Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students' creative thinking skills in the learning approach course. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 Ă— 2 factorial design. The study population was STIPAS Tahasak Danum Pambelum students. The research sample consisted of 23 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. Data collection was carried out using two kinds of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) instrument to measure students' cognitive styles and the instrument to test students' creative thinking skills in the form of essays. The results of data analysis and statistical tests show that there is an effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students' creative thinking skills in the learning approach course. Based on the results of this research, it is suggested to educators or lecturers, especially those who teach learning approach courses, to be able to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model developed as an innovation in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

For students, social laziness is a major issue. Social lazines is linked to a number of elements, including self-efficacy and success drive. Individuals with a high level of self-efficacy can easily complete the tasks in their work group, thus they do not free ride in their work group. The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the link between self-eficacy and success motivation and social lazines in students. This study employs quantitative corelational approaches. This study's population consisted of students of one school in Indonesia. The sampel size for this study was 300 students drawn from eight courses using the custer random selection approach. According to the findings of this study, self-eficacy has a strong partial link with social lazines, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.613. Achievemen motivation has a strong partially relationship with social sloth, with a significanc value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.623. Self-eficacy and succes drive are strongly asociated with social lazines. Furthermore, the three variables have a significant relationship, with a correlation value of 0.640. As a result, there is a link between students’ self-eficacy, succs motivation, and social lazines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce student worksheets in accordance with the needs of students in understanding the material presented in thematic learning. This study aims to identify the feasibility of student worksheet products with the method used, namely the ADDIE method with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility of this product is assessed from the aspects of content, design and language. The data source for this research was 30 students in class V A of Elementary School 26 Pontianak Tenggara, totaling 30 people with two stages of research implementation. The difference in assessment at the two stages of the research is that students like questions or assignments that vary with illustrated pictures that attract attention so that it makes it easier to understand the material for each subject contained in each learning that takes place. Thus the use of illustrated pictures and varied forms of questions can attract students' interest in learning along with the subject matter of learning in each activity on the worksheet helping students understand the material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to photograph the implementation of life cycle education that has been carried out in inclusive primary schools, and to describe the activities and skills of the implementation process that have been implemented in inclusive schools. The subjects in this study were teachers from class 1 to class V, the number of samples interviewed was 6 teacher boards and one PLP student. Data collection methods used by researchers are interviews, observations, and supporting documents while on location. Analysis of the data obtained from the implementation of life skills education. including the main skills, namely self-knowledge skills, academic skills (and thinking skills) and social skills. Seeing the implementation of life skill activities that have been carried out properly since the school was founded. In the Cilegon city civilization school, it has been integrated with two curricula, namely the 2013 curriculum and the school curriculum. The two curricula already include extracurricular and regular learning activities. The analysis of the results of this study can be concluded as follows: that the implementation of life skills education is very important to be taught to elementary school children who provide inclusive education. This has also been applied by parents to their children since entering civilization elementary schools. The hope is that in the future parents are advised to be able to establish good cooperation regarding the implementation of life skills education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of micro teaching learning in the Mathematics Education study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. This type of research is ex-post facto with a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were students of the UNIMEN Mathematics Education study program who had taken micro teaching courses and whose status was still active. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and presentation of documentation. Qualitative data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that micro eaching plays a positive role in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. Through micro teaching activities, students not only gain knowledge and experience regarding teaching, but also gain character or personality improvement in it, namely having an attitude of discipline, responsibility, creativity, and independence.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the guided discovery method with a cooperative setting. The subjects of this study were students of class IX at MTSSMuhammadiyah Enrekang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which had three learning process meetings and one meeting where the learning outcomes test was conducted. The data collection technique used in this research is data on learning outcomes taken by giving tests at the end of each cycle, while data on teacher activities and student activities are taken using observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II. These conclusions were obtained from: (1) The average increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes from cycle I was 68.11 to cycle II of 83.11. (2) The students' mathematics learning mastery increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely from 22 students increased to 35 students, and classically achieved 100% completeness. (3) Increased student activity in participating in learning from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

The Inside-Outside-Circle learning model or translated as the Small Circle-Large Circle learning model is a cooperative learning model in which two students in pairs from small and large circles share information. This information exchange can be done by all partners at the same time. Based on the results of the post test, it was found that the results of the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Enrekang on the subject of statistics for the experimental class that applied the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model obtained an average value of 70.13, with a standard deviation of 9, 13 and the control class that applied the direct learning model obtained an average value of 62.42 with a standard deviation of 10.41. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model are higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the direct learning model. this means that there is an influence of the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

In an organization, employee discipline is crucial for carrying out work effectively, especially in determining the direction and goals of the organization. The purpose of this research is to directly examine the influence of sanctions on work motivation, the influence of work motivation on employee discipline, the influence of sanctions on work discipline, and the influence of sanctions on employee discipline in the Regional Government Agencies (OPD) in West Lombok Regency through work motivation. The research method used is quantitative research with a population of 712 civil servant employees from 10 OPD in West Lombok Regency, and a sample size of 100 civil servant employees using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The research results show significant direct effects between the imposition of sanctions and work motivation, work motivation and employee discipline, the imposition of sanctions and work discipline, and the imposition of sanctions on employee discipline in the OPD in West Lombok Regency through work motivation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning difficulties that occur in economics subjects, therefore the teacher's strategy in overcoming student learning difficulties in economics subjects is very necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the economics teacher's strategy in overcoming students' learning difficulties at MAN Purwakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the strategy used by economics teachers in overcoming economic learning difficulties is by using an expository strategy, namely a strategy that emphasizes the process of delivering material verbally from the teacher to a group of students with the intention that students can master the subject matter optimally. Just as the teacher takes a personal approach and provides additional lessons, if there are students who are really difficult to understand the material the teacher is more focused on helping these students, thus the teacher can find out what difficulties students are experiencing and motivate students to leave. of the problems experienced. The conclusion of this study is that the role of the teacher is very large in overcoming student learning difficulties.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, document study, in-depth interviews and data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Non-Formal Education of PKBM Bunda Kecamatan Samarinda Utara Kota Samarinda Regency has successfully implemented a development strategy. The development strategy is carried out on the development of financing, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the quality of graduates and student achievement. The results of the SPACE analysis result in the position of Strengths Opportunities (aggressive strategy), namely a strategy to take advantage of opportunities by using the strengths of educational institutions. The results of the SWOT analysis that produce alternative strategies are (a) developing Promotional Socialization and MoU of Fostered Villages, (b) developing Institutional infrastructure by accessing educational assistance from both central and local governments (c) developing skills so that it becomes a life skills-based educational institution. While the results of research on the implementation of the stages according to the theory of Pearce and Robinson, and Fred David.
