Abstract

Abstrak: Cyberbullying merupakan masalah serius di kalangan pelajar akibat pertumbuhan komunikasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencegah dan mengurangi kasus cyberbullying di SMPN 2 Godean melalui aplikasi berbasis AI "Bully Buster." Aplikasi ini memanfaatkan AI dan Natural Language Processing (NLP) untuk mendeteksi dan memantau potensi cyberbullying dalam komunikasi digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pengembangan aplikasi, pelatihan bagi guru dan konselor, serta kampanye kesadaran. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah SMPN 2 Godean dengan 381 siswa dan 35 tenaga pengajar. Sistem evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan keterampilan dalam mendeteksi dan menangani cyberbullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran siswa dan staf tentang risiko serta dampak cyberbullying, dengan peningkatan keterampilan sebesar 40%. Program ini berkontribusi pada lingkungan digital yang lebih aman dan peningkatan kesejahteraan mental siswa.Abstract: Cyberbullying is a serious problem among students due to the growth of digital communication. This study aims to prevent and reduce cases of cyberbullying at SMPN 2 Godean through the AI-based application "Bully Buster." This application utilizes AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to detect and monitor potential cyberbullying in digital communication. The implementation method includes application development, training for teachers and counselors, and an awareness campaign. The partner in this activity is SMPN 2 Godean with 381 students and 35 teachers. The evaluation system is carried out through pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure the improvement of skills in detecting and handling cyberbullying. The results of the study showed an increase in student and staff awareness of the risks and impacts of cyberbullying, with a 40% increase in skills. This program contributes to a safer digital environment and improved student mental well-being.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas digital pelaku UMKM anyaman bambu dalam strategi branding dan promosi berbasis potensi lokal. Mitra kegiatan terdiri atas 20 pengrajin anyaman bambu di salah satu desa sentra bambu di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan interaktif, dan praktik langsung yang difokuskan pada materi branding, storytelling produk, inovasi desain, serta pemanfaatan media sosial dan marketplace sebagai media promosi digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest–posttest, observasi keterlibatan peserta, penilaian hasil praktik digital, dan kuesioner. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan digital peserta, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan nilai rata-rata dari 63,9 pada pretest menjadi 90,1 pada posttest, atau meningkat sebesar 43%. Selain itu, peserta berhasil menghasilkan identitas merek dan logo produk yang lebih profesional serta memiliki akun promosi digital yang siap digunakan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM anyaman bambu dan menjadi langkah awal penguatan ekosistem ekonomi kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal di era digital.Abstract: This community service activity aims to increase the digital capacity of bamboo weaving MSMEs in branding and promotional strategies based on local potential. The activity partners consisted of 20 bamboo weaving artisans in one of the bamboo center villages in East Java Province. The implementation method included socialization, interactive training, and hands-on practice focused on branding materials, product storytelling, design innovation, and the use of social media and marketplaces as digital promotional media. Evaluation was carried out through pretests and posttests, observations of participant engagement, assessment of digital practice results, and questionnaires. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' digital knowledge and skills, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 63.9 in the pretest to 90.1 in the posttest, an increase of 43%. In addition, participants succeeded in creating more professional brand identities and product logos and having ready-to-use digital promotional accounts. This activity contributed to increasing the competitiveness of bamboo weaving MSMEs and was the first step in strengthening the creative economy ecosystem based on local wisdom in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstrak: Maraknya penggunaan krim pemutih ilegal di kalangan remaja putri menimbulkan risiko kesehatan akibat kandungan bahan berbahaya seperti merkuri dan hidrokuinon. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja SMA di Kota Malang mengenai kosmetik yang aman sesuai ketentuan BPOM melalui media buku cerita interaktif “Cantik dan Sehat dengan Apoteker Rexy.” Metode meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok, serta distribusi buku interaktif kepada 161 siswi dari 16 SMA/K. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test dengan 20 butir pertanyaan terkait definisi, bahan aktif, keamanan, dan legalitas produk kosmetik. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan dari 73,13 menjadi 78,17 (kenaikan 6,8%) dengan peningkatan kategori “Baik” dari 40% menjadi 55%. