Abstract

The pond management system in Anggana District, Muara Pantuan Village, generally uses a profit-sharing system (mudharabah), where pond workers do not have their own land and work for the pond owner. All management costs are borne by the owner, with a trust-based cooperation without a time limit. This study aims to understand the implementation of the profit-sharing system between workers and pond owners and assess its impact on the welfare of both parties. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample consisted of 9 respondents, namely 3 pond owners and 6 pond workers. The results of the study showed that the mudharabah system was implemented verbally, where pond owners handed over their ponds to workers to manage, while all costs remained the responsibility of the owner. This system is in accordance with the principles of muamalah in Islam and has been proven to provide significant benefits, including improving the welfare of workers and pond owners in meeting their living needs, education, and housing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social interaction between administrative officers and Umrah pilgrims in the registration process, both manually and digitally, using an ethnomethodological approach. This research also explores the social, cultural, and technical factors that influence the quality of interaction in order to understand the formation of social meaning through the actions of indexicality, reflexivity, and contextual action. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of in-depth interview data and observation of the Umrah registration process. The results showed that social interaction in Umrah registration is a multidimensional phenomenon. The socio-cultural dimension emphasizes the importance of understanding the pilgrims' character, the quality of trust-based social relations, and adaptive communication to the pilgrims' cultural background. The procedural-technical dimension highlights the role of technology in improving service efficiency, despite challenges such as limited digital literacy. The findings show that adaptive communication and religious values are key elements in building harmonious relationships between administrative officers, religious leaders and worshipers. This research provides important implications for strengthening faith-based services through staff training, inclusive technology development, and cultural and religious value-based approaches, which can be applied in local and global contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the political communication strategies implemented by young parliamentary candidates, especially the millennial generation, in reaching young voters in the 2024 Election in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with direct observation approaches, in-depth interviews, document studies, and participatory observations. The results of the study show that millennial parliamentary candidates utilize mass and digital media, such as social media and mobile devices, as the main means to reach young voters. The uses and gratifications theory emphasizes that millennials actively choose media that suits their needs, making digital media the main instrument in political communication. However, major challenges arise from low historical literacy and the prevalence of fake news (hoaxes), which can damage the credibility of candidates and parties. To overcome these obstacles, a community-based strategy is needed, both physically and online, to build trust through offline discussions and positive literacy. With this approach, millennial candidates are expected to be able to convince young voters of their ability to bring change and progress in regional development.

Abstract

This study discusses the congregation's reception of the Tafsir Al-Ibriz in religious studies at LPPQ Al-Karim as a form of implementation of the Living Qur'an study. The focus of the study is how the congregation accepts and internalizes the teachings of the interpretation in the context of their social life. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used to explore the interaction between religious texts and the social context of the congregation. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observations, while secondary data were obtained from related literature. The results of the study indicate that the Al-Ibriz interpretation, which uses Javanese, plays a significant role in bridging the understanding of the text of the Qur'an with the reality of local community life. The congregation feels spiritual transformation, increased religious insight, and changes in more positive social behavior. This study highlights the importance of a local approach in religious studies to strengthen relevant and applicable religious understanding. This study provides theoretical contributions to the study of the Living Qur'an, as well as practical contributions for managers of religious study institutions in designing programs based on the needs of the congregation.
