Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of social vulnerability and determine the variables that contribute most to dengue fever in Bidara Cina Village, East Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive using the SoVI (Social Vulnerability Index) variable. The SoVI variables used are population density, age group 5-14 years, age group 15-44 years, poor population, number of dengue fever incidents, and higher education. The SoVI variable for each RW will have its vulnerability value calculated using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) analysis technique and weighting and scoring will be carried out to determine the distribution of social vulnerability to dengue fever. The category of social vulnerability to dengue fever in Bidara Cina Subdistrict is divided into five categories, namely very low, low, medium, high and very high. The results of the research show that social vulnerability to dengue fever in Bidara Cina Village is in the low category. The variable that contributed most to the increase in dengue fever in Bidara Cina Village was the age group 5-14 years.

Abstract

The Geotpack (Geography Technology, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) Improvement Training for geography teachers in Situbondo Regency based on 3D Map Excel aims to overcome obstacles in the use of technology in geography learning. This training consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation and reflection. In the preparation stage, researchers identified the problem of low optimisation of technology use that hampers teachers' ability to teach spatial thinking concepts. The training then focused on the use of 3D Map Excel to visualize geographic data in three-dimensional form. During the training, participants were introduced to the TPACK concept that integrates technology, pedagogy and knowledge content. The practice of creating 3D maps was conducted using data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), with intensive mentoring to ensure the success of each participant. The evaluation results showed that all participants successfully applied the 3D map-making technique and planned to apply it in the classroom learning process. The implementation of 3D Map Excel technology is expected to increase the effectiveness of geography learning, create a more interactive and interesting atmosphere, and increase students' interest in learning. This training confirms the importance of improving teachers' competence in utilizing technology to create an innovative and effective learning environment.

Abstract

Disaster knowledge is critical to preparedness. Apart from knowledge, preparedness is an essential aspect of preparedness. This research aims to analyze students' knowledge of earthquake disasters, students' readiness to face earthquake disasters, and the influence of knowledge on students' readiness to face disasters. This research uses quantitative research with a correlational design. The research population was all SMA N 1 Wedi students, totaling 749. The research sample consisted of 263 students, calculated using the 5% Slovin formula. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique. Data analysis used normality and homogeneity tests followed by product-moment correlation tests. The results of the research are students' disaster knowledge of 83%, which shows that students' knowledge of disasters is categorized as high, and readiness to face disasters of 97%, which shows that students are ready. Moreover,  the hypothesis test carried out obtained a Sig. 0.00 < 0.05 means a significant influence exists between knowledge and students' readiness to face earthquake disasters.

Abstract

The designs of our  research are to analyze the utilization of the Index Card Match learning model in high school geography learning, analyze student learning outcomes before and after the application of the Index Card Match learning model in geography learning in high school, analyze the effect of the Index learning model Card Match in geography learning on student learning outcomes in high school, and highlights the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the Index Card Match learning model in geography learning in high school. This study used an experiment with the Non-equivalent Control Group Design with the observation and tests Method. The outcomes declared that The Index Card Match Learning Model in geography learning at SMAS Laboratory Undiksha can apply teachers in the "very good" category and achieve a score of 88.5. Student Learning Outcomes have increased after the implementation of the Index Card Match Learning Model of 55,40%. The Index Card Match Learning Model has a significant effect on Student Geography Learning Outcomes with a significance of 0.000 <0.050. Moreover, tThere are no problems, either from the teacher or from the students therefore the Index Card Match learning model can also be applied to other learning materials besides atmosphere.

Abstract

The Baturiti District is a district that often experiences flash floods, causing vulnerability in the affected areas. The vulnerability caused by these flash floods includes social vulnerability, physical vulnerability, economic vulnerability, and environmental vulnerability. Therefore, there is a need to project the vulnerability to flash floods in order to minimize the impact in the coming years. This research aims to determine the extent and location of potential flash flood vulnerability in the Baturiti District in the year 2045. The method used in this research is Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) according to Regulation No. 2 of 2012 by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). Each parameter is given its respective weight and will be classified using fuzzy logic approach, and for projection, arithmetic growth method and forecast method are used. The results of this research show that the projection of flash flood vulnerability in the Baturiti District in the year 2045 covers an area of 966 hectares. The location with the highest vulnerability area is in the villages of Angseri, Candikuning, Bangli, and Baturiti.

Abstract

Remote sensing is a technology used to obtain information about the earth or objects on the earth's surface through the capture and analysis of data from sensors located on satellite aircraft. The benefits of remote sensing are numerous, one of which is for mapping land use and land cover. In conducting this research, there are 3 types of images used, namely Landsat 2014 and 2024 images, Sentinel 2024 images, and Pleiades 2024 images. The reason for taking these three images for analysis and practicum is because the Landsat image has low spatial resolution, the sentinel image has medium spatial resolution, and the pleiades image has high spatial resolution. This difference can show the most effective image used to analyze land cover and land use in Ciwaruga Village. The accuracy test using Confusion Matrix and Kappa Index shows a good level of interpretation accuracy if it exceeds the predetermined standards. In this case, the use of high-resolution imagery, such as Pleiades, provides more detailed interpretation results.

Abstract

Bandung Regency experiences significant dynamics of surface temperature change due to rapid development and land use change. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Land Surface Temperature (LST) in Bandung Regency during the 2018-2022 period and identify the factors that influence it. The method used is the analysis of Modis Terra Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity 8-Day Global satellite image data using Google Earth Engine to produce average surface temperature distribution data presented in the form of graphs and temporal maps. The results showed surface temperature variations ranging from 18°C to 32°C, with distribution patterns influenced by topography and land cover. The mountain-dominated southern region has temperatures of 18-20°C, while the northern and northeastern regions reach 28-32°C. There is a seasonal pattern where the September-October period shows the highest temperatures, while June-July is relatively stable. Land conversion, which accounts for 34,327.48 hectares (49.25%) of total land change in the BMA, contributes significantly to surface temperature dynamics. It can be concluded that land cover change, infrastructure development activities, and topographic factors have a major influence on surface temperature variability in Bandung Regency, so that stricter spatial management and integrated afforestation programs are needed to mitigate the impact of increasing surface temperatures.

Abstract

Indonesia is located between four major tectonic plates, making it vulnerable to various natural disasters, including floods caused by high rainfall, river sedimentation, and land-use changes. Malang City, as a growing urban area, has experienced an increasing frequency of floods over the past five years. This study aims to evaluate the factors contributing to flood vulnerability and produce a risk zoning map using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. A quantitative approach was employed by analyzing parameters such as rainfall, soil type, slope gradient, elevation, land use, and river proximity using the weighted overlay method. The results indicate that high-risk areas include the districts of Klojen, Blimbing, Sukun, and Lowokwaru. Key factors include high rainfall intensity, limited infiltration areas, and proximity to major rivers. This zoning map is expected to assist the government in disaster mitigation planning, improving drainage infrastructure, and enhancing community resilience to floods.