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan p=0,000 yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Program ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan literasi kosmetik remaja dan berpotensi direplikasi melalui pendekatan train-the-trainer untuk mencetak duta literasi kosmetik di sekolah.Abstract: The widespread use of illegal whitening creams among teenage girls poses serious health risks due to harmful ingredients such as mercury and hydroquinone. This community engagement aimed to improve cosmetic literacy among high school students in Malang through an interactive storybook titled “Beautiful and Healthy with Pharmacist Rexy.” The program included counseling, group discussions, and the distribution of the storybook to 161 female students from 16 schools. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests with 20 questions covering cosmetic definitions, active ingredients, safety, and legality. Results showed an increase in average knowledge scores from 73.13 to 78.17 (6.8% improvement) and a rise in the “Good” category from 40% to 55%. The Wilcoxon test revealed a statistically significant difference (p = 0.000). The intervention effectively enhanced students’ understanding of safe cosmetic use and has potential for replication using a train-the-trainer model to create cosmetic literacy ambassadors in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Wisata Banyumaro River Tubing di Kabupaten Malang, merupakan destinasi wisata berbasis komunitas yang dihadapkan pada tantangan terkait sistem keselamatan, manajemen operasional, dan efektivitas promosi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui implementasi teknologi digital sebagai strategi penguatan daya saing wisata dan peningkatan keselamatan pengunjung. Metode pelaksanaan ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang dikombinasikan dengan metode eksperimental penerapan teknologi dalam penerapan sistem monitoring digital berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) serta penguatan manajemen layanan wisata. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, angket pre-test dan post-test, serta wawancara dengan mitra, dengan indikator keberhasilan meliputi peningkatan akurasi informasi keselamatan, efisiensi operasional, dan kepuasan pengunjung. Penerapan teknologi berhasil meningkatkan akurasi informasi kelayakan jalur pengarungan dari 50% menjadi 95% dan efisiensi operasional dari 70% menjadi 98%. Selain itu, tingkat kepuasan pengunjung meningkat dari 90% menjadi 100% melalui ketersediaan informasi keselamatan secara real time yang mendorong rasa aman saat berwisata. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi teknologi digital meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam manajemen layanan dan pemasaran digital sekaligus memperkuat keselamatan, profesionalisme, daya saing, serta keberlanjutan ekonomi wisata alam berbasis komunitas.Abstract: The Banyumaro River Tubing Tourism in Malang Regency is a community-based tourism destination facing challenges related to safety systems, operational management, and promotional effectiveness. This community service activity aims to enhance community empowerment through the implementation of digital technology as a strategy to strengthen tourism competitiveness and improve visitor safety. This implementation method uses a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach combined with experimental methods of technology application in the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based digital monitoring system and strengthening tourism service management. Activity evaluation was carried out through field observations, pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and interviews with partners, with success indicators including increasing the accuracy of safety information, operational efficiency, and visitor satisfaction. The application of technology successfully increased the accuracy of rafting route feasibility information from 50% to 95% and operational efficiency from 70% to 98%. In addition, the level of visitor satisfaction increased from 90% to 100% through the availability of real-time safety information that promotes a sense of security while traveling. Overall, the integration of digital technology increases the capacity of partners in service management and digital marketing while strengthening the safety, professionalism, competitiveness, and economic sustainability of community-based nature tourism.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan otomasi industri pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut tenaga kerja dengan kompetensi aplikatif dalam pemrograman Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dan sistem pneumatik. Dalam konteks pendidikan vokasi, pencapaian kompetensi tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan media pembelajaran praktik yang terintegrasi dan kontekstual. Namun, pembelajaran otomasi industri di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan masih menghadapi keterbatasan media praktik yang mampu menghubungkan teori dan aplikasi secara utuh. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan trainer pneumatik berbasis PLC modular sebagai media pembelajaran praktik otomasi industri, serta mendampingi penggunaannya melalui pendekatan project-based learning. