Abstract

The author's concern about the low ability of students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year in learning to write short story texts and the limitations of teachers in designing effective learning methods to improve students' skills in writing short story texts is the background to this research. One effort that can be done is by applying the relay writing method in learning to write short story texts. This study aims to: 1) test the effectiveness of the relay writing method in learning to write short story texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year and 2) find out how students' activities in learning to write short story texts by applying the relay writing method to class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study uses an experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental design) type of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The sampling technique used by the researcher in this study was purposive sampling technique, class XI IPS 1 was designated as the control class with 34 students and class XI MIPA 8 as the experimental class with 36 students. Research data were collected through written tests and observation sheets. Based on the results of data processing, the results of the learning process of writing short story texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 academic year experienced an increase between before and after learning with the relay writing method, as evidenced by the average initial test of 72.50 and the final test of 79.31. Based on the results of statistical calculations using the two independent t-test (independent samples test), the t count was 3.842 and the t table was 1.670. So, t count (3.842)> t table (1.670), this indicates that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be stated that the Estafet Writing method is effectively applied in learning to write short story texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Based on the analysis of observational data, it is proven that the use of the Estafet Writing method can increase student activeness in the learning process of writing short story texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an important aspect of mathematics learning, asemphasized in the mathematics learning objectives. However, currently availabletest instruments are still dominated by routine tests and cannot measure students'mathematical problem-solving abilities. This literature review aims to analyze theneed to develop a test instrument capable of measuring mathematical problemsolving abilities validly and reliably. The analysis results indicate the need for aninstrument that contains non-routine (contextual) questions, contains descriptivequestions that can measure students' understanding process in obtaining the finalanswer, and is equipped with an assessment rubric tailored to the indicators ofmathematical problem-solving abilities, namely understanding the problem,planning a solution, implementing the solution plan, and reviewing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students in class VIII A at SMP Sungai Kehidupan Pinoh Selatan in terms of their learning styles. This research is qualitative and uses a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are the students of class VIII A at SMP Sungai Kehidupan Pinoh Selatan. The subjects analyzed and interviewed consist of 6 students based on their learning styles, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used for data collection include tests to measure students' critical thinking skills and questionnaires to determine students' learning styles. Based on the findings obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the learning styles of students—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—affect their learning outcomes, particularly in critical thinking skills. Students with high critical thinking skills are able to meet the indicators, while students with low critical thinking skills have not yet met the indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model strategi pembelajaran PAI yang kontekstual, valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk diterapkan di SDII Luqman Al Hakim 02 Batam. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan alur ADDIE (Analyze Design Develop Implement Evaluate), studi ini memadukan data kualitatif (observasi kelas, wawancara guru/ kepala sekolah, telaah dokumen RPP) dan kuantitatif (validasi ahli, angket kepraktisan, prates dan pascates, serta rubrik sikap religius). Model yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan diferensiasi, Problem Based Learning (PBL) mini, langkah saintifik, media low tech/digital beretika, serta asesmen autentik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan model dan perangkat pendukung (SOP, RPP, LKPD berjenjang, bank media, dan rubrik sikap) dinilai layak oleh pakar, sementara uji coba kelas menampilkan tingkat kepraktisan yang baik dari sisi keterlaksanaan sintaks, kejelasan instruksi, dan keterterimaan siswa. Secara efektivitas, terdapat indikasi peningkatan pemahaman materi, penguatan sikap religius, dan kenaikan partisipasi aktif dibanding praktik pembelajaran reguler, terutama saat guru menerapkan tugas berbasis masalah skala kecil, scaffolding terstruktur, dan pembiasaan nilai secara konsisten. Temuan ini menyarankan adopsi bertahap model beserta pelatihan singkat guru, sekaligus membuka peluang replikasi dan pengujian komparatif pada kelas atau tema PAI lain di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang diterapkan di MI Iskandar Muda Batam, serta menganalisis faktor pendukung, faktor penghambat, dan efektivitas penerapannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama, pembentukan karakter religius, dan motivasi belajar peserta didik di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar, wawancara dengan guru PAI, kepala madrasah, dan beberapa siswa, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI di MI Iskandar Muda Batam menggunakan berbagai strategi, antara lain ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan pemanfaatan media sederhana seperti papan tulis serta alat peraga.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tulisan ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui berkenaan dengan pemanfataan sumber belajar berbasis multimedia dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (PAI). Sungguh disadari atau tidak saat dimana teknologi sangat berkembang pesat bahkan menyentuh dunia pendidikan dengan aplikasi, program dan jenis multimedia yang beragam akan tetapi masih banyak pendidik (guru) yang belum mampu untuk menggunakannya dengan benar dan siswa pun masih banyak yang belum mampu untuk menggunakannya dengan baik. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan eduakasi akan pentingnya multimedia dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI dan cara mengaflikasikannya.

