habits from an early age is a strategic step in creating a strong and healthy generation. The Healthy Eating Friday (JUMASE) program at Ar Rahman Kindergarten aims to introduce and familiarize children with nutritious foods through routine activities carried out every Friday. This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of activities. The research findings indicate that the JUMASE program plays a role in enhancing children's awareness and healthy eating habits, supported by the active involvement of teachers and parents. This program can serve as a reference model for promoting balanced nutrition in other early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and describe the role of parents in the moral development of children in Mata Air Subdistrict, Reok District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Children are a trust from Allah SWT and must be educated from an early age, especially in terms of moral and spiritual aspects. In this context, the family—particularly parents—plays a vital role as the first educators in instilling moral values such as honesty, responsibility, politeness, and respect for others. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that parents carry out their roles through role modeling, habituation, guidance, and supervision of their children in daily life. Parents not only guide their children through verbal advice but also by providing real-life examples in behavior and attitude. Supporting factors for the role of parents include religious awareness, quality time with children, and good communication. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited religious knowledge, negative environmental influences, and time constraints due to work commitments.

Abstract

Analisis soal berperan dalam menentukan kualitas soal asesmen yang akan diujikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan komposisi butir tingkat kognitif soal asesmen sumatif Bahasa Jawa semester genap 2023/2024 dan semester ganjil 2024/2025 kelas IX SMP N 1 Boja. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian evaluatif. Data berupa butir soal pilihan ganda dan uraian berjumlah 90 soal. Sumber data berupa soal asesmen sumatif Bahasa Jawa semester genap dan semester ganjil kelas IX. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi dokumen, baca, catat, dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian kartu data berupa tabel klasifikasi tingkat kognitif butir soal. Validitas data menggunakan teknik expert judgement. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode analisis konten yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian soal semester genap terdapat butir soal kategori C1 dan C2 sebanyak 29 soal (64,4%), kategori C3 dan C4 sebanyak 12 soal (26,6%), kategori kognitif C5 sebanyak 4 soal (8,8%), dan tidak ditemukan kategori kognitif C6. Kemudian, hasil penelitian soal semester ganjil terdapat butir soal kategori C1 dan C2 sebanyak 25 soal (55,5%), kategori C3 dan C4 sebanyak 12 soal (26,6%), dan kategori C5 dan C6 sebanyak 8 soal (17,7%). Hasil analisis komposisi butir tingkat kognitif yang ditemukan pada kedua semester tersebut belum proporsional. Melalui penelitian ini, guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas soal yang dibuat dengan cara berlatih membuat soal atau mengikuti pelatihan penyusunan soal asesmen. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai komposisi butir tingkat kognitif pada tingkatan kelas yang lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya asesmen di Taman Kanak-kanak, sebagai bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari proses pembelajaran untuk memantau pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi asesmen Kurikulum Merdeka dengan fokus pada asesmen formatif, yaitu penilaian yang dilakukan selama proses belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru dan anak di TK Insan Bangsa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru telah mengimplementasikan asesmen melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Teknik asesmen formatif yang digunakan meliputi asesmen ceklis, catatan anekdot, foto berseri, dan hasil karya.