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan dan pembuatan trainer, implementasi dan pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan angket skala Likert untuk menilai kualitas alat, efektivitas pembelajaran, manfaat, serta kendala penggunaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa trainer yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas fisik dan fungsional yang baik, dengan skor rata-rata aspek kualitas peralatan sebesar 4,10 (baik sekali), aspek pembelajaran 3,96 (baik), aspek manfaat 4,15 (baik sekali), serta aspek kendala dan pengembangan 3,97 (baik). Trainer terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktis, dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam sistem otomasi industri.Abstract: The development of industrial automation in the era of Industry 4.0 requires a workforce with strong applied competencies in programmable control systems and industrial actuation technologies. In vocational education, the achievement of such competencies is highly dependent on the availability of integrated and contextual practical learning media. However, industrial automation learning at the vocational secondary level still faces limitations in practical training media that effectively bridge theoretical concepts and real-world applications. This community service program aimed to design and implement a modular PLC-based pneumatic trainer as a practical learning medium for industrial automation, accompanied by its application through a project-based learning approach. The implementation employed a participatory method consisting of needs identification, trainer design and fabrication, implementation and mentoring, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Evaluation was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire to assess equipment quality, learning effectiveness, perceived benefits, and usage constraints. The results indicate that the developed trainer demonstrated good physical and functional quality, with average scores of 4.10 for equipment quality (very good), 3.96 for learning effectiveness (good), 4.15 for learning benefits (very good), and 3.97 for constraints and development aspects (good). The trainer was proven effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, practical skills, and students’ confidence in industrial automation systems. Therefore, the implementation of a PLC-based pneumatic trainer shows strong potential as an effective and sustainable practical learning medium to improve the quality of industrial automation education in vocational institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak: UMKM Hikmah Kitchen menghadapi permasalahan berupa rendahnya literasi digital, belum optimalnya penggunaan media sosial, ketiadaan pengelolaan marketplace, serta teknik pengemasan yang belum memenuhi standar pengiriman jarak jauh. Pendampingan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran digital mitra, khususnya keterampilan pengelolaan media sosial dan marketplace, pembuatan konten promosi, teknik copywriting, serta pengemasan produk agar mampu bersaing di pasar online. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada UMKM Hikmah Kitchen yang berlokasi di Desa Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur, dengan pemilik usaha sebagai mitra tunggal. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi awal, wawancara, perancangan identitas visual, pembuatan akun digital, serta workshop teknis berbasis hands-on training sesuai kebutuhan mitra, serta pendampingan intensif selama satu bulan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi signifikan, dengan kenaikan skor dari 14 (pre-test) menjadi 50 (post-test). Performa digital turut meningkat melalui 7.972 tayangan Instagram, 2.084 tayangan TikTok, serta 64 pengunjung, 18 keranjang, 17 pesanan, dan total penjualan Shopee sebesar Rp.247.870. Skor kepuasan mitra sebesar 37 dari 40 (92,5%) yang mengonfirmasi bahwa pendampingan berdampak positif bagi mitra.Abstract: The Hikmah Kitchen MSME faces challenges such as low digital literacy, suboptimal use of social media, lack of marketplace management, and packaging techniques that do not meet long-distance delivery standards. This mentoring aims to improve partners' digital marketing capacity, particularly social media and marketplace management skills, promotional content creation, copywriting techniques, and product packaging to enable them to compete in the online market. The activity was carried out at the Hikmah Kitchen MSME located in Paciran Village, Lamongan Regency, East Java, with the business owner as the sole partner. The implementation method included initial observation, interviews, visual identity design, digital account creation, and technical workshops based on hands-on training according to the partner's needs, as well as intensive mentoring for one month. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in competency, with a score increasing from 14 (pre-test) to 50 (post-test). Digital performance also increased through 7,972 Instagram views, 2,084 TikTok views, as well as 64 visitors, 18 baskets, 17 orders, and total Shopee sales of Rp. 247,870. The partner satisfaction score was 37 out of 40 (92.5%), confirming that the mentoring had a positive impact on partners.