Abstract

This study assesses the effectiveness of the industrial practice internship program for UMS Rappang Culinary Arts Vocational Education students using a mixed-method approach involving questionnaires, open-ended responses, and analysis of final internship reports. Findings show the program is effective to very effective,particularly in technical skills, work readiness, and the relevance of theory topractice. Qualitative data highlight meaningful experiences consistent with Kolb’s(1984) experiential learning stages and Schermerhorn & Bachrach’s (2023)organizational effectiveness theory. Secondary data support these results,indicating growth in skills, teamwork, and innovation. Recommendations includeimproving pre-internship preparation, strengthening mentoring, and enhancingcampus–industry collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Open Ended learning model assisted by Quizizz media on the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics of grade VII junior high school students. The background of this study is the low motivation and learning outcomes of students due to conventional learning that does not involve students actively. The Open Ended model encourages students to think critically and creatively through questions with various possible answers, while Quizizz as an interactive quiz-based learning media creates a fun and competitive learning atmosphere. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design and involves 13 grade VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Prambon. The instruments used are learning motivation questionnaires and pretest-posttest essay tests to measure learning outcomes. Data analysis is carried out descriptively and inferentially. The results of the study showed an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes after the implementation of the Open Ended model assisted by Quizizz. Thus, the combination of this model and media is effective in increasing enthusiasm, active participation, and understanding of students' mathematical concepts. This study recommends the use of this approach as an innovative strategy in junior high school mathematics learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di tingkat sekolah dasar merupakan fondasi penting untuk membangun kecakapan berpikir reflektif dan mandiri sejak dini. Namun, tantangan dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan belajar mandiri dan keterlibatan aktif siswa masih menjadi kendala di banyak ruang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara kecerdasan intrapersonal, partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran, dan prestasi belajar IPAS pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dalam studi ini, dengan melibatkan 60 responden dari dua kelas berbeda. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta data prestasi IPAS diambil dari nilai akhir semester. Teknik analisis regresi linier digunakan untuk mengukur kekuatan hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan intrapersonal dan prestasi belajar, serta antara partisipasi aktif dan prestasi belajar. Siswa yang mampu mengenali emosi, merefleksikan diri, dan mengelola motivasi cenderung lebih aktif dalam proses belajar dan meraih hasil akademik yang lebih tinggi. Partisipasi aktif juga terbukti memperkuat pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap capaian belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan multiple intelligences (MI) dan self-regulated learning (SRL) untuk mendukung perkembangan belajar siswa secara menyeluruh. Rekomendasi utama dari studi ini adalah perlunya penguatan praktik pembelajaran reflektif dan partisipatif dalam kurikulum IPAS di jenjang pendidikan dasar

Abstract

The analysis shows that students' mathematical abilities are inadequate. Available data indicate that 25 out of 29 fourth-grade students have limited abilities. This condition is caused by the application of traditional teaching methods, in which teachers rely too much on teaching materials in the form of reading texts without considering the adequate use of other teaching materials. This situation results in passive attitudes and a lack of willingness to participate in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Game-Based Learning (GBL) model combined with Wordwall media. The main objective of this study is to test the effectiveness of the GBL model in solving math problems at the junior high school level at SDN Karangtanjung. In this study, a quantitative experiment was conducted using a pre- and post-test method. The research sample consisted of 29 fourth-grade students at SDN Karangtanjung. In this study, a narrative test instrument with ten questions was developed. The term “test questions” is associated with the indicator “problem-solving competence” as defined by Polya. In this study, a comparative analysis (Paired-Sample-t-Test) was conducted to analyze the data. The study concluded that the combination of the GBL (Game-Based Learning) model with the Wordwall medium can significantly improve mathematical problem-solving competence. The hypothesis proposed was confirmed significantly, as indicated by the significance test (Sig. 2-tailed) with a result of 0.000 < 0.05. This study concludes that the Wordwall model is an effective method for improving students' mathematical abilities in the field of multiplication.
