Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Wordwall application in order to increase the interest and motivation ofClass VI students in the material of gymnastics floor. The background of this study is the low motivation of students towards learning pjok theory which is still dominated by Lecture methods and the use of conventional media such as PowerPoint. Research using Research and Development (R & D) with ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The products developed are validated by media, material, and learning experts, and tested on students through small (12 students) and large (30 students) groups. Validation results show thatWordwall media is very valid with an average value above 90%. The trial also showed a significant increase in students ' interest in learning,especially in the aspect of attraction. In conclusion, Wordwall media is effective and feasible to be used as an alternative to PJOK learning that ismore interesting and interactive, especially in learning floor gymnastics.

This research aims to describe and formulate a synergy strategy between Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping the Pancasila Student Profile, especially in the dimensions of Noble Morals and Global Diversity in elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through library research. Data was obtained from secondary sources such as books, accredited national journals, government documents, and other relevant scientific publications. Data analysis used content analysis to identify and synthesize concepts from various sources. The research results show that synergy can be realized through; (1) integrated learning planning with a deep learning approach and co-planning between teachers; (2) implementation of learning through team teaching, project-based learning (P5), and habituation of school culture; and (3) holistic and collaborative evaluation. The implication of this synergy enriches holistic and interdisciplinary learning literature and provides practical guidance for schools, teachers, and LPTK. The main challenges include curriculum integration, teacher readiness, and limited collaboration time, which require solutions such as active learning, differentiated learning, digital literacy training, and strong commitment from school leaders.

This study explores the role of community-based art education as a means of social empowerment in Indonesia, emphasizing its collaborative, participatory, and sustainable dimensions. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a multiple case study design, the research was conducted in three art communities: Komunitas Mural Warna Kota in Yogyakarta, Seni untuk Semua in Surabaya, and Kampung Kreatif in Bandung. Data were collected over eight months through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that community art education serves a dual function—both as a medium of aesthetic expression and as a social practice that fosters critical awareness, solidarity, and community self-reliance. Collaboration among artists, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and local governments proved effective in ensuring program sustainability through the implementation of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) values and the strengthening of local identity. This study asserts that community-based art education represents a form of humanistic pedagogy that balances aesthetic intelligence with social responsibility and contributes to the development of art education theory as a form of social praxis relevant to the Indonesian cultural context.

This study aims to determine the availability and condition of facilities and infrastructure at SDN Pinayungan IV, Karawang. The research method employed participant observation and interviews with the principal, sixth-grade teachers, and sixth-grade students. The observation results indicate that the school still faces facility limitations, such as an insufficient number of classrooms, limited toilets, and the absence of a prayer room (musholla), library, and science laboratory. Existing facilities such as the teachers’ room, sports field, and reading corner do not yet fully meet national standards. The study concludes that there is a gap between the educational facility standards set in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education (Permendiknas) No. 24 of 2007 and the actual conditions in the field. It is recommended that the school, the Department of Education, and relevant stakeholders increase their attention and efforts to fulfill the necessary facilities and infrastructure to support the quality of learning.

The decline in physical activity levels among school-age children is a global issue that impacts their physical and psychosocial health. The lack of physical activity in schools can exacerbate sedentary lifestyles, contributing to an increased risk of chronic diseases in the future. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of morning exercise as a school-based intervention to improve physical fitness, fundamental motor skills, cognitive function, and psychosocial well-being in elementary school children. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), gathering data from articles published between 2021 and 2025 through searches in databases such as Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Selected articles were narratively analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques to identify emerging patterns in research related to the impact of morning exercise on children. The results indicate that morning exercise significantly improves cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength, and body composition, as well as enhances fundamental motor skills and increases concentration and on-task behavior. Additionally, morning exercise contributes to reducing anxiety and stress, while improving social interaction and psychosocial well-being. Based on these findings, morning exercise proves to be an effective and easily applicable intervention to support both physical and psychosocial health in elementary school children.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui penerapan media pembelajaran Katano, yaitu modifikasi permainan kartu UNO yang disesuaikan dengan materi pelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 33 siswa kelas VII G SMPN 24 Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar yang signifikan setelah penggunaan media Katano. Pada pra siklus, sebagian besar siswa berada dalam kategori motivasi rendah. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan, namun masih ada siswa yang kurang aktif. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, sebanyak 85% siswa menunjukkan motivasi belajar tinggi, dan hanya 3% yang masih tergolong rendah. Penerapan media Katano terbukti efektif menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, serta mendukung pencapaian indikator motivasi belajar menurut Hamzah B. Uno. Media ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan semangat belajar siswa dalam pelajaran IPS. Media Katano terbukti mampu memenuhi enam indikator motivasi belajar menurut teori Hamzah B. Uno, yaitu adanya hasrat dan keinginan untuk belajar, dorongan dan kebutuhan belajar, harapan dan cita-cita, penghargaan terhadap diri, lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, serta kegiatan belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan.Dengan demikian, media Katano dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara efektif.