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendampingan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kurasi bacaan fiksi nonfiksi pada 77% guru bahasa Indonesia MGMP Kota Batu, sehingga buku bermutu dari SIBI, BUDI, dan platform lain belum dimanfaatkan optimal sebagai sumber belajar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengkurasi bacaan berkualitas untuk jenjang SMP–SMA. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi sumber bacaan, Diskusi Kelompok Terpumpun, sesi berbagi praktik baik, serta workshop kurasi dengan peserta 60 guru. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas, angket pretes postes, dan tugas praktik kurasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan kurasi sebesar 35%, dengan lebih dari 80% guru aktif dalam praktik dan mampu mengaitkan bacaan dengan capaian pembelajaran serta kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, guru menghasilkan kurasi lebih sistematis dan relevan sehingga memperluas pemanfaatan bahan literasi di sekolah. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas soft skill analisis literasi dan kesiapan guru menyediakan bacaan bermutu bagi siswa.Abstract: This community service program was initiated due to limited curation skills among 77% of Indonesian language teachers in the Batu City MGMP group, resulting in low utilization of high-quality fiction and nonfiction books available on SIBI, BUDI, and other platforms. The program aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding and skills in curating quality reading materials for secondary school students. The methods included source-literacy dissemination, Focus Group Discussions, best-practice sharing, and a curation workshop involving 60 teachers. Evaluation was carried out through classroom observation, pre- and post-tests, and practical curation assignments. The results show a 35% improvement in teachers’ curation competence, with more than 80% actively participating in discussions and demonstrating the ability to align curated texts with learning objectives and students’ characteristics. Teachers produced more systematic and relevant curation outputs, expanding the use of quality reading materials in schools. The program strengthened teachers’ literacy-analysis soft skills and improved their readiness to provide meaningful reading resources.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan utama kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah minimnya variasi dan inovasi produk kuliner yang mengangkat identitas budaya lokal pada Teaching Factory Mulia Bread & Cakes di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kencong, Jember. Tujuan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan kreativitas, keterampilan inovasi produk, jiwa kewirausahaan, serta nilai jual produk berbasis budaya lokal. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi dan workshop inovasi produk, praktikum pembuatan brownies motif batik khas Jember, pelatihan standar produksi higienis, serta pelatihan digital marketing. Kegiatan melibatkan mitra Teaching Factory dan 20 siswa, dengan evaluasi melalui observasi keterampilan, kualitas produk, dan capaian penjualan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan hardskill pengolahan dan desain produk sebesar ±35%, peningkatan softskill kewirausahaan dan kreativitas sebesar ±40%, serta peningkatan nilai ekonomis produk sebesar ±30% dibanding produk sebelumnya. Inovasi Brownies Motif Batik Khas Jember berhasil menjadi produk unggulan yang bernilai budaya dan berdaya saing pasar.Abstract: The main problem addressed in this community service program was the limited product variation and low innovation reflecting local cultural identity at the Mulia Bread & Cakes Teaching Factory, SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kencong, Jember. The program aimed to enhance students’ creativity, product innovation skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and the economic value of local culture-based products. The methods included socialization and workshops on product innovation, hands-on practice in producing batik-patterned brownies inspired by Jember’s traditional motifs, training on hygienic production standards, and digital marketing training. The program involved the Teaching Factory partner and 20 students, with evaluation conducted through skill observation, product quality assessment, and sales performance analysis. The results showed an improvement in hard skills related to processing and product design by approximately 35%, soft skills such as creativity and entrepreneurship by around 40%, and an increase in product economic value by about 30% compared to previous products. The Batik Motif Brownies emerged as a competitive and culturally distinctive flagship product.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai kosmetik yang sudah memiliki izin edar resmi, dan bagaimana cara membeli skincare yang aman di marketplace, serta meningkatnya penyebaran produk skincare ilegal di pasaran menjadi alasan utama untuk diselenggarakan kegiaan PKM di desa Parakan yang ada di Kabupaten Garut. