Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. The principal as a leader plays a role and is responsible for organizing, monitoring, fostering, and improving the teaching and learning process. The concept of democratic leadership style and principal competence has a role in improving teacher performance. This quantitative research was conducted to determine: First: Description of the principal's democratic leadership style; Second: Description of the principal's competence; Third: Description of teacher performance; Fourth: The influence of democratic leadership style on teacher performance; Fifth: The influence of principal competence on teacher performance; Sixth: The influence of democratic leadership style and principal competence on teacher performance. Data on the description and influence of democratic leadership style, principal competence and teacher performance were collected using a questionnaire instrument with a likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using multiple regression at a significance level of 5%. The results of the analysis show that (1) The majority of teachers gave a high rating to the principal's leadership style which reflects participation, open communication, and deliberative decision-making. This finding indicates that principals in the area have implemented democratic leadership principles consistently and effectively. (2) The principal's competence is in the very good category, with an average score of 66.44 out of a maximum of 75, or equivalent to a percentage of 88.58%. Most teachers gave a positive rating to the principal's ability to carry out his leadership role. (3) Teacher performance is in the very good category, with an average score of 64.34 out of a maximum of 74, or equivalent to a percentage of 86.94%. Most teachers are in the high score category. This indicates that teachers have good abilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process. (4) The insignificant influence of the principal's democratic leadership style on teacher performance with a significance value (> 0.05) of 0.537 with a calculated t of 0.619 < t table 1.97. (5) there is a significant influence of the principal's competence on teacher performance with a significance value (< 0.05) of 0.000 with a calculated t of 6.755 > t table 1.97. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Pancasila berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah GUPPI Taipale’leng. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pancasila yang masih bersifat konvensional dan minim interaksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Pancasila berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah GUPPI Taipale'leng. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen, dari nilai pretes sebesar 52,7 menjadi nilai postes sebesar 74,4 yang sebagian besarnya melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).

Digital transformation presents both opportunities and challenges for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in adapting their organizational behavior and marketing practices. Batik Pringmas, a traditional batik MSME located in Banyumas Regency, is currently facing difficulties in transitioning to digital marketing due to low digital literacy, limited human resources, and a reliance on conventional methods. This study aims to develop a strategic change management framework to support behavioral transformation within the organization, using Kurt Lewin’s three-stage model: unfreezing, changing, and refreezing. A qualitative research method was employed, incorporating observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the unfreezing phase involves raising awareness about the urgency of digital adoption; the changing phase includes training on digital tools, utilizing social media platforms, and integrating marketplaces; and the refreezing phase involves reinforcing digital habits in daily operations. The proposed strategy not only facilitates behavioral change but also ensures that the organization can sustain digital practices in the long term. This study is motivated by the limited number of studies addressing the low critical thinking skills among elementary school students, even though this skill has a significant impact on the quality of learning and students’ readiness to face 21st- century challenges. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the improvement of critical thinking skills among sixth-grade students in the Civics Education (PPKn) subject at SD Inpres Oetete 2, Kota Kupang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest model. The sample consisted of 30 sixth-grade students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a critical thinking skills test and analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings indicate a significant increase in students’ critical thinking scores after the implementation of the PBL model, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. These results support constructivist theory, which emphasizes the importance of active student engagement in meaningful learning. The main conclusion is that the PBL model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills through problem-solving- based learning. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on innovative learning strategies at the elementary level, as well as practical recommendations for teachers to integrate PBL into Civics

This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of active learning methods at SMP IT WahdahIslamiyah Makassar, (2) describe the Maharah Al Kalam (speaking skills) of students at the school, and(3) determine whether active learning methods significantly influence the improvement of Maharah AlKalam among eighth-grade students at SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. This research uses aquantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis. The sampling technique used is saturatedsampling with a total of 60 student participants. Data were collected through observation sheets,questionnaires, direct tests, interviews, and documentation.The results of the study indicate that theimplementation of the active learning method at the school falls into the moderate category. Although thismethod has been applied, student participation in activities such as discussions, presentations, andquestion-and-answer sessions remains uneven, thus the effectiveness of the method has not yet reachedan optimal level. Meanwhile, the students’ Maharah Al-Kalam (speaking skills) also fall into the moderatecategory, with an average score of 80.67. Students have demonstrated the ability to speak in Arabicusing grammatically correct sentence structures; however, they still encounter challenges related tofluency, clarity of articulation (makhraj al-huruf), and intonation. Regression analysis shows that the activelearning method has a positive and significant influence on students’ Maharah Al-Kalam, with acontribution rate of 35.5%, while the remaining 66.5% is influenced by other factors such as psychologicalconditions and the learning environment. These findings emphasize the importance of developing activelearning strategies and fostering intensive involvement of both teachers and students in the learningprocess to enhance students speaking abilities optimally.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Pancasila smart boardmedia on the learning outcomes of class 2 students of UPTD SDNBuddan 2. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach usingthe experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design researchdesign. The population used was class 2 UPTD SDN Buddan 2 totaling30 students. The sample of this study used the entire researchpopulation. The instruments used in this study were questions tomeasure student learning outcomes. The data analysis techniques usedin this study were validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests andpaired sample tests. The results obtained from the paired sample t-testof the activeness questionnaire were known to have a sig. Learning media is one of the tools used by teachers to facilitate the teaching and learning process in schools. However, there are still some teachers who have not or cannot use learning media optimally as a tool to facilitate the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe "Teacher obstacles in the use of learning media at SMP DWIPAABADI. The theory used in this study is the behaviorist theory. In this study, the method used is the qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The unit of analysis in the study is the group. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study uses a qualitative approach. The informants of this study are teachers who have obstacles to the use of learning media. The technique used in determining the informants for this study is using the Purposive Sampling technique, namely the type of non-probability sample or determined by the researcher himself. Data collection techniques using interview and documentation methods. The validity of the data uses triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are several obstacles faced by teachers in using learning media, namely: 1) Low teacher knowledge of learning media, 2) Teachers are not creative in making media, 3) Limited time to understand learning media, 4) Feeling comfortable with other methods.

This study aims to analyze the influence of tutor competence on learning performance at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) in Sijunjung Regency. Tutor competence, as non-formal educators, plays a crucial role in the success of the learning process. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 tutors from 15 PKBMs, selected purposively. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that tutor competence significantly influenced learning performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.62. This finding confirms that improving tutor competence can directly improve the quality of learning in PKBM.

Strengthening the character of Pancasila student profiles in grade IV students is still considered less than optimal. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out and describe the Analysis of the implementation of strengthening the character of Pancasila student profiles in grade IV students at SDN 6 Muara Dua. (2) to find out and describe the obstacles during the implementation of strengthening the character of Pancasila student profiles in grade IV students at SDN 6 Muara Dua. (3) to find out and describe the solutions during the implementation of strengthening the character of Pancasila student profiles in grade IV students at SDN 6 Muara Dua. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The results of the study show that (1) grade IV students at SDN 6 Muara Dua have not fully integrated the maximum character according to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, out of 20 students only 70% can be said to show maximum character, the rest are still categorized as not yet. (2) the main obstacles faced by a teacher in integrating the Pancasila student profile in grade IV students at SDN 6 Muara Dua are time constraints and different student backgrounds. (3) solutions in integrating the character of Pancasila student profiles by recognizing student backgrounds and changing the approach. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of strengthening the character of Pancasila student profiles in grade IV students is still categorized as not fully integrating the maximum character.