The development of elementary school students' character is a crucial aspect within the context of 21st-century education, which demands the implementation of innovative and holistic approaches to shape a generation with strong character and competence. This study combines quantitative and qualitative methods through observations, interviews, and questionnaires conducted in elementary schools implementing character-based and 21st-century competence-oriented learning models. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, thematic analysis, and source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. Results indicate that the application of character-based and 21st-century competence learning significantly enhances students' social, moral, affective, and personal aspects. Main supporting factors include teacher competence, supporting facilities, and a conducive environment, while major barriers involve stakeholder resistance and resource limitations. The main implication emphasizes the need for comprehensive school ecosystem strengthening through teacher training, facility support, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure sustainability and effectiveness of the program. This study enriches educational literature regarding the implementation of character and 21st-century competence-based innovations at the primary education level and provides practical solutions for developing an adaptive and resilient educational ecosystem.

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes, learning activity, and reflective thinking skills through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model combined with Reflective Assessment on the topic of Time Duration (Speed) in Grade VI of an elementary school. The research was motivated by the low level of students’ understanding of the speed concept and their lack of active participation in IPAS learning. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 25 sixth-grade students from a public elementary school during the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using learning achievement tests, student activity observation sheets, and reflective assessment questionnaires. The data were analyzed through descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results indicated that the application of the PjBL model with reflective assessment significantly improved students’ learning outcomes in each cycle. The average learning score increased from 63.2 in the pre-cycle to 76.5 in the first cycle and 88.7 in the second cycle, while the learning mastery improved from 48% to 92%. Students’ learning activity rose from the “moderately active” to the “highly active” category. Moreover, the reflective assessment encouraged students to identify their learning difficulties, formulate improvement strategies, and understand their own thinking processes (metacognition). Therefore, the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with Reflective Assessment proved effective in enhancing learning outcomes, active engagement, and reflective abilities in IPAS learning, particularly in the topic of Time Duration (Speed). This strategy is recommended for implementation within the Merdeka Curriculum to foster meaningful, contextual, and student-centered learning experiences.

This study analyzes the communication strategy of the Tesso Nilo National Park Agency (TNTN) in conserving forests threatened by encroachment, illegal logging, and human wildlife conflict. Using a descriptive qualitative method with interviews, observations, and documentation in Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village, the study examines planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The strategy emphasizes community empowerment by involving local communities, traditional leaders, farmer groups, and women’s groups. Findings show that communication planning focused on persuasive messages, implementation included socialization, training on non-timber forest products, business mentoring, and community-based ecotourism, while evaluation was conducted through monitoring and stakeholder coordination. Overall, the strategy improved participation, reduced illegal practices, and raised collective awareness, although decision-making remains dominated by TNTN. The study concludes that effective forest conservation requires participatory communication and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Perkembangan fisik pada masa anak-anak meliputi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan organ tubuh, sistem saraf, dan kemampuan motorik. Hal ini dikarenakan masa pertumbihan anak tersebut merupakan masa yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan seseorang, di mana terjadi banyak perubahan dan perkembangan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana Perkembangan Peserta didik selama masa Sekolah pada tingkat Dasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Aktifitas Kemandirian (PAK), program ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan; September-Oktober 2025 pada sekolah dasar negeri Cikundul Jawa Barat. Program ini melalui tahapan dan aspek penting meliputi pertumbuhan fisik , perkembangan keterampilan motorik, dan perkembangan otak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik kualitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kepercayaan diri, kreativitas, dan kesadaran kontekstual guru dalam mengajar, serta peningkatan keterlibatan peserta didik. Guru mulai mengintegrasikan aktivitas motorik, materi, dan pengalaman sehari-hari ke dalam pengajaran mereka, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih relevan dan partisipatif. Model kemandirian program terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan agensi guru dan inovasi pedagogis yang berkelanjutan. Prakarsa ini berkontribusi pada model pengembangan profesional guru dengan menunjukkan bagaimana tahapan dan aspek penting dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik dalam pendidikan dasar.