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran 21 orang kader PKK tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan kulit serta kemampuan dalam memilih produk perawatan kulit yang aman saat berbelanja, khususnya melalui situs e-commerc. Kegiatan ini dilakukan bekerjasama antara Universitas Garut, STIKES Karsa Husada, dan Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia dengan pendekatan yang edukatif dan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian informasi melalui presentasi, diskusi interaktif, dan adanya pre dan post test sebanyak 4 pertanyaan. Hasil awal dari analisis kondisi kulit peserta menunjukkan adanya masalah utama berupa flek di wajah, diikuti dengan tanda-tanda penuaan dini seperti kerutan dan kantung mata. Hasil pre dan post test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan warga dari 80,97% menjadi 100%. Selama kegiatan, anggota PKK menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dan minat tinggi terhadap materi, terutama dalam hal identifikasi produk skincare yang legal, risiko penggunaan produk ilegal, serta pemilihan produk perawatan kulit yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai produk kosmetik yang aman, sehat, dan halal. Abstract: The lack of public understanding regarding cosmetics that already have official distribution permits, and how to buy safe skincare in the marketplace, as well as the increasing distribution of illegal skincare products in the market are the main reasons for holding PKM activities in Parakan village in Garut Regency. The main objective of this activity is to increase the knowledge and awareness of 21 persons PKK cadres about the importance of maintaining healthy skin and the ability to choose safe skincare products when shopping, especially through e-commerce sites. This activity was carried out in collaboration between the University of Garut, STIKES Karsa Husada, and Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) Malaysia with an educational and participatory approach. The methods used included delivering information through presentations, interactive discussions, and pre- and post-tests. Initial results from the analysis of participants' skin conditions showed that the main problem was spots on the face, followed by signs of premature aging such as wrinkles and eye bags. The results of the pre- and post-tests with 4 questions showed an increase in community knowledge from 80.97% to 100%. During the activity, PKK members demonstrated active participation and a high level of interest in the material, particularly regarding identifying legal skincare products, the risks of using illegal products, and selecting skincare products that suit individual needs. This activity had a positive impact on increasing participants' understanding of safe, healthy, and halal cosmetic products.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada POKTAN Mayang Mandiri, sebuah kelompok tani yang beranggotakan 11 orang dan berlokasi di Kota Jambi. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kemampuan manajerial petani melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna dan sistem pencatatan keuangan berbasis aplikasi. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi keterbatasan alat bantu pertanian dan lemahnya administrasi keuangan yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Sistem Budgeting Petani serta pengenalan dan pemanfaatan alat bantu pertanian seperti alat angkut dan pelubang tanah. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan, demonstrasi, serah terima alat, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Peningkatan keterampilan mitra diukur menggunakan sistem evaluasi berbasis observasi dan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta terhadap pencatatan keuangan digital, di mana 73% anggota mampu menggunakan aplikasi secara mandiri. Selain itu, pemanfaatan alat bantu pertanian mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan lahan hingga 30%. Tingkat kepuasan mitra mencapai 91,5%, menandakan bahwa program ini efektif dan relevan dalam mendukung produktivitas serta kemandirian kelompok tani.Abstract: This community service activity was carried out at POKTAN Mayang Mandiri, a farmer group with 11 members located in Jambi City. This program aims to improve work efficiency and managerial skills of farmers through the implementation of appropriate technology and an application-based financial recording system. The main problems faced by partners include limited agricultural tools and weak financial administration, which is still carried out manually. The solution offered was training on the use of the Farmer Budgeting System application and an introduction to and utilization of agricultural tools such as transport equipment and soil drills. The implementation method included training, demonstrations, tool handover, and monitoring and evaluation. Improvement in partner skills was measured using an observation-based evaluation system and structured interviews. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital financial recording, with 73% of members able to use the application independently. In addition, the use of agricultural tools was able to increase land cultivation efficiency by up to 30%. The partner satisfaction rate reached 91.5%, indicating that this program is effective and relevant in supporting the productivity and independence of farmer groups.
